अ॒ग्नेर्म॑न्वे प्रथ॒मस्य॒ प्रचे॑तसः॒ पाञ्च॑जन्यस्य बहु॒धा यमि॒न्धते॑ । विशो॑विशः प्रविशि॒वांस॑मीमहे॒ स नो॑ मुञ्च॒त्वंह॑सः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मैं मुख्य विशेष ज्ञानी एवं देवयज्ञ, पितृयज्ञ, सूतयज्ञ, मनुष्ययज्ञ और बृहत्यज्ञ नामक पांच यज्ञ करने वाले अग्नि देव का महत्त्व जानता हूं. उन्हें अनेक प्रकार से प्रज्वलित किया जाता है. सभी प्रजाओं में जठराग्नि के रूप में प्रवेश करने वाले अग्नि देव से मैं याचना करता हूं कि वह मुझे पाप से बचाएं. (१)
EN English Translation
I know the importance of agni dev, the chief special jnani and performing five yajnas namely Devyagya, Pitryagya, Sutayagya, Manavyagya and Brihatyagya. They are ignited in many ways. I beg Agni Dev, who enters all the people in the form of agni, to save me from sin. (1)
इन्द्र॑स्य मन्महे॒ शश्व॒दिद॑स्य मन्महे वृत्र॒घ्न स्तोमा॒ उप॑ मे॒म आगुः॑ । यो दा॒शुषः॑ सु॒कृतो॒ हव॒मेति॒ स नो॑ मुञ्च॒त्वंह॑सः ॥ (१)

मैं बारबार इंद्र का महत्त्व स्वीकार करता हूं. वृत्र की हत्या करने वाले इंद्र के ये स्तोत्र मेरे समीप आ कर मुझे स्तोता बनाते हैं. जो इंद्र चरु, पुरोडाश आदि देने वाले एवं उत्तम यज्ञ करने वाले यजमान का आह्वान स्वीकार करते हैं, वह इंद्र मुझे पाप से बचाएं. (१)
EN English Translation
I repeatedly acknowledge the importance of Indra. These hymns of Indra, who killed Vritra, come close to me and make me a stota. Indra, who accepts the call of the host who gives charu, purodash, etc. and performs the best yajna, save me from sin. (1)
वा॒योः स॑वि॒तुर्वि॒दथा॑नि मन्महे॒ यावा॑त्म॒न्वद्वि॒शथो॒ यौ च॒ रक्ष॑थः । यौ विश्व॑स्य परि॒भू ब॑भू॒वथु॒स्तौ नो॑ मुञ्चत॒मंह॑सः ॥ (१)

वायु और सविता के वेदों में वर्णन किए गए कर्मो को मैं जानता हूं. हे वायु एवं सविता देव! तुम दोनों स्थावर और संगम जीवों में प्रवेश करते हो एवं रक्षा करते हो. तुम दोनों विश्व की रक्षा के लिए उत्पन्न हुए हो. तुम दोनों हमें पाप से छुड्ाओ. (१)
EN English Translation
I know the deeds described in the Vedas of Vayu and Savita. O Vayu and Savita Dev! You both enter and protect the real and confluence creatures. You both were born to protect the world. You two redeem us from sin. (1)
म॒न्वे वां॑ द्यावापृथिवी सुभोजसौ॒ सचे॑तसौ॒ ये अप्र॑थेथा॒ममि॑ता॒ योज॑नानि । प्र॑ति॒ष्ठे ह्यभ॑वतं॒ वसू॑नां॒ ते नो॑ मुञ्चत॒मंह॑सः ॥ (१)

