आ र॑भस्वे॒माम॒मृत॑स्य॒ श्नुष्टि॒मच्छि॑द्यमाना ज॒रद॑ष्टिरस्तु ते । असुं॑ त॒ आयुः॒ पुन॒रा भ॑रामि॒ रज॒स्तमो॒ मोप॑ गा॒ मा प्र मे॑ष्ठाः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे आयु की कामना करने वाले पुरुष! तुम हमारे द्वारा किए जाते हुए अमरण संबंधी अनुष्ठान को अनुभव करो. तुम्हारा शरीर शत्रुओं के द्वारा छिन्नभिन्न न होने वाला तथा वृद्धावस्था को प्राप्त करने वाला हो. इस के लिए मृत्यु से छीने गए तेरे प्राणों को मैं पुनः आयु से भरता हूं. तू सत्व गुण के प्रतिबंधक रजोगुण और तमोगुण को प्राप्त न हो. तू हिंसा को भी प्राप्त न हो. (१)
EN English Translation
O men wishing for age! You experience the immortal rituals we perform. Your body is not broken by enemies and attains old age. For this, I fill your life taken away from death with life again. You should not attain the restrictive rajoguna and tamoguna of sattva guna. You don't even get violence. (1)
जीव॑तां॒ ज्योति॑र॒भ्येह्य॒र्वाङा त्वा॑ हरामि श॒तशा॑रदाय । अ॑वमु॒ञ्चन्मृ॑त्युपा॒शानश॑स्तिं॒ द्राघी॑य॒ आयुः॑ प्रत॒रं ते॑ दधामि ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे पुरुष! तू मनुष्यों की ज्ञान दीप्ति प्राप्त कर के हमारे सामने आ. हम तुझे सौ संवत तक जीने के लिए मृत्यु से छीन लाए हैं. मृत्यु के ज्वर, सिरदर्द आदि पाशों से हम ने तुझे छुड़ाया है. हम तुझे निंदा से मुक्त करते हुए सौ वर्ष की दीर्घ आयु में अत्यधिक रूप से स्थापित करते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
O man! You receive the light of the knowledge of men and come before us. We have taken you away from death to live for a hundred samvats. We have rescued you from the fever, headache, etc. of death. We highly establish you at a long age of a hundred years, freeing you from condemnation. (2)
वाता॑त्ते प्रा॒णम॑विदं॒ सूर्या॒च्चक्षु॑र॒हं तव॑ । यत्ते॒ मन॒स्त्वयि॒ तद्धा॑रयामि॒ सं वि॒त्स्वाङ्गै॒र्वद॑ जि॒ह्वयाल॑पन् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे प्राणरहित पुरुष! मैं ने तुम्हारे प्राणों को वायु से प्राप्त किया है. मैं ने तुम्हारे चक्षु को सूर्य से प्राप्त किया है तथा मैं तुम्हारे मन को तुम्हीं में धारण करता हूं. इस प्रकार तुम सभी अंगों से युक्त हो कर एवं जीभ से बोलते हुए व्यक्त उच्चारण करो. (३)
EN English Translation
O man without life! I have received your souls from the air. I have received your eye from the sun and I hold your mind in you. In this way, you should speak with all the organs and speak with the tongue. (3)
प्रा॒णेन॑ त्वा द्वि॒पदां॒ चतु॑ष्पदाम॒ग्निमि॑व जा॒तम॒भि सं ध॑मामि । नम॑स्ते मृत्यो॒ चक्षु॑षे॒ नमः॑ प्रा॒णाय॑ तेऽकरम् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे प्राणहीन पुरुष! मैं दो पैरों वाले अर्थात् स्त्रीपुरुषों और चार पैरों वाले अर्थात् गाय, घोड़े आदि पशुओं के प्राणों से तुझे इस प्रकार संयुक्त करता हूं, जिस प्रकार अरणि मंथन से अग्नि उत्पन्न होती है. हे मृत्यु! मैं ने तेरे क्रूर नेत्र के लिए नमस्कार किया है तथा तेरे अत्यधिक बल के लिए भी मैं नमस्कार करता हूं. (४)
EN English Translation
O soulless man! I combine you with the lives of animals with two legs i.e. women and four feet i.e. cows, horses, etc., in such a way that agni is produced from the churning of the forest. O death! I have greeted you for your cruel eye and I also salute for your great strength. (4)
