धे॒नुः प्र॒त्नस्य॒ काम्यं॒ दुहा॑ना॒न्तः पु॒त्रश्च॑रति॒ दक्षि॑णायाः । आ द्यो॑त॒निं व॑हति शु॒भ्रया॑मो॒षसः॒ स्तोमो॑ अ॒श्विना॑वजीगः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
प्रसन्न करने वाली उषा पुरातन-अग्नि के निमित्त सुंदर दूध देती है. उषा का पुत्र सूर्य उषा के भीतर विचरण करता है. उज्ज्वल गति वाला दिवस सर्वप्रकाशक सूर्य को धारण करता है. उषा से पहले ही अश्विनीकुमारों की स्तुति करने वाले जागते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
The pleasing Usha gives beautiful milk for the sake of anti-agni. Usha's son Surya moves within Usha. A bright-speed day holds the all-light sun. Even before Usha, those who praise the Ashwinikumars wake up. (1)
सु॒युग्व॑हन्ति॒ प्रति॑ वामृ॒तेनो॒र्ध्वा भ॑वन्ति पि॒तरे॑व॒ मेधाः॑ । जरे॑थाम॒स्मद्वि प॒णेर्म॑नी॒षां यु॒वोरव॑श्चकृ॒मा या॑तम॒र्वाक् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्चिनीकुमारो! रथ में भली प्रकार जुड़े हुए घोड़े सत्यरूपी रथ के द्वारा यज्ञ में आने के लिए तुम्हें वहन करते हैं. पुत्र जिस प्रकार माता-पिता को देखकर जाता है, उसी प्रकार यज्ञ तुम्हारे सामने जाते हैं. आसुरी बुद्धि को हमसे बहुत दूर करो. हम तुम्हारे लिए हव्य तैयार करते हैं. तुम हमारे सामने आओ. (२)
EN English Translation
O aschinikumaro! Horses well attached to the chariot carry you to come to the yagna through the satyarupi chariot. Just as a son sees his parents, so the yajnas go before you. Take the assy wisdom far away from us. We prepare the havya for you. You come before us. (2)
सु॒युग्भि॒रश्वैः॑ सु॒वृता॒ रथे॑न॒ दस्रा॑वि॒मं शृ॑णुतं॒ श्लोक॒मद्रेः॑ । किम॒ङ्ग वां॒ प्रत्यव॑र्तिं॒ गमि॑ष्ठा॒हुर्विप्रा॑सो अश्विना पुरा॒जाः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्चिनीकुमारो! सुंदर पहियों वाले रथ में बैठकर एवं भली प्रकार जुते हुए अश्चों द्वारा खींचे जाकर लुम दोनों स्तोताओं की स्तुतियां सुनो. मेधावी पुरातन ऋषियों ने क्या तुमसे नहीं कहा कि तुम दोनों हमारी वृत्ति की हानि मत करो. (३)
EN English Translation
O aschinikumaro! Sit in a chariot with beautiful wheels and be pulled by well-weding ass and listen to the praises of the two stoetas. Did not the brilliant ancient sages tell you not to harm our instincts? (3)
आ म॑न्येथा॒मा ग॑तं॒ कच्चि॒देवै॒र्विश्वे॒ जना॑सो अ॒श्विना॑ हवन्ते । इ॒मा हि वां॒ गोऋ॑जीका॒ मधू॑नि॒ प्र मि॒त्रासो॒ न द॒दुरु॒स्रो अग्रे॑ ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्चिनीकुमारो! हमारी स्तुति को जानो और अश्वो द्वारा यज्ञ में पधारो. सभी स्तोता तुम्हें बुलाते हैं. वे मित्रों के समान तुम्हें दूध मिला हुआ एवं मादक सोमरस देते हैं. सूर्य उषा के आगे उदय होते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
O aschinikumaro! Know our praise and go to the yajna by the ashwa. All the stotas call you. They give you milk mixed and intoxicating somras like friends. The sun rises ahead of Usha. (4)
