इन्द्रा॑सोमा॒ तप॑तं॒ रक्ष॑ उ॒ब्जतं॒ न्यर्पयतं वृषणा तमो॒वृधः॑ । परा॑ शृणीतम॒चितो॒ न्योषतं ह॒तं नु॒देथां॒ नि शि॑शीतम॒त्त्रिणः॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र और सोम! राक्षसों को संतप्त करो तथा मार डालो. हे अभिलाषाएं पूर्ण करने वालो! अंधकार में बढ़ने वाले ज्ञानहीन राक्षसों को निम्न गति प्रदान करो तथा अत्यधिक जलाओ. मनुष्यों का भक्षण करने वाले राक्षसों को मारो तथा मारे हुए राक्षसों को हम से दूर ले जाओ. इस प्रकार उन की संख्या कम करो. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra and Soma! Kill and kill the demons. Those who fulfill your desires! Give low speed and excessive burn to the knowledgeless demons growing in darkness. Kill the demons who eat humans and take the slain demons away from us. Thus reduce the number of them. (1)
इन्द्रा॑सोमा॒ सम॒घशं॑सम॒भ्यघं तपु॑र्ययस्तु च॒रुर॑ग्नि॒माँ इ॑व । ब्र॑ह्म॒द्विषे॑ क्र॒व्यादे॑ घो॒रच॑क्षसे॒ द्वेषो॑ धत्तमनवा॒यं कि॑मीदिने ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र और सोम! अनर्थ बोलने वाले एवं पापी राक्षस को पराजित करो. वह राक्षस संताप को प्राप्त हो तथा अग्नि में डाले गए अन्न के समान जल जाए. तुम दोनों ब्राह्मणों से द्वेष करने वाले मांसाहारी एवं अब किसे, अब किसे खाऊं कहते हुए राक्षस के पीछे द्वेष और विरोध धारण करो. (२)
EN English Translation
O Indra and Soma! Defeat the evil-speaking and sinful monster. That demon should get angry and burn like food poured in the agni. You two brahmins who hate non-vegetarians and now whom to eat, now whom to eat, and wear hatred and opposition behind the demon. (2)
इन्द्रा॑सोमा दु॒ष्कृतो॑ व॒व्रे अ॒न्तर॑नारम्भ॒णे तम॑सि॒ प्र वि॑ध्यतम् । यतो॒ नैषां॒ पुन॒रेक॑श्च॒नोदय॒त्तद्वा॑मस्तु॒ सह॑से मन्यु॒मच्छवः॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र और सोम! तुम दुष्कर्म करने वाले राक्षसों को ढकने वाले तथा बिना सहारे वाले अंधकार में धकेलो, जिस से अंधकार में पड़े हुए राक्षसों में से एक भी बाहर न आ सके. तुम दोनों का यह बल राक्षसों को हराने के लिए क्रोध युक्त हो. (३)
EN English Translation
O Indra and Soma! You push the evil demons into darkness covering and without support, so that not a single one of the demons lying in darkness can come out. This force of both of you to defeat the demons is angry. (3)
इन्द्रा॑सोमा व॒र्तय॑तं दि॒वो व॒धं सं पृ॑थि॒व्या अ॒घशं॑साय॒ तर्ह॑णम् । उत्त॑क्षतं स्व॒र्यं पर्व॑तेभ्यो॒ येन॒ रक्षो॑ वावृधा॒नं नि॒जूर्व॑थः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र एवं सोम! अंतरिक्ष से वध का साधन आयुध एक बार ही चलाओ. पाप की बातें करने वाले राक्षसों के वध के लिए अपना आयुध पृथ्वी से भी एक बार ही चलाओ. उन के वध के लिए अपने हिंसक वज्र को तेज करो तथा शब्द करते हुए जिस आयुध वज्र से तुम ने मेघों से जल प्राप्त किया है, उस से राक्षसों का वध करो. (४)
EN English Translation
O Indra and Soma! Run the means of slaughter from space ordnance only once. Run your armament from the earth even once to kill the demons who talk about sin. To kill them, intensify your violent thunderbolt and kill the demons with the weapon thunderbolt with which you have received water from the clouds. (4)
