हे अग्नि! तुम जब वृक्षों को जलाते हुए ऊपर-नीचे चलते हो, तब तुम्हारी गति लूटने वाली सेना के समान सबसे अलग होती है. जब हवा तुम्हारी ज्वालाओं के पीछे चलती है, तुब तुम असीम प्रदेश को इस प्रकार साफ कर देते हो, जिस प्रकार नाई दाढ़ी के बाल काटता है. (४)

O agni! When you walk up and down burning trees, your speed is the most different as that of a robbing army. When the wind moves behind your flames, you clean the infinite land in such a way that the hairdresser cuts the hair of the beard. (4)