हे द्यावा पृथ्वी! तुम दोनों शोभन भोगों वाले एवं समान चित्त वाले हो. मैं तुम्हारी स्तुति करता हूं. तुम दोनों अनंत योजन विस्तार वाले हो. तुम दोनों निवास करने वाले देव मनुष्यों अथवा धनों के उत्तम स्थान बनते हों. तुम दोनों हमें पाप से छुड़ाओ. (१)
EN English Translation
O earth! Both of you are blessed and have the same mind. I praise you. You are both infinite plan extensions. You two dwelling gods become the best places of human beings or wealth. You both redeem us from sin. (1)
म॒रुतां॑ मन्वे॒ अधि॑ मे ब्रुवन्तु॒ प्रेमं वाजं॒ वाज॑साते अवन्तु । आ॒शूनि॑व सु॒यमा॑नह्व ऊ॒तये॒ ते नो॑ मुञ्च॒न्त्वंह॑सः ॥ (१)

मैं उनचास मरुतों का माहात्म्य जानता हूं. वे मरुत मुझे अपना कहें. अन्न के लाभ का अवसर आने पर वे इस अन्न की मेरे लिए रक्षा करें. मैं घोड़ों की लगाम के समान संयमित मरुतों को अपनी रक्षा के लिए बुलाता हूं. वे मुझे पाप से छुड़ाएं. (१)
EN English Translation
I know the importance of forty-nine marutas. They call me their own. When the opportunity comes for the benefit of food, they should protect this grain for me. I call upon restrained maruts to protect themselves, just like the reins of horses. May they rescue me from sin. (1)
भवा॑शर्वौ म॒न्वे वां॒ तस्य॑ वित्तं॒ ययो॑र्वामि॒दं प्र॒दिशि॒ यद्वि॒रोच॑ते । याव॒स्येशा॑थे द्वि॒पदो॒ यौ चतु॑ष्पद॒स्तौ नो॑ मुञ्चत॒मंह॑सः ॥ (१)

हे भव और शर्व! मैं तुम्हारा महत्त्व जानता हूं. मेरे द्वारा कहा जाता हुआ अपना महत्त्व बुम जानो. तुम दोनों के शासन में यह सारा विश्व प्रकाशित होता है. भव और शर्व शत्रुओं को अपने वञ्र से संयुक्त करते हैं, इस समय क्या उत्पन्न हुआ है, ऐसी खोज करने वाले राक्षसों को भी अपने आयुध से मारो. जो भव और शर्व इस विश्व के दो पैरों वाले मनुष्यों और चार पैरों वाले पशुओं के स्वामी हैं, वे हमें पाप से बचाएं. O Bhava and Sharva! I know your importance. Know your importance as I say. Under the rule of both of you, this whole world is illuminated. Bhava and Sharva combine the enemies with their weapons, kill the demons who search for what has arisen at this time with your weapon. May bhava and sharva, the masters of the two-legged men and four-legged animals of this world, save us from sin. (1)
म॒न्वे वां॑ मित्रावरुणावृतावृधौ॒ सचे॑तसौ॒ द्रुह्व॑णो॒ यौ नु॒देथे॑ । प्र स॒त्यावा॑न॒मव॑थो॒ भरे॑षु॒ तौ नो॑ मुञ्चत॒मंह॑सः ॥ (१)

हे ऋत् अर्थात् सत्य, जल अथवा यज्ञ को बढ़ाने वाले एवं समान ज्ञान वाले मित्र और वरुण! मैं तुम दोनों के महत्त्व की स्तुति करता हूं. तुम द्रोह करने वालों का हनन कर देते हो. बुम सत्यप्रतिज्ञ पुरुष की संग्राम में रक्षा करते हो. ऐसे मित्र और वरुण मुझे पाप से बचाएं. (१)
EN English Translation
O Rit means friends and Varuna who enhance truth, water or yajna and have the same knowledge! I appreciate the importance of both of you. You violate those who are hostile. You protect a man who is truthful in the struggle. May such friends and Varun save me from sin. (1)

अंभृण महर्षि की ब्रह्मवादिनी पुत्री वाकू ने स्वयं को ब्रह्म समझ कर स्तुति की है. मैं रुद्रो और वसुओं के साथ संचरण करती हूं. मैं आदित्यों और विश्वे देवों के साथ संचरण करती हूं. मित्र और वरुण को मैं ही धारण करती हूं. इंद्र, अग्नि तथा दोनों अश्चिनीकुमारों को भी मैं ने ही धारण किया है. (१)

