प्र नू॒नं जा॒तवे॑दस॒मश्वं॑ हिनोत वा॒जिन॑म् । इ॒दं नो॑ ब॒र्हिरा॒सदे॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ऋत्विजो एवं यजमानो! ज्ञानी, व्याप्त एवं अन्न वाले अग्नि को कुशों पर बैठने के लिए बुलाओ. (१)
EN English Translation
O Ritvizzo and hosts! Call the wise, pervasive and grained agni to sit on the cushions. (1)
अ॒स्य प्र जा॒तवे॑दसो॒ विप्र॑वीरस्य मी॒ळ्हुषः॑ । म॒हीमि॑यर्मि सुष्टु॒तिम् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
विद्वान्, यजमानों के पिता एवं वर्षाकारक अग्नि के लिए मैं यह विशाल तथा शोभन स्तुति करता हूं. (२)
EN English Translation
I give this great and graceful praise to the learned, the father of the hosts and the rain-bearing agni. (2)
या रुचो॑ जा॒तवे॑दसो देव॒त्रा ह॑व्य॒वाह॑नीः । ताभि॑र्नो य॒ज्ञमि॑न्वतु ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
अग्नि की जो ज्वालाएं देवों के लिए हव्यवहन करने वाली हैं, उनके द्वारा अग्नि हमारे यज्ञ की रक्षा करें. (३)
EN English Translation
Let the agni protect our yajna by the flames of agni which are meant to be used for the gods. (3)
