ऋ॒तं च॑ स॒त्यं चा॒भी॑द्धा॒त्तप॒सोऽध्य॑जायत । ततो॒ रात्र्य॑जायत॒ ततः॑ समु॒द्रो अ॑र्ण॒वः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
प्रज्वलित तप से यज्ञ और सत्य उत्पन्न हुए. इसके बाद रात तथा दिन उत्पन्न हुए. इसके पश्चात् जलपूर्णं सागर उत्पन्न हुए. (१)
EN English Translation
Yajna and truth were born out of the ignited penance. After this, night and day arose. After this, the waters were born. (1)
स॒मु॒द्राद॑र्ण॒वादधि॑ संवत्स॒रो अ॑जायत । अ॒हो॒रा॒त्राणि॑ वि॒दध॒द्विश्व॑स्य मिष॒तो व॒शी ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जलपूर्ण सागर से संवत्सर उत्पन्न हुए. पलक झपकाने में संसार के स्वामी ईश्वर ने दिन एवं रात बनाए. (२)
EN English Translation
Samvatsars originated from the watery sea. In the blink of an eye, God, the Lord of the world, made days and nights. (2)
सू॒र्या॒च॒न्द्र॒मसौ॑ धा॒ता य॑थापू॒र्वम॑कल्पयत् । दिवं॑ च पृथि॒वीं चा॒न्तरि॑क्ष॒मथो॒ स्वः॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
ईश्वर ने पूर्वकाल के अनुसार सूर्य और चंद्रमा को बनाया. उसने इसके बाद ह्युलोक, पृथ्वी एवं अंतरिक्ष को बनाया. (३)
EN English Translation
God created the sun and the moon according to the past. He then created Huloc, Earth and Space. (3)
