हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मैं धनों का शीर्ष रूप रहूं. जो व्यक्ति मेरे समान हैं, उन में मैं मस्तक के समान उच्च रहूं. (१)
EN English Translation
Let me be the top form of wealth. In those who are like me, I should be as high as the head. (1)
रु॒जश्च॑ मावे॒नश्च॒ मा हा॑सिष्टां मू॒र्धा च॑ मा॒ विध॑र्मा च॒ मा हा॑सिष्टाम् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
रज, यज्ञ, मूर्धा अर्थात् शीश और विशेष धर्म मेरा त्याग न करें. (२)
EN English Translation
Do not renounce Raja, Yagya, Murdha i.e. Shish and special dharmas. (2)
उ॒र्वश्च॑ माचम॒सश्च॒ मा हा॑सिष्टां ध॒र्ता च॑ मा ध॒रुण॑श्च॒ मा हा॑सिष्टाम् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
उर्व अर्थात् पकाने वाला पात्र, चमस अर्थात् चमचा धारण करने वाले और आधार मुझ से अलगन हों. (३)
EN English Translation
Urva means cooking vessel, chamas i.e. chamcha-wearing and base should be separated from me. (3)
वि॑मो॒कश्च॑मा॒र्द्रप॑विश्च॒ मा हा॑सिष्टामा॒र्द्रदा॑नुश्च मा मात॒रिश्वा॑ च॒ माहा॑सिष्टाम् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मुक्त करने वाला तथा गीला आयुध, आर्ट्रदानु और मातरिश्वा अर्थात् पवन मुझ से अलग न हो. (४)
EN English Translation
The liberator and wet armament, artradenu and matrishva i.e. wind should not be separated from me. (4)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हर्ष देने वाले, अनुग्रह करने वाले तथा मन को लगाने वाले बृहस्पति मेरी आत्मा हैं. (५)

Jupiter, who gives joy, grace and puts the mind, is my soul. (5)
अ॑संता॒पं मे॒हृद॑यमु॒र्वी गव्यू॑तिः समु॒द्रो अ॑स्मि॒ विध॑र्मणा ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
दो कोस तक की भूमि मेरे अधिकार में हो. मेरा हृदय कभी संतप्त न रहे. मैं धारण करने की शक्ति के द्वारा सागर के समान गंभीर बनूं. (६)
EN English Translation
Land up to two kos should be in my possession. May my heart never be angry. I should be as serious as the ocean by the power to hold. (6)