Vaku, the daughter of Brahmavadini of Ambhrun Maharshi, has praised herself as Brahma. I communicate with Rudras and Vasus. I communicate with the Adityas and the Gods of the universe. I hold friends and Varun. I have also worn Indra, Agni and both Aschini kumaras. (1)
त्वया॑ मन्यो स॒रथ॑मारु॒जन्तो॒ हर्ष॑माणा हृषि॒तासो॑ मरुत्वन् । ति॒ग्मेष॑व॒ आयु॑धा सं॒शिशा॑ना॒ उप॒ प्र य॑न्तु॒ नरो॑ अ॒ग्निरू॑पाः ॥ (१)

हे क्रोध के अभिमानी देव मन्यु! तेरे द्वारा रथ वाले शत्रु को पीड़ित करते हुए, प्रसन्न एवं क्रोध में भरे, तेज बाणों वाले तथा आयुधों की धार तेज करते हुए हमारे मनुष्य तेरी कृपा से वायु के समान वेग वाले एवं अग्नि के समान अपराजित बन कर शत्रु के पास जाएं. (१)
EN English Translation
O proud God of anger! By Your grace, while suffering the enemy of the chariot, happy and full of anger, with sharp arrows and intensifying the edge of the armaments, our men should by Your grace become as fast as air and undefeated as agni and go to the enemy. (1)
यस्ते॑ म॒न्योऽवि॑धद्वज्र सायक॒ सह॒ ओजः॑ पुष्यति॒ विश्व॑मानु॒षक् । सा॒ह्याम॒ दास॒मार्यं॒ त्वया॑ यु॒जा व॒यं सह॑स्कृतेन॒ सह॑सा॒ सह॑स्वता ॥ (१)

हे मन्यु! जो पुरुष तुम्हारी सेवा करता है, हे वज्र के समान अकुंठित शक्ति वाले एवं शत्रुओं का अंत करने वाले! वह पुरुष नित्य शत्रुओं को पराजित करने वाला अपना बल संपूर्ण रूप से बढ़ाता है. तुम बल उत्पन्न करने वाले, हराने वाले और शक्ति देने वाले हो. तुम्हारी सहायता से हम असुरों एवं उन के शत्रु देवों को भी पराजित करें. O Manu! The man who serves you, O one who has unconsolidated power like a thunderbolt and puts an end to enemies! That man always increases his force completely defeating enemies. You are the one who creates strength, defeats and gives strength. With your help, let us defeat the asuras and their enemy gods. (1)
अप॑ नः॒ शोशु॑चद॒घमग्ने॑ शुशु॒ग्ध्या र॒यिम् । अप॑ नः॒ शोशु॑चद॒घम् ॥ (१)

हे अग्नि! तुम्हारी कृपा से हमारा पाप नष्ट हो जाए. तुम हमारे धन को सभी ओर से समृद्ध करो और हमारे पाप को नष्ट करो. (१)

O agni! May our sin be destroyed by your grace. Enrich our wealth on all sides and destroy our sin. (1)
ब्रह्म॑ जज्ञा॒नं प्र॑थ॒मं पु॒रस्ता॒द्वि सी॑म॒तः सु॒रुचो॑ वे॒न आ॑वः । स बु॒ध्न्या॑ उप॒मा अ॑स्य वि॒ष्ठाः स॒तश्च॒ योनि॒मस॑तश्च॒ वि वः॑ ॥ (१)

