य इ॒मा विश्वा॒ भुव॑नानि॒ जुह्व॒दृषि॒र्होता॒ न्यसी॑दत्पि॒ता नः॑ । स आ॒शिषा॒ द्रवि॑णमि॒च्छमा॑नः प्रथम॒च्छदव॑रा॒ँ आ वि॑वेश ॥ (१)

अग्नि का आह्वान करने वाले हमारे पिता विश्वकर्मा सारे संसार को अग्नि में हवन के लिए डालकर स्वयं भी उसीमें बैठ गए. वे स्तुतियों द्वारा धन की कामना करते हुए पहले अग्नि का आच्छादन बने और बाद में उसीमें प्रवेश कर गए. (१)
EN English Translation
Our father Vishwakarma, who called for agni, put the whole world in the agni for havan and sat in it himself. They first became a cover of agni and later entered it, wishing for wealth through praises. (1)
किं स्वि॑दासीदधि॒ष्ठान॑मा॒रम्भ॑णं कत॒मत्स्वि॑त्क॒थासी॑त् । यतो॒ भूमिं॑ ज॒नय॑न्वि॒श्वक॑र्मा॒ वि द्यामौर्णो॑न्महि॒ना वि॒श्वच॑क्षाः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सृष्टि बनाते समय विश्वकर्मा का आधार क्या था? उन्होंने सृष्टि का आरंभ कहां और किस प्रकार किया? विश्व को देखने वाले विश्वकर्मा के किस स्थान पर स्थित होकर धरती के बाद आकाश को बनाया? (२)
EN English Translation
What was the basis of Vishwakarma while creating the creation? Where and how did they start creation? In which place of Vishwakarma who saw the world, he made the sky after the earth? (2)
वि॒श्वत॑श्चक्षुरु॒त वि॒श्वतो॑मुखो वि॒श्वतो॑बाहुरु॒त वि॒श्वत॑स्पात् । सं बा॒हुभ्यां॒ धम॑ति॒ सं पत॑त्रै॒र्द्यावा॒भूमी॑ ज॒नय॑न्दे॒व एकः॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
विश्वकर्मा की आंखें, मुख, बाहु एवं चरण सब ओर फैले हुए हैं. उस देव ने अकेले ही बाहुओं और चरणों से भली-भांति गति करके द्यावा और भूमि को बनाया. (३)
EN English Translation
Vishwakarma's eyes, mouth, arm and legs are spread all over. The God alone made the dyava and the land by moving well with his arms and steps. (3)
किं स्वि॒द्वनं॒ क उ॒ स वृ॒क्ष आ॑स॒ यतो॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी नि॑ष्टत॒क्षुः । मनी॑षिणो॒ मन॑सा पृ॒च्छतेदु॒ तद्यद॒ध्यति॑ष्ठ॒द्भुव॑नानि धा॒रय॑न् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वह कौन सा वन एवं वृक्ष है, जिसने द्यावा-पृथिवी को निष्पादित किया. हे विद्वानो! अपने से यह पूछो कि ईश्वर भुवनों को धारण करके किस पर स्थित होता है? (४)
EN English Translation
Which is the forest and tree that executed the dyava-prithvivi? O scholars! Ask yourself, on whom does God hold the eyebrows? (4)
या ते॒ धामा॑नि पर॒माणि॒ याव॒मा या म॑ध्य॒मा वि॑श्वकर्मन्नु॒तेमा । शिक्षा॒ सखि॑भ्यो ह॒विषि॑ स्वधावः स्व॒यं य॑जस्व त॒न्वं॑ वृधा॒नः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे हव्यरूप अन्न धारण करने वाले विश्वकर्मा! तुम्हारे जो परम धाम अथवा उत्तम, मध्यम एवं साधारण शरीर हैं, उन्हें हव्य प्राप्त करके हमे दो. तुम अपने शरीर को बढ़ाते हुए स्वयं यज्ञ करो. (५)
EN English Translation
O Vishwakarma who holds food in a havrup! Give us the most auspicious, or the best, the middle and the ordinary body that you have, by attaining the greetings. You do the yajna yourself while increasing your body. (5)
विश्व॑कर्मन्ह॒विषा॑ वावृधा॒नः स्व॒यं य॑जस्व पृथि॒वीमु॒त द्याम् । मुह्य॑न्त्व॒न्ये अ॒भितो॒ जना॑स इ॒हास्माकं॑ म॒घवा॑ सू॒रिर॑स्तु ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे विश्वकर्मा! तुम हव्य से बढ़कर स्वयं धरती एवं द्यौ को पूजित करो, इस यज्ञ में यज्ञन करने वाले लोग मूर्च्छित हों एवं धनस्वामी विश्वकर्मा स्वर्गफल देने वाले हों. (६)
EN English Translation
O Vishwakarma! You worship the earth and the earth and the earth more than you are, in this yajna, the people who perform yajna are faint and the wealthy Vishwakarma is the giver of heaven. (6)
वा॒चस्पतिं॑ वि॒श्वक॑र्माणमू॒तये॑ मनो॒जुवं॒ वाजे॑ अ॒द्या हु॑वेम । स नो॒ विश्वा॑नि॒ हव॑नानि जोषद्वि॒श्वश॑म्भू॒रव॑से सा॒धुक॑र्मा ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम मंत्रों की रक्षा करने वाले विश्वकर्मा को आज यज्ञ में अपनी रक्षा के लिए बुलाते हैं. वे हमारे सभी हवनों को स्वीकार करें एवं हमारी रक्षा के लिए सबके सुखोत्पादक एवं भले काम करने वाले बनें. (७)
EN English Translation
We call Vishwakarma, who protects the mantras, to protect himself in the yagna today. May they accept all our havans and become all the comforters and good doers to protect us. (7)