इन्द्रा॑सोमा व॒र्तय॑तं दि॒वस्पर्य॑ग्नित॒प्तेभि॑र्यु॒वमश्म॑हन्मभिः । तपु॑र्वधेभिर॒जरे॑भिर॒त्त्रिणो॒ नि पर्शा॑ने विध्यतं॒ यन्तु॑ निस्व॒रम् ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र और सोम! तुम दोनों अग्नि के द्वारा तपाए हुए, फौलाद के बने हुए, संतापकारी एवं पुराने न होने वाले अपने आयुधों को अंतरिक्ष में घुमाओ तथा उन के द्वारा मानवभक्षी राक्षसों को समीपवर्ती प्रदेश में भेज दो, जहां जा कर वे मर जाएं. (५)
EN English Translation
O Indra and Soma! Both of you, heated by agni, made of steel, anguish and old, rotate your weapons in space and send the man-eating demons through them to the nearby region, where they will die. (5)
इन्द्रा॑सोमा॒ परि॑ वां भूतु वि॒श्वत॑ इ॒यं म॒तिः क॒क्ष्याश्वे॑व वाजिना । यां वां॒ होत्रां॑ परिहि॒नोमि॑ मे॒धये॒मा ब्रह्मा॑णि नृ॒पती॑ इव जिन्वतम् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र तथा सोम! तुम दोनों हमारे द्वारा की गई स्तुति को उसी प्रकार सब ओर से स्वीकार करो, जिस प्रकार रस्सी शक्तिशाली घोड़ों को बांध लेती है. हम आह्वान के योग्य बुद्धि से तुम दोनों को प्रेरित करते हैं. हमारे मंत्र तुम्हें उसी प्रकार प्रसन्न करें, जिस प्रकार राजा चारणों के वचन सुन कर प्रसन्न होते हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
O Indra and Soma! Both of you accept the praise made by us from all sides, just as the rope binds powerful horses. We inspire both of you with wisdom worthy of invocation. May our mantras please you in the same way that kings are happy to hear the words of charans. (6)
प्रति॑ स्मरेथां तु॒जय॑द्भि॒रेवै॑र्ह॒तं द्रु॒हो र॒क्षसो॑ भङ्गु॒राव॑तः । इन्द्रा॑सोमा दु॒ष्कृते॒ मा सु॒गं भू॒द्यो मा॑ क॒दा चि॑दभि॒दास॑ति द्रु॒हुः ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र एवं सोम! तुम दोनों शक्तिशाली एवं गमन के साधन अश्चों के द्वारा हमारा स्मरण करते हुए आओ तथा आ कर हम से द्रोह करने वाले और विनाशकारी राक्षसों की हिंसा करो. हे इंद्र एवं सोम! बुरे कर्म करने वाले राक्षस को सुख न मिले. जो दुष्ट एक बार भी मुझे बाधा पहुंचाए, उसे तुम दुःख दो. (७)
EN English Translation
O Indra and Soma! Both of you come remembering us through the powerful and the means of traveling, and come and do violence against the demons who are hostile to us and destructive. O Indra and Soma! The demon who does bad deeds should not get happiness. Let the wicked one who hinders me even once, give him sorrow. (7)
यो मा॒ पाके॑न॒ मन॑सा॒ चर॑न्तमभि॒चष्टे॒ अनृ॑तेभि॒र्वचो॑भिः । आप॑ इव काशिना॒ संगृभीता॒ अस॑न्न॒स्त्वास॑त इन्द्र व॒क्ता ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! जो राक्षस सच्चे मन से कार्य करने वाले मुझ ब्राह्मण को शाप देता है और मुझ से असत्य वचन बोलता है, उस की बात अंजलि से निकल जाने वाले जल के समान सारहीन है. असत्य बोलने वाला वह स्वयं ही शून्य हो जाए अर्थात् नष्ट हो जाए. (८)
EN English Translation
