यदिन्द्राहं यथा त्वमीशीय वस्व एक इत् । स्तोता मे गोसखा स्यात् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप धन के एकमात्र ईश्वर हैं. हम भी आप जैसे हो जाएं तो हमारे उपासक गायों के साथ हमारी प्रशंसा करेंगे. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are the only God of wealth. If we also become like you, our worshippers will praise us along with cows. (1)
शिक्षेयमस्मै दित्सेयँ शचीपते मनीषिणे । यदहं गोपतिः स्याम् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शचीपति (इंद्र)! यदि हम गोपति हो जाएं तो अपने इन मनीषी उपासकों को धन देने की इच्छा करें और उन्हें धन भी दें. (२)
EN English Translation
This is Shachipati (Indra)! If we become gopatis, then wish to give money to these mystic worshipers of yours and also give them money. (2)
धेनुष्ट इन्द्र सूनृता यजमानाय सुन्वते । गामश्वं पिप्युषी दुहे ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप अपने पुत्र यजमानों को इष्ट पदार्थ गाय, घोड़े आदि प्रदान करने की कृपा कीजिए. (३)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Please provide favorite substances like cows, horses etc. to your son hosts. (3)
आपो हि ष्ठा मयोभुवस्ता न ऊर्जे दधातन । महे रणाय चक्षसे ॥ (४)

हे जल! आप ऊर्जा धारक व सुखदायी हैं. आप हमें संग्राम के लिए बल प्रदान करने की कृपा कीजिए. (४)
EN English Translation
O water! You are energy holder and happy. Please give us strength for the struggle. (4)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे जल! मां जैसे बालक को दूध (रस) से पोसती है, उसी तरह आप अपने कल्याणकारी रस से हमें पोसने की कृपा कीजिए. (५)
EN English Translation
O water! Just as a mother nurtures the child with milk (juice), please nurture us with your welfare juice. (5)
तस्मा अरं गमाम वो यस्य क्षयाय जिन्वथ । आपो जनयथा च नः ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे जल! आप हमें पुत्रपौत्र सहित क्षयकारी रोगों को जीतने की शक्ति उपजाने की कृपा कीजिए. (६)
EN English Translation
O water! Please give us the power to conquer decaying diseases, including sons and grandsons. (6)
वात आ वातु बेषजँ शम्भु मयोभु नो हृदे । प्र न अयूँषि तारिषत् ॥ (७)

हे वायु! आप पधारिए. आप हमारे हृदय को खिलाइए (खुश रखिए). आप हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी ओषधियां ले कर आइए. आप हमें दीर्घायु प्रदान कीजिए. (७)
EN English Translation
O wind! You come. You feed our hearts (keep us happy). You bring us welfare medicines. You give us longevity. (7)
उत वात पितासि न उत भ्रातोत नः सखा । स नो जीवातवे कृधि ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वायु! आप के सिवाय कोई हमारा पिता, भाई व मित्र नहीं है. आप हमारे जीवन को सामर्थ्यवान बनाने की कृपा कीजिए. (८)
EN English Translation
O wind! There is no one our father, brother and friend except you. Please make our lives powerful. (8)
यददो वात ते गृहे३ऽमृतं निहितं गुहा । तस्यो नो देहि जीवसे ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वायु! आप के पास गुप्त रूप से अमृत है. आप हमें जीने के लिए छिपा कर रखा हुआ वह गुप्त अमृत प्रदान करने की कृपा कीजिए. (९)
EN English Translation
O wind! You secretly have nectar. Please give us that secret elixir hidden for living. (9)