सत्, चित, आनंद और सारे विश्व का कारण ब्रह्म सब से पहले सूर्य रूप में प्रकट हुआ जो पूर्व दिशा में उत्पन्न होता है तथा अपने तेज से सारे जगत् को व्याप्त करता है. यह प्रकाश और वर्षा का कारण सूर्यात्मक तेज सभी दिशाओं से आरंभ हो कर अपने शोभन प्रकाश को फैलाता है. सत् और असत् के उत्पत्ति स्थान के ज्ञान का तथा धरती, आकाश आदि का ज्ञान प्रकट करने वाला वही सूर्यात्मक तेज है. EN English Translation
Brahman, the cause of sat, chit, bliss and the whole world, first appeared in the form of the sun, which originates in the east direction and pervades the whole world with its radiance. This light and rain cause the sunlight to spread its beautiful light starting from all directions. He is the same sunlight that reveals the knowledge of the place of origin of sat and asat and the knowledge of earth, sky etc. (1)
ब्रह्मा॑स्य शी॒र्षं बृ॒हद॑स्य पृ॒ष्ठं वा॑मदे॒व्यमु॒दर॑मोद॒नस्य॑ । छन्दां॑सि प॒क्षौ मुख॑मस्य स॒त्यं वि॑ष्टा॒री जा॒तस्तप॑सोऽधि य॒ज्ञः ॥ (१)

दिए जाते हुए ब्रह्मौदन की स्तुति की जा रही है-“ब्रह्म अर्थात् रथंतर साम इस ओदन का शीश एवं बृहत् साम इस की पीठ है. वामदेव ऋषि द्वारा देखा गया साम इस का पेट तथा गायत्री आदि छंद इस के पक्ष अर्थात् दोनों कोखें हैं. सत्य नाम का साम इस का मुख है. विस्तार वाला ब्रह्मौदन सत्र यज्ञ ब्रह्म के भीतरी भाग से उत्पन्न हुआ है.” (१)
EN English Translation
While being given, Brahmaodan is being praised - "Brahma i.e. Rathantar Sama is the head of this Odan and Brihat Sama is the back of this. The verses of Sama Is ka Pet and Gayatri etc. seen by Vamdev Rishi are on its side i.e. both wombs. The name truth is its mouth. The expanding Brahmaudan session originated from the inner part of yajna Brahma." (1)
य आ॑त्म॒दा ब॑ल॒दा यस्य॒ विश्व॑ उ॒पास॑ते प्र॒शिषं॒ यस्य॑ दे॒वाः । योऽस्येशे॑ द्वि॒पदो॒ यश्चतु॑ष्पदः॒ कस्मै॑ दे॒वाय॑ ह॒विषा॑ विधेम ॥ (१)

जो प्रजापति सभी प्राणियों को प्राण एवं शांति देने वाले हैं, सभी प्राणी एवं देव भी जिन का शासन मानते हैं तथा दो पैरों वाले मनुष्यों और चार पैरों वाले पशुओं के स्वामी हैं. हम हवि द्वारा इस प्रकार के प्रजापति देव की पूजा करते हैं. (१)

Prajapati, who gives life and peace to all beings, all beings and gods also believe in the rule and is the swami of two-legged humans and four-legged animals. We worship this type of Prajapati Dev by Havi. (1)
यमो॑द॒नं प्र॑थम॒जा ऋ॒तस्य॑ प्र॒जाप॑ति॒स्तप॑सा ब्र॒ह्मणेऽप॑चत् । यो लो॒कानां॒ विधृ॑ति॒र्नाभि॒रेषा॒त्तेनौ॑द॒नेनाति॑ तराणि मृ॒त्युम् ॥ (१)

परब्रह्म से प्रथम उत्पन्न हिरण्यगर्भ नामक प्रजापति ने तप के द्वारा ब्रह्म के लिए जो ओदन पकाया था तथा जो ओदन पृथ्वी आदि लोकों को बांधने वाला है, उस ओदन से मैं मृत्यु को पार करूं. (१)