O Indra! The demon who curses me, the Brahmin who works with a true heart and speaks untrue words to me, is as immaterial as the water coming out of Anjali. He who speaks untruth should himself become void, that is, he should be destroyed. (8)
ये पा॑कशं॒सं वि॒हर॑न्त॒ एवै॒र्ये वा॑ भ॒द्रं दू॒षय॑न्ति स्व॒धाभिः॑ । अह॑ये वा॒ तान्प्र॒ददा॑तु॒ सोम॒ आ वा॑ दधातु॒ निरृ॑तेरु॒पस्थे॑ ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो राक्षस मुझ सत्यवादी की इच्छानुसार निंदा करते हैं और जो राक्षस मुझ कल्याणकारी के यज्ञ कर्म को अन्नों के द्वारा दूषित करते हैं-इन दोनों प्रकार के राक्षसों को सोमदेव सर्प के लिए दे दें अथवा पाप देवता निर्त्ति की गोद में बैठा दें. (९)
EN English Translation
The demons who condemn me according to the will of the truthful and the demons who contaminate the sacrificial deeds of my welfare with food - give these two types of demons to Somdev snake or sit in the lap of sin god Nirti. (9)
यो नो॒ रसं॒ दिप्स॑ति पि॒त्वो अ॑ग्ने॒ अश्वा॑नां॒ गवां॒ यस्त॒नूना॑म् । रि॒पु स्ते॒न स्ते॑य॒कृद्द॒भ्रमे॑तु॒ नि ष ही॑यतां त॒न्वा॒ तना॑ च ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि देव! जो राक्षस हमारे शरीर के सार को नष्ट करना चाहता है तथा जो हमारे घोड़ों, गायों और पुत्र, पौत्र आदि के शरीर के रस को दूषित करना चाहता है, इस प्रकार का श्रु तस्कर और लुटेरा है. वह नष्ट हो जाए. वह अपने शरीर से और अपनी संतान से नष्ट हो जाए. (१०)
EN English Translation
O God of Agni! The demon who wants to destroy the essence of our body and who wants to contaminate the body juices of our horses, cows and sons, grandsons etc., is this type of shrew smuggler and robber. Let it be destroyed. Let him be destroyed by his body and by his offspring. (10)
प॒रः सो अ॑स्तु त॒न्वा॒ तना॑ च ति॒स्रः पृ॑थि॒वीर॒धो अ॑स्तु॒ विश्वाः॑ । प्रति॑ शुष्यतु॒ यशो॑ अस्य देवा॒ यो मा॒ दिवा॒ दिप्स॑ति॒ यश्च॒ नक्त॑म् ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे देवो! वह राक्षस अपने शरीर से और अपने पुत्रों से अलग हो जाए. वह तीनों प्रकार की पृथ्वी के नीचे पहुंचे अर्थात् नरक को प्राप्त हो. उस पापी का अन्न एवं यश नष्ट हो जाए. जो द्वेषकर्ता दिन अथवा रात में मुझे मारना चाहता है, उस का विनाश करो. (११)
EN English Translation
O God! May that demon be separated from his body and from his sons. He reached the bottom of all three types of earth, that is, hell should be attained. Let the food and fame of that sinner be destroyed. Destroy the spiteur who wants to kill me day or night. (11)
सु॑विज्ञा॒नं चि॑कि॒तुषे॒ जना॑य॒ सच्चास॑च्च॒ वच॑सी पस्पृधाते । तस्यो॒र्यत्स॒त्यं य॑त॒रदृजी॑य॒स्तदित्सोमो॑ऽवति॒ हन्त्यास॑त् ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
विद्वान् को सत्य और असत्य वचन जानना सरल होता है. सत्य और असत्य वचन परस्पर विरुद्ध होते हैं. इन सत्य और असत्य वचनों में जो यथार्थ है और जो सरल है, सोमदेव उस की रक्षा करते हैं तथा असत्य वचन का विनाश करते हैं. (१२)
EN English Translation
It is easy for the scholar to know the truth and false words. True and false words are contradictory. In these true and false words, what is real and what is simple, Somdev protects it and destroys the untruth word. (12)