अ॒यं जी॑वतु॒ मा मृ॑ते॒मं समी॑रयामसि । कृ॒णोम्य॑स्मै भेष॒जं मृत्यो॒ मा पुरु॑षं वधीः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
यह प्राणहीन पुरुष जीवित रहे. यह मरण को प्राप्त न हो. हम इसे चेष्टा करने के लिए प्रेरित करते हैं. हम इस मरने वाले पुरुष की चिकित्सा करते हैं. हे मृत्यु! तू इस का वध मत कर. (५)
EN English Translation
This lifeless man survived. It should not be attained by death. We motivate you to try it. We treat this dying man. O death! Don't kill him. (5)
जी॑व॒लां न॑घारि॒षां जी॑व॒न्तीमोष॑धीम॒हम् । त्रा॑यमा॒णां सह॑मानां॒ सह॑स्वतीमि॒ह हु॑वे॒ऽस्मा अ॑रि॒ष्टता॑तये ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जीवन देने वाली, रोष रहित, सेवन करने वाले की रक्षिका, रोग को पराजित करने वाली एवं शक्ति संपन्न जीवंती अर्थात् ग्वारपाठा नामक जड़ीबूटी को व्याधियों के नाश का इच्छुक मैं इस शांति कर्म के लिए बुलाता हूं. वह इस समीपवर्ती पुरुष का रोग निवारण करे. (६)
EN English Translation
I call for this peace deed, which gives life, without anger, protects the protector of the consuming, the disease-defeating and powerful vivity i.e. the herb called Guarpatha, who is willing to destroy the diseases. He should cure the disease of this close man. (6)
अधि॑ ब्रूहि॒ मा र॑भथाः सृ॒जेमं तवै॒व सन्त्सर्व॑हाया इ॒हास्तु॑ । भवा॑शर्वौ मृ॒डतं॒ शर्म॑ यच्छतमप॒सिध्य॑ दुरि॒तं ध॑त्त॒मायुः॑ ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मृत्यु! तुम इस के पक्षपात का वचन कहो. अर्थात् बोलो कि यह मेरा है. तुम इसे मारने का आरंभ मत करो. यह तुम्हारा ही जन है. यह भूलोक में सर्वत्र गति वाला बने. हे भव और शर्व! तुम इसे सुखी करो तथा इस के कल्याण का प्रयत्न करो. तुम इस के व्याधि रूपी पाप को निकाल कर इस में आयु को स्थापित करो. (७)
EN English Translation
O death! You promise the partiality of this. That is, say that it is mine. Don't you start killing it. This is your own people. It should be moving everywhere in the earth. O Bhava and Sharva! Make it happy and try for its welfare. You remove the sin of its disease and establish age in it. (7)
अ॒स्मै मृ॑त्यो॒ अधि॑ ब्रूही॒मं द॑य॒स्वोदि॒तो॒ऽयमे॑तु । अरि॑ष्टः॒ सर्वा॑ङ्गः सु॒श्रुज्ज॒रसा॑ श॒तहा॑यन आ॒त्मना॒ भुज॑मश्नुताम् ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मृत्यु! यह तुम से भयभीत है. तुम इसे बताओ कि यह तुम्हारी कृपा के योग्य है. तुम इस पर दया करो. यह अहिंसित, चक्षु आदि सभी अंगों से युक्त, उत्तम श्रोता एवं वृद्धावस्था पा कर सौ वर्षों तक अन्य जनों की अपेक्षा अधिक भोग प्राप्त करे. (८)
EN English Translation
O death! It's afraid of you. You tell it that it is worthy of your grace. You have mercy on it. It should be non-violent, with all the organs like eyes, etc., getting a good audience and old age and getting more enjoyment than other people for a hundred years. (8)
दे॒वानां॑ हे॒तिः परि॑ त्वा वृणक्तु पा॒रया॑मि त्वा॒ रज॑स॒ उत्त्वा॑ मृ॒त्योर॑पीपरम् । आ॒राद॒ग्निं क्र॒व्यादं॑ नि॒रूहं॑ जी॒वात॑वे ते परि॒धिं द॑धामि ॥ (९)