I should cross death with the odan that Prajapati named Hiranyagarbha, born first from Parabrahma, had cooked for Brahman through penance and which is going to bind the worlds like the earth etc. (1)
उदि॒तस्त्रयो॑ अक्रमन्व्या॒घ्रः पुरु॑षो॒ वृकः॑ । हिरु॒ग्घि यन्ति॒ सिन्ध॑वो॒ हिरु॑ग्दे॒वो वन॒स्पति॒र्हिरु॑ङ्नमन्तु॒ शत्र॑वः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
बाघ, चोर मनुष्य और भेड़िए—ये तीन इस स्थान से भाग कर दूर चले जाएं. जिस प्रकार सरिताएं गूढ़ रूप में बहती हैं, उसी प्रकार बाघ आदि भी दिखाई न दें. वनस्पतियों के अधिष्ठाता देव जिस प्रकार वनस्पतियों में छिपे रहते हैं, उसी प्रकार बाघ आदि भी लुप्त हो जाएं. बाघ आदि के जो शत्रु हैं, वे उन्हें दूर भगा दें. Tigers, thieves, humans and wolves — these three should run away from this place. Just as the rivers flow in a mysterious form, so should tigers etc. also not be seen. Just as the god of the plants is hidden in the flora, so should the tiger etc. disappear. Let the enemies of tigers etc. drive them away. (1)
तान्त्स॒त्यौजाः॒ प्र द॑हत्व॒ग्निर्वै॑श्वान॒रो वृषा॑ । यो नो॑ दुर॒स्याद्दिप्सा॒च्चाथो॒ यो नो॑ अराति॒यात् ॥ (१)

सच्चे बल वाले, वैश्वानर एवं गर्भाधान में समर्थ अग्नि उन शत्रुओं को जलाएं, जो हमारे प्रति दुष्टों के समान आचरण करें, जो हमारी हिंसा करना चाहें तथा जो हमारे प्रति शत्रु के समान आचरण करें. (१)

May the agni of true strength, vaishwanar and capable of conception burn those enemies who treat us like the wicked, who want to do violence to us and who treat us as enemies. (1)
य त्वा॑ गन्ध॒र्वो अख॑न॒द्वरु॑णाय मृ॒तभ्र॑जे । तां त्वा॑ व॒यं ख॑नाम॒स्योष॑धिं शेप॒हर्ष॑णीम् ॥ (१)

हे कपित्थ अर्थात् कैथ नाम के वृक्ष एवं फल! वरुण का पौरुष न्ट होने पर उन्हें वह शक्ति पुनः प्राप्त कराने के लिए गंधर्वो ने तुझे खोद कर प्राप्त किया था. उसी शक्तिवर्धक ओषधि को हम खोदते हैं. (१)

O Kapittha i.e. trees and fruits named Cath! When Varuna's virility was not, the Gandharvas got you by digging to get him that power back. We dig the same powerful medicine. (1)
स॒हस्र॑शृङ्गो वृष॒भो यः स॑मु॒द्रादु॒दाच॑रत् । तेना॑ सह॒स्ये॑ना व॒यं नि जना॑न्त्स्वापयामसि ॥ (१)

कामनाओं एवं जल की वर्षा करने वाले सूर्य उदयाचल के समीपवर्ती सागर से उदय होते हैं. उदित एवं शत्रुओं को वश में करने वाले सूर्य के द्वारा हम अपने सामने स्थित व्यक्तियों को निद्रा-परवश बनाते हैं. (१)

The sun, which showers desires and water, rises from the sea near Udayachal. Through the sun that rises and controls enemies, we make the people in front of us sleep- control. (1)
त्वया॒ पूर्व॒मथ॑र्वाणो ज॒घ्नू रक्षां॑स्योषधे । त्वया॑ जघान क॒श्यप॒स्त्वया॒ कण्वो॑ अ॒गस्त्यः॑ ॥ (१)

हे जड़ीबूटियो! प्राचीन काल में तुम्हें साधन बना कर अथर्ववेद संबंधी महर्षियों ने राक्षसों को मारा था. तुम्हारे द्वारा कश्यप, कण्व और अगस्त्य ऋषियों ने राक्षसों का वध किया. (१)