न वा उ॒ सोमो॑ वृजि॒नं हि॑नोति॒ न क्ष॒त्रियं॑ मिथु॒या धा॒रय॑न्तम् । हन्ति॒ रक्षो॒ हन्त्यास॒द्वद॑न्तमु॒भाविन्द्र॑स्य॒ प्रसि॑तौ शयाते ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सोमदेव पापी राक्षस को जीवित रहने के लिए नहीं छोड़ते हैं. असत्य को धारण करने वाले पापी राक्षस को भी सोमदेव जीवित रहने के लिए नहीं छोड़ते हैं. सोमदेव राक्षस का विनाश करते हैं और असत्यवादी का भी विनाश करते हैं. ये दोनों इंद्र के पाश में बंध जाते हैं. (१३)
EN English Translation
Somdev does not leave the sinful monster to survive. Somdev also does not leave the sinful demon who holds the untruth to survive. Somdev destroys the demon and also destroys the untruthful. Both of them are tied in Indra's loop. (13)
यदि॑ वा॒हमनृ॑तदेवो॒ अस्मि॒ मोघं॑ वा दे॒वाँ अ॑प्यू॒हे अ॑ग्ने । किम॒स्मभ्यं॑ जातवेदो हृणीषे द्रोघ॒वाच॑स्ते निरृ॒थं स॑चन्ताम् ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि देव! न तो मैं देवों की निंदा करने वाला हूं तथा न मैं स्तुति योग्य देवों के प्रति व्यर्थ धारण करता हूं. हे जातवेद अग्नि देव! फिर मुझ पर तुम क्रोध क्यों करते हो? मुझ से अतिरिक्त जो देव विरोधी राक्षस हैं, वे नाश को प्राप्त हों. (१४)
EN English Translation
O God of Agni! Neither am I the one who condemns the gods, nor do I be vain to the praiseworthy gods. O Jataveda Agni Dev! Then why are you angry with me? Apart from me, those who are anti-God demons should be destroyed. (14)
अ॒द्या मु॑रीय॒ यदि॑ यातु॒धानो॒ अस्मि॒ यदि॒ वायु॑स्त॒तप॒ पूरु॑षस्य । अधा॒ स वी॒रैर्द॒शभि॒र्वि यू॑या॒ यो मा॒ मोघं॒ यातु॑धा॒नेत्याह॑ ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मिथ्या आरोप लगाने वाले पुरुष! मैं यदि दूसरों को पीड़ा पहुंचाने वाला हूं अथवा मैं ने किसी पुरुष के जीवन की हिंसा की है तो मैं इसी दिन मर जाऊं. तुम ने मुझे व्यर्थ ही राक्षस कहा है. ऐसे तुम अपने दसों वीर पुत्रों से बिछुड़ जाओ. (१५)
EN English Translation
O man who makes false accusations! If I am going to hurt others or if I have done violence in a man's life, then I will die on this day. You have called me a monster in vain. In this way, you should be separated from your ten brave sons. (15)
यो माया॑तुं॒ यातु॑धाने॒त्याह॒ यो वा॑ र॒क्षाः शुचि॑र॒स्मीत्याह॑ । इन्द्र॒स्तं ह॑न्तु मह॒ता व॒धेन॒ विश्व॑स्य ज॒न्तोर॑ध॒मस्प॑दीष्ट ॥ (१६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जिस मिथ्या आरोप लगाने वाले ने मुझ अराक्षस को राक्षस कहा है, अथवा जिस ने राक्षस होते हुए भी अपनेआप को शुद्ध बताया है-इन दोनों असत्यवादियों को इंद्र देव अपने वध साधन वज्र के द्वारा मारं. ये दोनों प्रकार के जन संसार के सभी प्राणियों से अधम हो कर नष्ट हों. (१६)
EN English Translation
The one who has called me a demon, or who has described himself as pure despite being a demon - indra dev should kill these two untruthists with his slaughter instrument Vajra. These two types of people should be destroyed by all the creatures of the world. (16)