रुद्र आदि देवों का आयुध तुम्हारी हिंसा न करें. मैं मूर्च्छा लक्षण वाले आवरण से तुम्हें अलग करता हूं. मैं मृत्यु के पाश से तुम्हारा उद्धार करता हूं. मैं मांस खाने वाली अग्नि को तुझ से दूर निकालता हूं तथा तेरे जीवन के लिए परकोटे के रूप में यज्ञ की अग्नि को धारण करता हूं. (९)
EN English Translation
Do not do your violence. I distinguish you from the cover with fainting symptoms. I save you from the loop of death. I take out the flesh-eating agni away from you and wear the agni of yajna as a parakote for your life. (9)
यत्ते॑ नि॒यानं॑ रज॒सं मृत्यो॑ अनवध॒र्ष्यम् । प॒थ इ॒मं तस्मा॒द्रक्ष॑न्तो॒ ब्रह्मा॑स्मै॒ वर्म॑ कृण्मसि ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मृत्यु! तेरे रजोमय मार्ग को कोई धर्षित नहीं कर सकता. उस मार्ग से मैं इस मृत्यु के समीप पहुंचे हुए पुरुष के लिए मनन रूपी कवच पहनाता हूं. (१०)
EN English Translation
O death! No one can disturb your rajomoya path. Through that route, I wear the armor of meditation for the man who has come near this death. (10)
कृ॒णोमि॑ ते प्राणापा॒नौ ज॒रां मृ॒त्युं दी॒र्घमायुः॑ स्व॒स्ति । वै॑वस्व॒तेन॒ प्रहि॑तान्यमदू॒तांश्च॑र॒तोऽप॑ सेधामि॒ सर्वा॑न् ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे आयु को चाहने वाले पुरुष! मैं तेरे शरीर में प्राण और अपान वायु को स्थिर करता हूं. मैं ऐसा उपाय करता हूं, जिस से बुढ़ापा और मृत्यु तुझे न छू सकें. मैं तेरी आयु का विस्तार कर के तेरा कल्याण करता हूं तथा यमराज के द्वारा भेजे हुए एवं सभी जगह घूमते हुए यमदूतों को तुझ से दूर करता हूं. (११)
EN English Translation
O man who wants age! I stabilize the life and my air in your body. I take such measures that old age and death cannot touch you. I extend your life and do your welfare and remove the Yamdoots sent by Yamraj and roaming everywhere from you. (11)
आ॒रादरा॑तिं॒ निरृ॑तिं प॒रो ग्राहिं॑ क्र॒व्यादः॑ पिशा॒चान् । रक्षो॒ यत्सर्वं॑ दुर्भू॒तं तत्तम॑ इ॒वाप॑ हन्मसि ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
शत्रु बनी हुई एवं आगे आ कर पकड़ने वाले पाप देवता निर्त्रति का मैं समीप से हनन करता हूं तथा मांसाहारी पिशाचों का विनाश करता हूं. इस प्रकार दुष्टता को प्राप्त जो संपूर्ण राक्षस जाति है तथा जो अंधकार के समान दूसरों को ढकने वाले हैं, उन का मैं विनाश करता हुं. (१२)
EN English Translation
I closely violate the sin god Nirtrati, who remains an enemy and comes forward, and destroys the carnivorous vampires. In this way, I destroy the entire demon race that attains wickedness and those who cover others like darkness. (12)
अ॒ग्नेष्टे॑ प्रा॒णम॒मृता॒दायु॑ष्मतो वन्वे जा॒तवे॑दसः । यथा॒ न रिष्या॑ अ॒मृतः॑ स॒जूरस॒स्तत्ते॑ कृणोमि॒ तदु॑ ते॒ समृ॑ध्यताम् ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे पाप देवता निर्त्ति के द्वारा प्राणरहित बनाए गए पुरुष! चिरजीवी एवं मरणरहित देव अग्नि से मैं तेरे प्राणों की याचना करता हूं. वह अग्ने देव सभी जन्म लेने वालों को जानते हैं. हे पुरुष! जिस प्रकार तू न मरे और मरणरहित हो कर प्रसन्न बने, मैं तेरे लिए उसी प्रकार का शांतिकर्म करता हूं. तुझ से संबंधित यह शांतिकर्म समृद्ध हो. (१३)
EN English Translation
O sin god, a man made lifeless by creation! I pray for your life from agni, the eternal and deathless God. He knows all those who are born. O man! Just as you do not die and be happy without death, I do the same kind of peace work for you. May this peace deed related to you prosper. (13)
