सना च सोम जेषि च पवमान महि श्रवः । अथा नो वस्यसस्कृधि ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप पवित्र हैं. आप बहुत उपासना के योग्य हैं. आप देवताओं के पास जाइए. आप शत्रुओं को जीतने के बाद हमें यशस्वी बनाने की कृपा कीजिए. (१)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are holy. You deserve a lot of worship. You go to the gods. Please make us successful after conquering your enemies. (1)
सना ज्योतिः सना स्वा३र्विश्वा च सोम सौभगा । अथा नो वस्यसस्कृधि ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप हमें ज्योतिर्मय बनाइए. आप हमें स्वर्गिक सुख दीजिए. आप हमें सौभाग्यवान एवं शत्रुविजय के बाद यशस्वी बनाइए. (२)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You make us luminous. May you give us heavenly happiness. You make us fortunate and successful after enemy victory. (2)
सना दक्षमुत क्रतुमप सोम मृधो जहि । अथा नो वस्यसस्कृधि ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप हमें बलवान व कर्तव्यपरायण बनाइए. शत्रुनाश कर के आप हमें सुखी बनाइए. (३)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You make us strong and dutiful. Destroy enemies and make us happy. (3)
पवीतारः पुनीतन सोममिन्द्राय पातवे । अथा नो वस्यसस्कृधि ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यजमानो! आप सोम को पवित्र करने वाले हैं. आप इंद्र के पीने के लिए सोमरस पवित्र कीजिए और हमारा कल्याण करने की कृपा कीजिए. (४)
EN English Translation
O hosts! You are going to sanctify Som. You sanctify Someras for Indra to drink and please do us welfare. (4)
त्वँ सूर्ये न आ भज तव क्रत्वा तवोतिभिः । अथा नो वस्यसस्कृधि ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप अपने रक्षा साधनों से हमें सूर्य को भजने के लिए प्रेरित कीजिए. आप हमारा हित साधने की कृपा कीजिए. (५)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You inspire us to worship the sun with your defense tools. Please serve our interest. (5)
तव क्रत्वा तवोतिभिर्ज्योक्पश्येम सूर्यम् । अथा नो वस्यसस्कृधि ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप के रक्षा साधनों और ज्ञान से हम दीर्घ काल तक सूर्य के दर्शन करने में समर्थ हो सकें. आप हमें दीर्घायु प्रदान करने की कृपा कीजिए. (६)
EN English Translation
O Mon! With your defense tools and knowledge, we can be able to see the sun for a long time. Please give us long life. (6)
अभ्यर्ष स्वायुध सोम द्विबर्हसँ रयिम् । अथा नो वस्यसस्कृधि ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप आयुधधारी हैं. आप हमें इहलौकिक और पारलौकिक धन व सुख देने की कृपा कीजिए. (७)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are an armamentary. Please give us spiritual and transcendental wealth and happiness. (7)
अभ्या३र्षानपच्युतो वाजिन्त्समत्सु सासहिः । अथा नो वस्यसस्कृधि ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप युद्ध क्षेत्र में विजयी होते हैं. आप शत्रुओं को हराने वाले हैं. आप द्रोणकलश में चूने (टपकने) और हमारा कल्याण करने की कृपा कीजिए. (८)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You emerge victorious in a war zone. You are going to defeat enemies. Please do lime (dripping) in Dronakalsh and do us welfare. (8)
त्वां यज्ञैरवीवृधन्पवमान विधर्मणि । अथा नो वस्यसस्कृधि ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप पवित्र हैं. आप यज्ञ में फलदाता हैं. यजमान स्तुतियों से आप की बढ़ोतरी करते हैं. आप हमारी बढ़ोतरी करने की कृपा कीजिए. (९)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are holy. You are the giver of fruits in the yajna. Hosts enhance you with praises. Please increase us. (9)
रयिं नश्चित्रमश्विनमिन्दो विश्वायुमा भर । अथा नो वस्यसस्कृधि ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप हमें अदभुत घोड़े देने व सब के लिए कल्याणकारी धन देने की कृपा कीजिए. हमें सुख दीजिए. (१०)
EN English Translation
O Mon! Please give us wonderful horses and welfare money for all. Give us happiness. (10)
तरत्स मन्दी धावति धारा सुतस्यान्धसः । तरत्स मन्दी धावति ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप मददायी व पोषक हैं. आप की धारा छलनी में छनती है. आप की धाराएं वेग से बहती हैं. (११)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are helpful and nutritious. The stream of you filters into the sieve. Your currents flow at a velocity. (11)
उस्रा वेद वसूनां मर्त्तस्य देव्यवसः । तरत्स मन्दी धावति ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप सभी वैभवों के स्वामी व दिव्य हैं. आप मनुष्यों (यजमानों) के संरक्षक हैं. आप के रस की धाराएं वेग से बहती हैं. (१२)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are the swami of all splendour and divine. You are the protector of human beings (hosts). The streams of your juice flow at a velocity. (12)
ध्वस्रयोः पुरुषन्त्योरा सहस्राणि दद्महे । तरत्स मन्दी धावति ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप ध्वस्र और पुरुषंति नाम के दुष्ट राजाओं का वैभव हमें देने की कृपा कीजिए. आप की धाराएं वेग से बहती हैं. (१३)
EN English Translation
O Mon! Please give us the glory of evil kings named Dhruva and Purushanti. Your currents flow at a velocity. (13)
आ ययोस्त्रिँशतं तना सहस्राणि च दद्महे । तरत्स मन्दी धावति ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप ध्वस्र और पुरुषंति के तीन सौ और तीन हजार वस्त्र हमें देने की कृपा कीजिए. आप की धाराएं वेग से बहती हैं. (१४)
EN English Translation
O Mon! Please give us three hundred and three thousand clothes of dust and masculinity. Your currents flow at a velocity. (14)
एते सोमा असृक्षत गृणानाः शवसे महे । मदिन्तमस्य धारया ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सोमरस की मददायी धाराओं के साथ ये सोम द्रोणकलश में छन रहे हैं. ये महान और कल्याणकारी हैं. (१५)
EN English Translation
With the mad streams of Somers, these Soms are filtering in Dronakalash. They are great and welfare. (15)
अभि गव्यानि वीतये नृम्णा पुनानो अर्षसि । सनद्वाजः परि स्रव ॥ (१६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप मनुष्यों को सुख देते हैं. देवता आप का सेवन करते हैं. इसीलिए आप को गौ दूध में मिलाया जाता है. आप अन्न प्रदान करते हुए कलश में ख्रवित होते (झरते) हैं. (१६)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You give happiness to human beings. God consumes you. That is why you are mixed in cow milk. You are saved (falling) in the kalash while providing food. (16)
उत नो गोमतीरिषो विश्वा अर्ष परिष्टुभः । गृणानो जमदग्निना ॥ (१७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप की जमदग्नि (ऋषि) ने स्तुति की. आप गौओं के साथ ही हमें श्रेष्ठ बुद्धि और श्रेष्ठ अन्न प्रदान करने की कृपा कीजिए. (१७)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You were praised by Jamdagni (sage). Please give us the best intelligence and best food along with the cows. (17)