प्र या जिगा॑ति ख॒र्गले॑व॒ नक्त॒मप॑ द्रु॒हुस्त॒न्वं गूह॑माना । व॒व्रम॑न॒न्तमव॒ सा प॑दीष्ट॒ ग्रावा॑णो घ्नन्तु र॒क्षस॑ उप॒ब्दैः ॥ (१७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो राक्षसी उलूकी के समान हमें मारने को आती है तथा जो द्रोह करने वाली राक्षसी अपने शरीर को छिपाती हुई आती है, वह दुष्ट राक्षसी अंतहीन गड्ढे में नीचे मुंह किए हुए गिरे. सोमलता को पीसने वाले पत्थर अपनी ध्वनियों से राक्षसों का विनाश करें. (१७)

The demon who comes to kill us like a demon, and the demon who comes hiding her body, that evil demon fell face down in the endless pit. Grind somalata stones destroy monsters with their sounds. (17)
वि ति॑ष्ठध्वं मरुतो वि॒क्ष्वि॒च्छत॑ गृभा॒यत॑ र॒क्षसः॒ सं पि॑नष्टन् । वयो॒ ये भू॒त्वा प॒तय॑न्ति न॒क्तभि॒र्ये वा॒ रिपो॑ दधि॒रे दे॒वे अ॑ध्व॒रे ॥ (१८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मरुतो! तुम सब प्रजाओं के मध्य अनेक प्रकार से स्थित रहो तथा राक्षसों का विनाश करने की इच्छा करो. तुम पकड़े हुए राक्षसों को भलीभांति चूर्ण कर दो. जो राक्षस पक्षी बन कर रात में घूमते हैं अथवा जो देव संबंधी यज्ञों में हिंसा करते हों, उन राक्षसों का विनाश करो. (१८)
EN English Translation
O Maruto! Be situated among all of you people in many ways and desire to destroy the demons. You powder the captured demons well. Destroy the demons who roam around at night as birds or who do violence in god-related sacrifices. (18)
प्र व॑र्तय दि॒वोऽश्मा॑नमिन्द्र॒ सोम॑शितं मघव॒न्त्सं शि॑शाधि । प्रा॒क्तो अ॑पा॒क्तो अ॑ध॒रादु॑द॒क्तो॒भि ज॑हि र॒क्षसः॒ पर्व॑तेन ॥ (१९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! अंतरिक्ष से अपना वज्र नीचे गिराओ. उस वज्र को तुम ऐसा तेज करो, जैसा सोमदेव ने किया था. तुम उस तेज किए हुए वज्र से पूर्व, पश्चिम, उत्तर एवं दक्षिण सभी दिशाओं में राक्षसों का विनाश करो. (१९)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Drop your thunderbolt down from space. Make that thunderbolt as sharp as Somdev did. You destroy the demons in all directions east, west, north and south with that sharp thunderbolt. (19)
ए॒त उ॒ त्ये प॑तयन्ति॒ श्वया॑तव॒ इन्द्रं॑ दिप्सन्ति दि॒प्सवोऽदा॑भ्यम् । शिशी॑ते श॒क्रः पिशु॑नेभ्यो व॒धं नू॒नं सृ॑जद॒शनिं॑ यातु॒मद्भ्यः॑ ॥ (२०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इस प्रकार के जो राक्षस कुत्तों के समान खाते हुए घूमते हैं और आ कर हिंसा की इच्छा करते हुए अपराजित इंद्र की हिंसा करना चाहते हैं, इंद्र उन राक्षसों का वध करने के लिए अपना वज्र तेज करते हैं. वे इंद्र हिंसक राक्षसों के निमित्त निश्चय ही अपना वज्र तैयार करें. (२०)

Such demons who roam around eating like dogs and want to come and do violence to undefeated Indra, wanting violence, Indra sharpens his thunderbolt to kill those demons. He must prepare his thunderbolt for indra violent demons. (20)
इन्द्रो॑ यातू॒नाम॑भवत्पराश॒रो ह॑वि॒र्मथी॑नाम॒भ्या॒विवा॑सताम् । अ॒भीदु॑ श॒क्रः प॑र॒शुर्यथा॒ वनं॒ पात्रे॑व भि॒न्दन्त्स॒त ए॑तु र॒क्षसः॑ ॥ (२१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र देवों के निमित्त दिए गए हवि को चुराने वाले तथा विरोधी गतिविधि करने वाले राक्षसों का विनाश करें. इंद्र राक्षसों को मारने के लिए इस प्रकार आक्रमण करें, जिस प्रकार कुल्हाड़ी वृक्षों को काटने के लिए उठती है. प्राप्त होने वाले राक्षसों को इंद्र देव मिट्टी के बरतनों के समान काटते हुए आएं. (२१)