शि॒वे ते॑ स्तां॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी अ॑संता॒पे अ॑भि॒श्रियौ॑ । शं ते॒ सूर्य॒ आ त॑पतु॒ शं वातो॑ वातु ते हृ॒दे । शि॒वा अ॒भि क्ष॑रन्तु॒ त्वापो॑ दि॒व्याः पय॑स्वतीः ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे कुमार! तेरे घर से निकलने के समय द्यावा पृथ्वी मंगल करने वाली हों, संताप न पहुंचाएं तथा तुझे धन प्रदान करें. सूर्य तेरे लिए सुखकारक तपें तथा वायु तेरे मन के अनुकूल बन कर एवं सुखकारी हो कर चले. दिव्य जल तेरे लिए अनेक प्रकार के स्वादों से युक्त एवं कल्याणकारी हो कर बरसें. (१४)
EN English Translation
O Kumar! At the time of leaving your house, the earth is going to do mars, do not cause anger and give you money. Let the sun be pleasant for you and the air becomes favorable to your mind and becomes happy. May divine water rain for you with many types of flavors and welfare. (14)
शि॒वास्ते॑ स॒न्त्वोष॑धय॒ उत्त्वा॑हार्ष॒मध॑रस्या॒ उत्त॑रां पृथि॒वीम॒भि । तत्र॑ त्वादि॒त्यौ र॑क्षतां सूर्याचन्द्र॒मसा॑वु॒भा ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे कुमार! तेरे भोजन के उपयोग में आने वाले गेहूं आदि अन्न सुखकारी हों. पृथ्वी के निचले भाग की अपेक्षा तेरे निमित्त ऊंची पृथ्वी का उद्धार किया गया है. पृथ्वी के उच्च भाग में अदिति के पुत्र सूर्य और चंद्रमा दोनों तेरी रक्षा करें. (१५)
EN English Translation
O Kumar! The grains like wheat etc. used in your food should be pleasant. The earth higher has been saved for you than the lower part of the earth. In the higher part of the earth, aditi's son, both the sun and the moon protect you. (15)
यत्ते॒ वासः॑ परि॒धानं॒ यां नी॒विं कृ॑णु॒षे त्वम् । शि॒वं ते॑ त॒न्वि॒ तत्कृ॑ण्मः संस्प॒र्शेऽद्रू॑क्ष्णमस्तु ते ॥ (१६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे बालक! जो वस्त्र तेरे ऊपरी भाग को ढक रहा है और जिसे तूने कमर के नीचे पहना है, ये दोनों प्रकार के वस्त्र तेरे शरीर के लिए कल्याणकारी एवं सुखद हों. इस वस्त्र को मैं ऐसा बनाता हूं कि यह छूने में कठोर न लगे. (१६)
EN English Translation
O boy! The garment that is covering your upper part and which you are wearing below the waist, these two types of clothes should be beneficial and pleasant for your body. I make this cloth so that it does not look harsh to touch. (16)
यत्क्षु॒रेण॑ म॒र्चय॑ता सुते॒जसा॒ वप्ता॒ वप॑सि केशश्म॒श्रु । शुभं॒ मुखं॒ मा न॒ आयुः॒ प्र मो॑षीः ॥ (१७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सविता देव! अथवा हजामत बनाने वाले पुरुष! जब तुम केश काटने वाले नाई हो कर शोभन तेज वाले उस्तरे को चलाते हो, सिर और दाढ़ी के बाल काटते हो, तब मुंडन किए जाते हुए इस बालक का मुख तेजस्वी बनाओ तथा इस की आयु को मत चुराओ. (१७)
EN English Translation
O Savita Dev! Or shaving men! When you are a hair-cutting barber and run a razor with graceful sharpness, cut the hair of the head and beard, then make the face of this child bright while being tonsured and do not steal his age. (17)
शि॒वौ ते॑ स्तां व्रीहिय॒वाव॑बला॒साव॑दोम॒धौ । ए॒तौ यक्ष्मं॒ वि बा॑धेते ए॒तौ मु॑ञ्चतो॒ अंह॑सः ॥ (१८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अन्न खाते हुए बालक! तेरे खाने के लिए निश्चित किए गए गेहूं और जौ तेरे लिए सुखकारी एवं शरीर बढ़ाने वाले हों. उपयोग के पश्चात ये गेहूं और जौ तेरे शरीर को विशेष रूप से पीड़ित न करें और तुझे पाप से छुड़ाएं. (१८)
