मैं धनों की नाभि के समान बनूं. जो पुरुष मेरे समान हैं, उन में भी मैं नाभि रूप बनूं. (१)

Let me be like the navel of wealth. Let me also be the navel form in men who are like me. (1)

शरेष्ठ उषा मरण धर्मा मनुष्यों में अमृत से युक्त है तथा सुंदरता के साथ प्रतिष्ठित होती है. (२)

Shreshtha Usha is endowed with nectar in the dying dharma and is revered with beauty. (2)

प्राण वायु मेरा त्याग न करे. अपान वायु भी मुझे छोड़ कर न जाए. (३)
EN English Translation
Let the air of life not abandon me. Don't let your air leave me. (3)
सूर्यो॒ माह्नः॑पात्व॒ग्निः पृ॑थि॒व्या वा॒युर॒न्तरि॑क्षाद्य॒मो म॑नु॒ष्येभ्यः॒ सर॑स्वती॒पार्थि॑वेभ्यः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सूर्य दिन में मेरी रक्षा करें. अग्नि पृथ्वी पर मेरी रक्षा करे. वायु अंतरिक्ष में, यम मनुष्यों से तथा सरस्वती पार्थिव पदार्थो से मेरी रक्षा करने वाली हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
Protect me during the sun day. May agni protect me on earth. In air space, Yama is the protector of me from humans and Saraswati from earthly substances. (4)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
प्राण और अपान वायु मेरा त्याग न करें. मैं सदा प्रसन्न रहूं. (५)
EN English Translation
Do not give up my life and your air. May I always be happy. (5)
स्व॒स्त्यद्योषसो॑ दो॒षस॑श्च॒ सर्व॑ आपः॒ सर्व॑गणो अशीय ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
उषा काल और रात्रि के द्वारा मंगल हो. मैं सभी गणों और जलों का उपयोग करने वाला बनूं. (६)
EN English Translation
Mars is done through usha kaal and night. Let me be the one who uses all the ganas and waters. (6)
शक्व॑री स्थप॒शवो॒ मोप॑ स्थेषुर्मि॒त्रावरु॑णौ मे प्राणापा॒नाव॒ग्निर्मे॒ दक्षं॑ दधातु ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे पशुओ! तुम भुजाओं वाले बनो तथा मेरे पास स्थित रहो. वरुण देव मेरी प्राण और अपान वायु को पोषित करें. अग्नि देव मेरे बल को दृढ़ करें. (७)
EN English Translation
O animals! You be armed and be with me. May Varun Dev nourish my life and your air. May Agni Dev strengthen my strength. (7)
