इ॒मं नो॑ य॒ज्ञम॒मृते॑षु धेही॒मा ह॒व्या जा॑तवेदो जुषस्व । स्तो॒काना॑मग्ने॒ मेद॑सो घृ॒तस्य॒ होतः॒ प्राशा॑न प्रथ॒मो नि॒षद्य॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे जातवेद! हमारा यह यज्ञ देवों के पास ले जाओ एवं इन हव्यों का सेवन करो. हे होता! यज्ञ में बैठकर तुम सबसे पहले चर्बी और घी की बूंदों को भली-भांति भक्षण करो. (१)
EN English Translation
O Jathaveda! Take this yajna of ours to the gods and consume these havyas. It was! Sitting in the yajna, first of all, eat the drops of fat and ghee well. (1)
घृ॒तव॑न्तः पावक ते स्तो॒काः श्चो॑तन्ति॒ मेद॑सः । स्वध॑र्मन्दे॒ववी॑तये॒ श्रेष्ठं॑ नो धेहि॒ वार्य॑म् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे पापशोधक अग्नि! इस सांगोपांग यज्ञ में तुम्हारे एवं देवों के भक्षण के लिए घी की बूंदें टपक रही हैं. इस कारण हमें शरेष्ठ एवं वरण योग्य धन दीजिए. (२)
EN English Translation
O sin-correcting agni! In this Sangopang Yajna, drops of ghee are dripping for the food of you and the gods. For this reason, give us the wealth and selectable. (2)
तुभ्यं॑ स्तो॒का घृ॑त॒श्चुतोऽग्ने॒ विप्रा॑य सन्त्य । ऋषिः॒ श्रेष्ठः॒ समि॑ध्यसे य॒ज्ञस्य॑ प्रावि॒ता भ॑व ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यज्ञकर्ताओं को फलप्रद एवं मेधावी अग्नि! घी की टपकने वाली बूंदें तुम्हारे लिए हैं. हे ऋषि एवं श्रेष्ठ अग्नि! तुम्हें प्रज्वलित किया जाता है. तुम यज्ञपालक बनो. (३)
EN English Translation
O fruitful and bright agni to the yagyakars! Dripping drops of ghee are for you. O sage and the best agni! You are ignited. You become the yagyapalaka. (3)
तुभ्यं॑ श्चोतन्त्यध्रिगो शचीवः स्तो॒कासो॑ अग्ने॒ मेद॑सो घृ॒तस्य॑ । क॒वि॒श॒स्तो बृ॑ह॒ता भा॒नुनागा॑ ह॒व्या जु॑षस्व मेधिर ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे नित्य गतिशाली एवं शक्तिसंपन्न अग्नि! चर्बीरूपी घी की सभी बूंदें तुम्हारे लिए टपकती हैं. हे कवियों द्वारा स्तुत अग्नि! तुम महान् तेज के साथ यज्ञ में आओ. हे मेधावी! हमारे हव्यों का सेवन करो. (४)
EN English Translation
O ever-moving and powerful agni! All the drops of fat ghee drip for you. O agni played by the poets! You come to the yagna with great brightness. O meritorious! Consume our vegetables. (4)
ओजि॑ष्ठं ते मध्य॒तो मेद॒ उद्भृ॑तं॒ प्र ते॑ व॒यं द॑दामहे । श्चोत॑न्ति ते वसो स्तो॒का अधि॑ त्व॒चि प्रति॒ तान्दे॑व॒शो वि॑हि ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! हम पशु के मध्य भाग से अत्यंत ओजपूर्ण चर्बी तुम्हें देते हैं. हे निवास प्रदान करने वाले अग्नि! त्वचा के ऊपर तुम्हारे उद्देश्य से जो बूंदें गिरती हैं, उन्हें प्रत्येक देव को प्रदान करो. (५)
EN English Translation
O agni! We give you extremely energetic fat from the middle part of the animal. O agni that provides the abode! The drops that fall for your purpose on top of the skin, provide them to each god. (5)