O herbs! In ancient times, the Maharishis of Atharvaveda killed demons by making you a means. Through you, Kashyapa, Kanva and Agastya rishis killed demons. (1)
ब्रा॑ह्म॒णो ज॑ज्ञे प्रथ॒मो दश॑शीर्षो॒ दशा॑स्यः । स सोमं॑ प्रथ॒मः प॑पौ॒ स च॑कारार॒सं वि॒षम् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सर्पो में सब से पहले तक्षक उत्पन्न हुआ, जो मनुष्यों में ब्राह्मण के समान सरपों में पूज्य था. उस के दस शीश और दस मुख थे. क्षत्रिय आदि जातियों वाले सर्पो से पहले उत्पन्न होने के कारण तक्षक ने सब से पहले स्वर्गलोक में स्थित अमृत पिया. सोम अर्थात् अमृत पीने वाला ब्राह्मण तक्षक कंद मूल आदि से उत्पन्न रस को विष के प्रभाव से हीन बनाए. The first takshak was born in sarpo, who was revered in serpents like a Brahmin in humans. He had ten heads and ten mouths. Due to being born before the serpents of Kshatriya etc. jatis, Takshak first drank nectar located in heaven. Som i.e. brahmin who drinks nectar should make the juice produced from takshak kand root etc. inferior to the effect of poison. (1)
उ॑द्भिन्द॒तीं सं॒जय॑न्तीमप्स॒रां सा॑धुदे॒विनी॑म् । ग्लहे॑ कृ॒तानि॑ कृण्वा॒नाम॑प्स॒रां तामि॒ह हु॑वे ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
बाजी लगा कर धन का भेदन करती हुई एवं भलीभांति जुए में जीतने वाली एवं अक्ष शलाका आदि से अच्छी तरह जुआ खेलने वाली अप्सरा की मैं स्तुति करता हूं. सदैव दांव पर लगाए गए धन पर जुआ जीतने के चिह्न बनाने वाली उस अप्सरा को मैं यहां बुलाता हूं. (१)

I praise the apsara who penetrates the money by betting and wins in gambling well and gambles well with Aksh Shalaka etc. I call that nymph who always makes a gambling winning mark on the money at stake. (1)
वारि॒दम्वा॑रयातै वर॒णाव॑त्या॒मधि॑ । तत्रा॒मृत॒स्यासि॑क्तं॒ तेना॑ ते वारये वि॒षम् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वारण वृक्ष जहां उत्पन्न होते हैं, उस वारणावती का विषहारी जल हम मनुष्यों के विष को दूर करता है. उस जल में स्वर्ग स्थित अमृत का विषनाशक प्रभाव विद्यमान है. इस कारण मैं उस अमृतमय जल से तेरे कंद, मूल आदि से उत्पन्न विष को दूर करता हूं. (१)

The poisonous water of The Varanavati, where the Varan trees are born, removes the poison of us humans. In that water, the toxic effect of nectar in heaven is present. For this reason, I remove the poison produced from your tuber, root, etc. with that nectar-rich water. (1)
पृ॑थि॒व्याम॒ग्नये॒ सम॑नम॒न्त्स आ॑र्ध्नोत् । यथा॑ पृथि॒व्याम॒ग्नये॑ स॒मन॑मन्ने॒वा मह्यं॑ सं॒नमः॒ सं न॑मन्तु ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
पृथ्वी पर देवता रूप में स्थित अग्नि के लिए सभी प्राणी नमन करते हैं. वे अग्नि इस से समृद्ध होते हैं. पृथ्वी पर प्राणी जिस प्रकार अग्नि के लिए नमन करते हैं, उसी प्रकार का नमन मेरे लिए भी हो. (१)