EN English Translation
Destroy the demons who steal the havi given for Indra Devas and do opposing activities. Indra should attack to kill the demons, just as the axe rises to cut trees. Indra Dev should cut the demons received like earthen pots. (21)
उलू॑कयातुं शुशु॒लूक॑यातुं ज॒हि श्वया॑तुमु॒त कोक॑यातुम् । सु॑प॒र्णया॑तुमु॒त गृध्र॑यातुं दृ॒षदे॑व॒ प्र मृ॑ण॒ रक्ष॑ इन्द्र ॥ (२२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! जो राक्षस परिवारों के साथ आते हैं, जो अकेले आते हैं, जो कुत्तों, चकवों, गरुड़ एवं गिद्ध के समान आक्रमण करते हैं, उन का विनाश करो. जिस प्रकार पत्थर से मिट्टी का पात्र तोड़ा जाता है, उसी प्रकार अनेक आकारों में वर्तमान राक्षसों को मारो. (२२)

O Indra! Destroy the demons who come with families, who come alone, who attack like dogs, chakvas, garudas and vultures. Just as the earthen pot is broken with stone, kill the present demons in many shapes. (22)
मा नो॒ रक्षो॑ अ॒भि न॑ड्यातु॒माव॒दपो॑च्छन्तु मिथु॒ना ये कि॑मी॒दिनः॑ । पृ॑थि॒वी नः॒ पार्थि॑वात्पा॒त्वंह॑सो॒ऽन्तरि॑क्षं दि॒व्यात्पा॑त्व॒स्मान् ॥ (२३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हमें हिंसक राक्षस जाति प्राप्त न करे. अब किसे खाएं, अब किसे खाएं- ऐसा कहते हुए जो राक्षस जोड़े अर्थात् स्त्रीपुरुष घूमते हैं, वे दूर चले जाएं. पृथ्वी माता हमें राक्षस, पिशाच आदि द्वारा किए गए पाप से बचाएं. (२३)

Don't get us violent monster jati. Now whom to eat, who to eat now - saying that the demon couples i.e. women men roam, they should go away. May Mother Earth save us from the sin committed by demons, vampires etc. (23)
इन्द्र॑ ज॒हि पुमां॑सं यातु॒धान॑मु॒त स्त्रियं॑ मा॒यया॒ शाश॑दानाम् । विग्री॑वासो॒ मूर॑देवा ऋदन्तु॒ मा ते दृ॑श॒न्त्सूर्य॑मु॒च्चर॑न्तम् ॥ (२४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम पुरुष रूपधारी राक्षस का वध करो तथा दूसरों को माया के द्वारा हिंसित करने वाली स्त्री रूप धारिणी राक्षसी का वध करो. मृत्यु जिन के लिए खेल है, ऐसे राक्षसो की गरदनें कट जाएं और वे मर जाएं. वे उदय होते हुए सूर्य को न देखें. (२४)

O Indra! You kill the male form-bearing demon and kill the female form of the demon who dominates others through Maya. For whom death is a game, the necks of such demons should be cut off and they die. They should not see the rising sun. (24)
प्रति॑ चक्ष्व॒ वि च॒क्ष्वेन्द्र॑श्च सोम जागृतम् । रक्षो॑भ्यो व॒धम॑स्यतम॒शनिं॑ यातु॒मद्भ्यः॑ ॥ (२५)

हे इंद्र एवं सोम! तुम प्रत्येक राक्षस को अपने प्रतिकूल देखो तथा विविध राक्षसों को अपने विपरीत समझो. तुम दोनों हमारी रक्षा के लिए जाग्रत रहो और हिंसक राक्षसों के वध के लिए अपना आयुध वज्र चलाओ. (२५)
EN English Translation
O Indra and Soma! You look at each demon as your adversary and consider the various demons as your opposites. You both stay awake to protect us and run your armament thunderbolt to kill violent demons. (25)