ति॒रः पु॒रू चि॑दश्विना॒ रजां॑स्याङ्गू॒षो वां॑ मघवाना॒ जने॑षु । एह या॑तं प॒थिभि॑र्देव॒यानै॒र्दस्रा॑वि॒मे वां॑ नि॒धयो॒ मधू॑नाम् ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! अनेक लोकों को अपने तेज से तिरस्कृत करते हुए तुम दोनों देवमार्ग द्वारा यहां आओ. संपत्तिशाली अश्विनीकुमारो! स्तोताओं के पास तुम्हारे लिए बोला जाने वाला स्तोत्र है. हे शन्रुनाशको! तुम्हारे लिए मदकारक सोमरस के पात्र तैयार हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! Both of you come here through the god way, despising many people with your swiftness. The wealthy Ashwinikumaro! The psalms have a hymn to speak for you. Oh, hey, the disciples! The characters of the mesmerizing somras are ready for you. (5)
पु॒रा॒णमोकः॑ स॒ख्यं शि॒वं वां॑ यु॒वोर्न॑रा॒ द्रवि॑णं ज॒ह्नाव्या॑म् । पुनः॑ कृण्वा॒नाः स॒ख्या शि॒वानि॒ मध्वा॑ मदेम स॒ह नू स॑मा॒नाः ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्चिनीकुमारो! तुम दोनों की पुरानी मित्रता सेवा करने योग्य एवं कल्याण करने वाली है. हे हमारे यज्ञकर्म के नेताओ! तुम्हारा धन जाह्लवी गंगा में है. तुम दोनों की सुख मैत्री को बार-बार प्राप्त करते हुए मादक सोमरस से हम भी शीघ्र प्रसन्न हों. (६)
EN English Translation
O Ashchini Kumaro! The old friendship of both of you is serviceable and welfare. O leaders of our sacrifice! Your wealth is in the Jahlavi Ganga. While receiving the happiness and friendship of both of you again and again, we should also be pleased with the intoxicating somerasa. (6)
अश्वि॑ना वा॒युना॑ यु॒वं सु॑दक्षा नि॒युद्भि॑ष्च स॒जोष॑सा युवाना । नास॑त्या ति॒रोअ॑ह्न्यं जुषा॒णा सोमं॑ पिबतम॒स्रिधा॑ सुदानू ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शोभन सामर्थ्य से युक्त, नित्य तरुण, असत्यरहित एवं शोभन फल देने वाले अश्विनीकुमारो! वायु और नियुतों के साथ मिलकर स्थायी प्रेमयुक्त एवं नाशरहित तुम दोनों दिवस छिपने पर सोम पान करो. (७)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro, who is always young, untruthless and bear fruit! Together with the air and the apostles, drink the mon on the secret of both the lasting loving and non-perishable days. (7)
अश्वि॑ना॒ परि॑ वा॒मिषः॑ पुरू॒चीरी॒युर्गी॒र्भिर्यत॑माना॒ अमृ॑ध्राः । रथो॑ ह वामृत॒जा अद्रि॑जूतः॒ परि॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी या॑ति स॒द्यः ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! बहुत से हविरूपी अन्न तुम्हारे समीप जाते हैं. तिरस्कारहीन एवं यज्ञकर्म में संलग्न स्तोता स्तुतियों द्वारा तुम्हारी सेवा करते हैं. स्तोताओं द्वारा खींचा गया वुम्हारा जल बरसाने वाला रथ धरती-आकाश के बीच में शीघ्र गमन करता है. (८)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! Many poisonous food goes near you. Undainful and engaged in yajnakarma, the stotas serve you through eulogies. The chariot that showers wumhara water drawn by the psalms moves quickly between the earth and the sky. (8)
अश्वि॑ना मधु॒षुत्त॑मो यु॒वाकुः॒ सोम॒स्तं पा॑त॒मा ग॑तं दुरो॒णे । रथो॑ ह वां॒ भूरि॒ वर्पः॒ करि॑क्रत्सु॒ताव॑तो निष्कृ॒तमाग॑मिष्ठः ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! मधुर-रस से युक्त सोमरस को पिओ एवं हमारे घर आओ. तुम्हारा अतिशय धन देने वाला रथ सोम निचोड़ने वाले यजमान के शुद्ध घर में बार-बार आता है. (९)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! Drink the somras containing sweet juice and come to our house. Your very wealthy chariot comes again and again in the pure house of the host who squeezes the mon. (9)