All beings bow down to the agni located in the form of deity on earth. Those agnis are enriched by this. Just as beings on earth bow down to agni, the same kind of bowing should be for me. (1)
भू॒तो भू॒तेषु॒ पय॒ आ द॑धाति॒ स भू॒ताना॒मधि॑पतिर्बभूव । तस्य॑ मृ॒त्युश्च॑रति राज॒सूयं॒ स राजा॒ रा॒ज्यमनु॑ मन्यतामि॒दम् ॥ (१)

अभिषेक द्वारा ऐश्वर्य प्राप्त करने वाला राजा ही समृद्ध जनपदों में भोज्य सामग्री पहुंचाता है. इस प्रकार वह प्राणियों का स्वामी हुआ. मृत्यु के देव यमराज दुष्टों को दंड दिलाने और सज्जनों का पालन करने के लिए ही राजा का राजसूय यज्ञ कराते हैं. वह राजा इस राज्य को तथा दुष्ट निग्रह और सज्जन परिपालन के कर्म को स्वीकार करे. EN English Translation
The king who attains opulence through abhishek delivers food items to rich districts. Thus he became the master of creatures. Yamraj, the god of death, performs the king's Rajasuya Yagya only to punish the wicked and follow the gentlemen. That king should accept this kingdom and the deeds of evil exile and gentlemanly observance. (1)

O Anjan Mani! You come to protect living beings from a mountain called Trikkud. You are the eye of Mount Trikakud. All the gods like Indra etc. have provided you in the form of a boundary wall to remain disease-free. (1)
ये पु॒रस्ता॒ज्जुह्व॑ति जातवेदः॒ प्राच्या॑ दि॒शोऽभि॒दास॑न्त्य॒स्मान् । अ॒ग्निमृ॒त्वा ते परा॑ञ्चो व्यथन्तां प्र॒त्यगे॑नान्प्रतिस॒रेण॑ हन्मि ॥ (१)

हे जातवेद अग्नि! जो शत्रु पूर्व दिशा में हवन करते हुए हम पर जादूटोने तथा पूर्व दिशा से हमारी हिंसा करना चाहते हैं, अग्नि में गिर कर हमारे वे विरोधी दुःखी हों. हम उन के द्वारा किए गए जादूटोने को वापस लौटा कर उन्हें मारते हैं. (१)

O jataved agni! The enemies who want to do magic on us while performing havan in the east direction and violence us from the east direction, fall into the agni and their opponents should be sad. We return the witchcraft they did and kill them. (1)

गाड़ी ढोने में समर्थ बैल हल जोतने आदि के कारण पृथ्वी का पोषक है. वही बैल चरु, पुरोडाश आदि की उत्पत्ति में सहायक होने के कारण आकाश और अंतरिक्ष को भी धारण करता है. पूर्व आदि महा दिशाओं का पोषण कर्ता भी यही धर्म रूपी बैल है. इस प्रकार ब्रह्मा द्वारा बनाया गया यह बैल पृथ्वी आदि सभी लोकों की रक्षा के लिए उन में प्रवेश कर के स्थित रहता है. The bull capable of carrying the car is the nourisher of the earth due to ploughing etc. The same bull also holds the sky and space due to being helpful in the origin of charu, purodash etc. The nurturer of the former adi maha directions is also the bull of this dharma. In this way, this bull made by Brahma enters all the worlds like earth etc. to protect them and remains located. (1)
रोह॑ण्यसि॒ रोह॑ण्य॒स्थ्नश्छि॒न्नस्य॒ रोह॑णी । रो॒हये॒दम॑रुन्धति ॥ (१)

हे लाल रंग वाली लाख! तू घाव को भरने वाली है, इसलिए तू तलवार की धार से कटे हुए इस अंग से बहते रक्त को उसी स्थान पर रोक दे. हे अरुंधती देवी! तू इस रक्त निकले हुए अंग को रक्त युक्त एवं बिना घाव वाला बना. (१)

O red-colored lac! You are going to heal the wound, so stop the blood flowing from this organ cut off by the edge of the sword in the same place. O Arundhati Devi! You made this blood-drained organ blood-stained and unsound. (1)
