तिष्ठा॒ हरी॒ रथ॒ आ यु॒ज्यमा॑ना या॒हि वा॒युर्न नि॒युतो॑ नो॒ अच्छ॑ । पिबा॒स्यन्धो॑ अ॒भिसृ॑ष्टो अ॒स्मे इन्द्र॒ स्वाहा॑ ररि॒मा ते॒ मदा॑य ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! जिस प्रकार वायु अपने नियुत नाम के घोड़ों की प्रतीक्षा करते हैं, उसी प्रकार तुम भी हरि नामक घोड़ों को रथ में जोड़कर कुछ क्षण प्रतीक्षा करने के बाद हमारे पास आओ एवं हमारे द्वारा दिया हुआ सोम पान करो. हम स्वाहा शब्द का उच्चारण करके तुम्हारे आनंद के लिए सोम देते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Just as the wind waits for the horses of his name Appointed, so too do you also add the horses named Hari to the chariot and after waiting for a few moments, come to us and drink the som given by us. We give som to your enjoyment by uttering the word swaha. (1)
उपा॑जि॒रा पु॑रुहू॒ताय॒ सप्ती॒ हरी॒ रथ॑स्य धू॒र्ष्वा यु॑नज्मि । द्र॒वद्यथा॒ सम्भृ॑तं वि॒श्वत॑श्चि॒दुपे॒मं य॒ज्ञमा व॑हात॒ इन्द्र॑म् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम अनेक यजमानों द्वारा बुलाए गए इंद्र के रथ के अगले हिस्से में तेज दौड़ने वाले एवं वेगवान् घोड़े जोड़ते हैं. वे घोड़े इंद्र को सभी प्रकार से पूर्ण इस यज्ञ में ले आवें. (२)
EN English Translation
We add fast-running and vibrant horses to the front of Indra's chariot called by many hosts. Let those horses bring Indra to this yajna complete in all respects. (2)
उपो॑ नयस्व॒ वृष॑णा तपु॒ष्पोतेम॑व॒ त्वं वृ॑षभ स्वधावः । ग्रसे॑ता॒मश्वा॒ वि मु॑चे॒ह शोणा॑ दि॒वेदि॑वे स॒दृशी॑रद्धि धा॒नाः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे कामवर्षक एवं अन्न के स्वामी इंद्र! अपने सेचन समर्थ एवं शत्रुओं से रक्षा करने वाले दोनों घोड़ों को हमारे पास ले आओ एवं इस यजमान की रक्षा करो. लाल रंग वाले उन घोड़ों को यहां यज्ञ में छोड़ दो. वे घास खाएं. तुम प्रतिदिन भुने हुए जौ खाओ. (३)
EN English Translation
O Indra, the master of the workman and the food! Bring to us both your sacheen capable and enemies, and protect this host. Leave those red-colored horses here in the yagna. They eat grass. You eat roasted barley every day. (3)
ब्रह्म॑णा ते ब्रह्म॒युजा॑ युनज्मि॒ हरी॒ सखा॑या सध॒माद॑ आ॒शू । स्थि॒रं रथं॑ सु॒खमि॑न्द्राधि॒तिष्ठ॑न्प्रजा॒नन्वि॒द्वाँ उप॑ याहि॒ सोम॑म् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! मंत्र द्वारा रथ में जोड़ने योग्य, युद्ध में समान रूप से प्रसिद्ध तुम्हारे दोनों घोड़ों को हम मंत्रोच्चारणपूर्वक रथ में जोड़ते हैं. तुम ज्ञानपूर्वक मजबूत एवं सुखदायक रथ पर चढ़कर सोम के समीप आओ. (४)
EN English Translation
O Indra! We add both your horses, equally famous in battle, to the chariot with chanting mantras. You may come close to Soma by climbing a wisely strong and soothing chariot. (4)
मा ते॒ हरी॒ वृष॑णा वी॒तपृ॑ष्ठा॒ नि री॑रम॒न्यज॑मानासो अ॒न्ये । अ॒त्याया॑हि॒ शश्व॑तो व॒यं तेऽरं॑ सु॒तेभिः॑ कृणवाम॒ सोमैः॑ ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! अभिलाषाएं पूर्ण करने वाले एवं सुंदर पीठ वाले तुम्हारे हरि नामक घोड़ों को अन्य यजमान प्रसन्न न करें. हम निचोड़े हुए सोम द्वारा तुम्हें पूरी तरह तृप्त करेंगे. तुम बहुत से यजमानों को छोड़कर आओ. (५)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Don't please your horses called Hari, who fulfill their desires and have beautiful backs, to the other hosts. We will completely satiate you by squeezed mon. You come leaving many hosts. (5)
तवा॒यं सोम॒स्त्वमेह्य॒र्वाङ्छ॑श्वत्त॒मं सु॒मना॑ अ॒स्य पा॑हि । अ॒स्मिन्य॒ज्ञे ब॒र्हिष्या नि॒षद्या॑ दधि॒ष्वेमं ज॒ठर॒ इन्दु॑मिन्द्र ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
यह सोम तुम्हारा है. तुम इसके सामने आओ एवं प्रसन्न मन से इस बहुत से सोम को पिओ. हे इंद्र! इस यज्ञ में बिछे हुए कुशों पर बैठकर इस सोम को पेट में डालो. (६)