अभि वाजी विश्वरूपो जनित्रँ हिरण्ययं बिभ्रदत्कँ सुपर्णः । सूर्यस्य भानुमृतुथा वसानः परि स्वयं मेधमृज्रो जजान ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप विश्वरूप व सुपर्ण (गरुड़) जैसे वेगवान हैं. आप उत्पत्ति स्थान (यज्ञवेदी) को सोने सा चमका देते हैं. आप ऋतु के अनुकूल सूर्य व मेघ को धारण करते हैं. (१०)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are as fast as Vishwaroop and Suparna (Garuda). You make the place of origin (yajnavedi) shine like gold. You wear the sun and cloud according to the season. (10)
अप्सु रेतः शिश्रिये विश्वरूपं तेजः पृथिव्यामधि यत्सम्बभूव । अन्तरिक्षे स्वं महिमानं मिमानः कनिक्रन्ति वृष्णो अश्वस्य रेतः ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप का वीर्य घोड़े के वीर्य की तरह है, विश्वरूप है, तेजोमय है, जल में (बादल रूप में) आश्रय पाता है, पृथ्वी पर जीवन शक्ति के रूप में है. अंतरिक्ष में अपनी व्यापक महिमा को फैलाए हुए है. वह सर्वत्र अपनी व्यापकता लिए हुए है. (११)
EN English Translation
O agni! Your semen is like horse semen, is universal, is sharp, finds shelter in water (in cloud form), is as vitality on earth. Spread its wide glory in space. He has his vastness everywhere. (11)
अयँ सहस्रा परि युक्ता वसानः सूर्यस्य भानुं यज्ञो दाधार । सहस्रदाः शतदा भूरिदावा धर्त्ता दिवो भुवनस्य विश्पतिः ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यजमानो! अग्नि हजारों किरणों वाले सूर्य के तेज को धारण करते हैं. वे यज्ञ का मूल आधार है. वे स्वर्गलोक व पृथ्वीलोक को धारण करते हैं. वे सैकड़ोंहजारों प्रकार के ऐश्वर्यदाता व विश्वपति हैं. (१२)
EN English Translation
O hosts! Agni holds the brightness of the sun with thousands of rays. They are the basic basis of yajna. They hold heaven and earth. He is a hundreds of thousands of types of opulence and vishwapati. (12)
नाके सुपर्णमुप यत्पतन्तँ हृदा वेनन्तो अभ्यचक्षत त्वा । हिरण्यपक्षं वरुणस्य दूतं यमस्य योनौ शकुनं भुरण्युम् ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वेन! उपासक आप को हृदय से पाने की इच्छा करते हैं. इस इच्छा से वे ऊपर देखते हैं. तब वे आप को अंतरिक्षलोक में अग्नि (विद्युत् रूपधारी) के पास पाते हैं. आप वरुण के दूत हैं, सोने के पंखों वाले हैं, यम की योनि में हैं व विश्व का भरणपोषण करने वाले हैं. (१३)
EN English Translation
Hey Wayne! Worshippers desire to get you from the heart. With this desire they look up. Then they find you near agni (electric form) in the space world. You are the messenger of Varuna, with gold wings, in yama's vagina and you are the one who feeds the world. (13)
ऊर्ध्वो गन्धर्वो अधि नाके अस्थात्प्रत्यङ्चित्रा बिभ्रदस्यायुधानि । वसानो अत्कँ सुरभिं दृशे कँ स्व३र्ण नाम जनत प्रियाणि ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वेन! आप ऊंचे स्वर्गलोक के पास रहते हैं. आप अद्भुत आयुध धारण कर के सुशोभित होते हैं. आप सूर्य की तरह प्राणियों के लिए जल धारण कर के उसे बरसाते हैं. (१४)
EN English Translation
Hey Wayne! You live near the high heavens. You are adorned by wearing amazing armaments. You wear water for creatures like the sun and shower it. (14)
द्रप्सः समुद्रमभि यज्जिगाति पश्यन्गृध्रस्य चक्षसा विधर्मन् । भानुः शुक्रेण शोचिषा चकानस्तृतीये चक्रे रजसि प्रियाणि ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वेन! जब आप समुद्र के जल को ले कर गिद्ध जैसी दृष्टि से देखते हुए मेघों के पास पहुंचते हैं तब सूर्य की तरह चमकते हुए तीसरे लोक से प्राण जल बरसाते हैं. (१५)
EN English Translation
Hey Wayne! When you take the water of the sea and look at it like a vulture and reach the clouds, then shining like the sun, you rain water from the third world. (15)