EN English Translation
O child eating food! May the wheat and barley fixed for your food be pleasant and body-enhancing for you. After use, these wheat and barley should not especially afflict your body and redeem you from sin. (18)
यद॒श्नासि॒ यत्पि॑बसि धा॒न्यं कृ॒ष्याः पयः॑ । यदा॒द्यं यद॑ना॒द्यं सर्वं॑ ते॒ अन्न॑मवि॒षं कृ॑णोमि ॥ (१९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे कुमार! तुम जिस प्रकार के अनाज को कठिनता से खाते हो तथा दूध के समान सारवान पिसे हुए धान्य को पीते हो, जो अन्न सुख से खाने योग्य है तथा जो खाने में कठिन है, इन सभी प्रकार के अन्नों को मैं विषहीन बनाता हूं. (१९)
EN English Translation
O Kumar! The kind of grain you eat hard and drink the coarsely ground grain like milk, which is comfortable to eat and which is difficult to eat, I make all these types of food poisonless. (19)
अह्ने॑ च त्वा॒ रात्र॑ये चो॒भाभ्यां॒ परि॑ दद्मसि । अ॒राये॑भ्यो जिघ॒त्सुभ्य॑ इ॒मं मे॒ परि॑ रक्षत ॥ (२०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे कुमार! मैं रक्षा के निमित्त तुझे दिन और रात अर्थात् दोनों के देवताओं के लिए देता हूं. हे देवताओ! तुम निर्धन के पास से तथा खाने वाले राक्षसों के पास से इस बालक की रक्षा करना. (२०)
EN English Translation
O Kumar! I give you for the sake of protection, that is, for the gods of both day and night. O gods! You must protect this child from the poor and from the demons who eat. (20)
श॒तं ते॒ऽयुतं॑ हाय॒नान्द्वे यु॒गे त्रीणि॑ च॒त्वारि॑ कृण्मः । इ॑न्द्रा॒ग्नी विश्वे॑ दे॒वास्तेऽनु॑ मन्यन्ता॒महृ॑णीयमानाः ॥ (२१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे बालक! मैं तेरी अवस्था के सौ वर्षो को हजार वर्ष, हजार वर्षो को दो युग, दो युगों को तीन युग और तीन युगों को चार युग बनाता हूं. इस प्रकार की प्रार्थना को प्रसिद्ध इंद्र, अग्नि तथा विश्वे देव लज्जा अथवा क्रोध न करते हुए स्वीकार करें. (२१)
EN English Translation
O boy! I make a hundred years of your state a thousand years, a thousand years two ages, two ages three ages and three ages four ages. Accept this type of prayer without the famous Indra, Agni and Vishwe Dev shame or anger. (21)
श॒रदे॑ त्वा हेम॒न्ताय॑ वस॒न्ताय॑ ग्री॒ष्माय॒ परि॑ दद्मसि । व॒र्षाणि॒ तुभ्यं॑ स्यो॒नानि॒ येषु॒ वर्ध॑न्त॒ ओष॑धीः ॥ (२२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे बालक! मैं तुझे शरद ऋतु, हेमंत ऋतु, वसंत ऋतु और ग्रीष्म ऋतु के लिए देता हूं. हे बालक! जिन वर्षा मे भोग के साधन गेहूं, जी आदि बढ़ते हैं, वे वर्ष तेरे लिए सुखकारी हों. (२२)
EN English Translation
O boy! I give you autumn, autumn, spring and summer. O boy! In the rain in which the means of enjoyment, wheat, wheat, etc. increase, those years should be happy for you. (22)
मृ॒त्युरी॑शे द्वि॒पदां॑ मृ॒त्युरी॑शे॒ चतु॑ष्पदाम् । तस्मा॒त्त्वां मृ॒त्योर्गोप॑ते॒रुद्भ॑रामि॒ स मा बि॑भेः ॥ (२३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
देव दो पैरों वाले मनुष्यों और चार पैरों वाले पशुओं के स्वामी हैं. जिस प्रकार ग्वाला पशुओं का स्वामी होता है, उसी प्रकार मृत्यु देव सभी प्राणियों के स्वामी हैं. मैं तेरा मृत्यु से उद्धार करता हूं. तू भयभीत न हो. (२३)
