वार्त्र॑हत्याय॒ शव॑से पृतना॒षाह्या॑य च । इन्द्र॒ त्वा व॑र्तयामसि ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हम वृत्र हनन के समान बल प्रदर्शन और शत्रु सेनाओं को अपमानित करने जैसे कर्मो के निमित्त तुम्हें अपने सामने बुलाते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra! We call you before us for acts like showing force like breach of mass and insulting enemy armies. (1)
अ॑र्वा॒चीनं॒ सु ते॒ मन॑ उ॒त चक्षुः॑ शतक्रतो । इन्द्र॑ कृ॒ण्वन्तु॑ वा॒घतः॑ ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अनेक कर्म करने वाले इंद्र! यज्ञ कर्म का निर्वाह करने वाले ऋत्विज् तुम्हें हमारे सामने लाएं. वे तुम्हारी दृष्टि को भी हमारे सामने करें. (२)
EN English Translation
O Indra, who does many things! May the Ritvijas, who perform the yajna karma, bring you before us. They should also make your vision in front of us. (2)
नामा॑नि ते शतक्रतो॒ विश्वा॑भिर्गी॒र्भिरी॑महे । इन्द्रा॑भिमाति॒षाह्ये॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शतक्रतु इंद्र! हम पाप का विनाश करने वाले यज्ञ कर्म में तुम्हारी सभी स्तुतियों की कामना करते हैं. हे इंद्र! तुम संग्राम में शत्रुओं का विनाश करने वाले हो. (३)
EN English Translation
O Hundred and Indra! We wish all your praises in the sacrificial karma that destroys sin. O Indra! You are the destroyer of enemies in the war. (3)
पु॑रुष्टु॒तस्य॒ धाम॑भिः श॒तेन॑ महयामसि । इन्द्र॑स्य चर्षणी॒धृतः॑ ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सैकड़ों स्तोताओं द्वारा पूजा के योग्य, मनुष्यों के रक्षक एवं सैकड़ों प्रकार के तेजों से युक्त इंद्र की हम पूजा करते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
We worship Indra, worthy of worship by hundreds of psalms, the protector of human beings and with hundreds of types of radiance. (4)
इन्द्रं॑ वृ॒त्राय॒ हन्त॑वे पुरुहू॒तमुप॑ ब्रुवे । भरे॑षु॒ वाज॑सातये ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
युद्धभूमि में अनेक योद्धाओं द्वारा विजय पाने के लिए बुलाए गए एवं यजमानों द्वारा अन्न प्राप्ति के लिए बुलाए गए इंद्र की मैं स्तुति करता हूं. (५)
EN English Translation
I praise Indra, who was called to win by many warriors in the battlefield and called by the hosts to get food. (5)
वाजे॑षु सास॒हिर्भ॑व॒ त्वामी॑महे शतक्रतो । इन्द्र॑ वृ॒त्राय॒ हन्त॑वे ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शतक्रतु इंद्र! तुम संग्रामों में शत्रुओं को पराजित करने वाले हो. मैं तुम्हारी स्तुति करता हूं. मैं वृत्र अर्थात् पाप के नाश के लिए तुम्हारी स्तुति करता हूं. (६)
EN English Translation
O Hundred and Indra! You are the one who defeats the enemies in the battles. I praise you. I praise you for the destruction of sin. (6)
द्यु॒म्नेषु॑ पृत॒नाज्ये॑ पृत्सु॒तूर्षु॒ श्रवः॑सु च । इन्द्र॒ साक्ष्वा॒भिमा॑तिषु ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! धन प्राप्ति के लिए युद्ध उपस्थित होने पर, अन्न की प्राप्ति के अवसर पर, पापों और शत्रुओं का नाश करने के निमित्त तुम हमारा सहयोग करो. (७)
EN English Translation
O Indra! When war is present to get wealth, on the occasion of getting food, you should cooperate with us to destroy sins and enemies. (7)