EN English Translation
This mon is yours. You come in front of it and drink this lot of mon with a happy heart. O Indra! Sit on the kushas that are laid in this yajna and put this som in the stomach. (6)
स्ती॒र्णं ते॑ ब॒र्हिः सु॒त इ॑न्द्र॒ सोमः॑ कृ॒ता धा॒ना अत्त॑वे ते॒ हरि॑भ्याम् । तदो॑कसे पुरु॒शाका॑य॒ वृष्णे॑ म॒रुत्व॑ते॒ तुभ्यं॑ रा॒ता ह॒वींषि॑ ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम्हारे बैठने के लिए कुश बिछाए गए हैं, तुम्हारे पीने के लिए सोम निचोड़ा गया है एवं तुम्हारे घोड़ों के खाने के लिए भुने हुए जौ तैयार हैं. कुशों के आसन वाले, अनेक लोगों द्वारा स्तुत, कामवर्षक एवं मरुतों की सेना वाले तुम्हारे लिए विस्तृत हव्य दिए गए हैं. (७)
EN English Translation
O Indra! The cushions have been laid for you to sit, the mon has been squeezed for you to drink and the roasted barleys are ready for your horses to eat. Detailed greetings have been given to you by many people, who have the seats of kushas, those with a workman and an army of maruts. (7)
इ॒मं नरः॒ पर्व॑ता॒स्तुभ्य॒मापः॒ समि॑न्द्र॒ गोभि॒र्मधु॑मन्तमक्रन् । तस्या॒गत्या॑ सु॒मना॑ ऋष्व पाहि प्रजा॒नन्वि॒द्वान्प॒थ्या॒३॒॑ अनु॒ स्वाः ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! अध्वर्यु आदि ने पत्थरों एवं जल की सहायता से तुम्हारे लिए दुग्ध मिश्रित मीठे सोम को तैयार किया है. हे दर्शनीय शोभन मन वाले एवं विद्वान् इंद्र! अपनी सुंदर स्तुतियों को जानते हुए सोम पिओ. (८)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Adhwaryu etc. has prepared milk mixed sweet mon for you with the help of stones and water. O wise and learned Indra with a visible aura! Drink mon knowing your beautiful praises. (8)
याँ आभ॑जो म॒रुत॑ इन्द्र॒ सोमे॒ ये त्वामव॑र्ध॒न्नभ॑वन्ग॒णस्ते॑ । तेभि॑रे॒तं स॒जोषा॑ वावशा॒नो॒३॒॑ऽग्नेः पि॑ब जि॒ह्वया॒ सोम॑मिन्द्र ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! सोमपान के समय तुम जिन मरुतों का आदर करते हो, युद्ध में जो मरुद्गण तुम्हें बढ़ाते एवं तुम्हारी सहायता करते हैं, उन्हीं मरुतों के साथ मिलकर सोमपान की अभिलाषा करने वाले तुम अग्निरूपी जीभ द्वारा सोम पिओ. (९)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Drink soma with the fiery tongue of the maruts that you desire to worship somapan, together with the same maruts that you grow and help you in the war. (9)
इन्द्र॒ पिब॑ स्व॒धया॑ चित्सु॒तस्या॒ग्नेर्वा॑ पाहि जि॒ह्वया॑ यजत्र । अ॒ध्व॒र्योर्वा॒ प्रय॑तं शक्र॒ हस्ता॒द्धोतु॑र्वा य॒ज्ञं ह॒विषो॑ जुषस्व ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यज्ञ के योग्य इंद्र! स्वधा अग्निरूपी जीभ द्वारा निचोड़े हुए सोम को पिओ. हे शुक्र! अध्वर्यु के हाथ से दिया हुआ सोम पिओ अथवा होता के द्वारा दिए गए हव्य का सेवन करो. (१०)
EN English Translation
O Indra worthy of yajna! Drink the swadha agam squeezed with the agni-like tongue. Oh, thank you! Drink the soma given by the hand of adhwaryu or consume the havya given by the hota. (10)
शु॒नं हु॑वेम म॒घवा॑न॒मिन्द्र॑म॒स्मिन्भरे॒ नृत॑मं॒ वाज॑सातौ । शृ॒ण्वन्त॑मु॒ग्रमू॒तये॑ स॒मत्सु॒ घ्नन्तं॑ वृ॒त्राणि॑ सं॒जितं॒ धना॑नाम् ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
धन प्राप्ति वाले संग्राम में उत्साहपूर्ण, धनवान्, सकल विश्व के नेता, स्तुतियां सुनने वाले, शत्रुओं के लिए भयंकर, युद्ध में राक्षस विनाशकारी एवं शत्रुओं के धन के विजेता इंद्र को हम रक्षा के लिए बुलाते हैं. (११)
EN English Translation
We call indra, the leader of the world, the leader of the world, the leader of the world, the one who hears praises, the fiercest for the enemies, the demon destroyers in battle and the conqueror of the wealth of the enemies. (11)