EN English Translation
Dev is the master of two-legged humans and four-legged animals. Just as the cowherd is the swami of animals, so the god of death is the swami of all beings. I save you from death. Don't be afraid. (23)
सोरि॑ष्ट॒ न म॑रिष्यसि॒ न म॑रिष्यसि॒ मा बि॑भेः । न वै तत्र॑ म्रियन्ते॒ नो य॑न्ति अध॒मं तमः॑ ॥ (२४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मृत्यु देव से विमुख अर्थात् मृत्यु की हिंसा से रहित पुरुष! तू मरेगा नहीं. तू मरेगा नहीं, इसीलिए भय मत कर. जिस स्थान में शांति कर्म किया जाता है, वहां के लोग प्राण त्याग नहीं करते हैं तथा असहनीय मूर्च्छा को भी प्राप्त नहीं करते. (२४)
EN English Translation
O man alienated from the God of death, that is, a man without the violence of death! You won't die. You won't die, so don't be afraid. In the place where peace work is done, the people there do not give up their lives and do not achieve unbearable fainting. (24)
सर्वो॒ वै तत्र॑ जीवति॒ गौरश्वः॒ पुरु॑षः प॒शुः । यत्रे॒दं ब्रह्म॑ क्रि॒यते॑ परि॒धिर्जीव॑नाय॒ कम् ॥ (२५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जहां गाय, घोड़े, पुरुष और पशु सभी जीवित रहते हैं, वहां महाशांति के लिए यज्ञ कर्म एवं राक्षस, पिशाच आदि का निवारण करने वाला कर्म किया जाता है जो जीवन के लिए कल्याणकारी होता है. (२५)
EN English Translation
Where cows, horses, men and animals all survive, yajna karma and demons, vampires etc. are performed for mahashanti, which is beneficial for life. (25)
परि॑ त्वा पातु समा॒नेभ्यो॑ऽभिचा॒रात्सब॑न्धुभ्यः । अम॑म्रिर्भवा॒मृतो॑ऽतिजी॒वो मा ते॑ हासिषु॒रस॑वः॒ शरी॑रम् ॥ (२६)

हे शांति चाहने वाले पुरुष! मेरे द्वारा किया गया शांति कर्म सभी ओर से तेरा पालन करे. यह तुझे विद्या एवं ऐश्वर्य में समान अन्य मनुष्यों और संबंधियों द्वारा किए हुए जादूटोने से बचाए. तेरी मृत्यु न हो और तू अत्यधिक जीवन प्राप्त करे. प्राण तेरे शरीर का त्याग न करें. (२६)
EN English Translation
O man who wants peace! May the peace deeds done by me follow you from all sides. May it save you from witchcraft by other human beings and relatives, similar in knowledge and opulence. May you not die and have much life. Do not give up your body. (26)
ये मृ॒त्यव॒ एक॑शतं॒ या ना॒ष्ट्रा अ॑तिता॒र्याः । मु॒ञ्चन्तु॒ तस्मा॒त्त्वां दे॒वा अ॒ग्नेर्वै॑श्वान॒रादधि॑ ॥ (२७)

यमराज के जो प्रसिद्ध आयुध ज्वर, सिरदर्द आदि सौ संख्या में हैं और जो लोगों का नाश करने वाले हैं, उन से बचना कठिन है. अग्नि और वैश्वानर आदि देव तुझे उन सब से बचाएं. (२७)
EN English Translation
It is difficult to avoid the famous ordnance fever, headache, etc. of Yamraj and which are going to destroy people. May agni and vaishvanar adi dev save you from all of them. (27)
अ॒ग्नेः शरी॑रमसि पारयि॒ष्णु र॑क्षो॒हासि॑ सपत्न॒हा । अथो॑ अमीव॒चात॑नः पू॒तुद्रु॒र्नाम॑ भेष॒जम् ॥ (२८)

हे पूतद्रु नामक वृक्ष! तू अग्नि से व्याप्त शरीर वाला है. तू राक्षसों और शत्रुओं का विनाशक है तथा रोग को बाहर निकालने वाला है. (२८)

O tree called Putadru! You are a body full of agni. You are the destroyer of demons and enemies and the one who brings out disease. (28)
