प्र वो॑ मि॒त्राय॑ गायत॒ वरु॑णाय वि॒पा गि॒रा । महि॑क्षत्रावृ॒तं बृ॒हत् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ऋत्विजो! तुम दूर तक फैलने वाली वाणी से मित्र और वरुण की स्तुति करो. हे महाबली मित्र व वरुण! इस विशाल यज्ञ में आओ. (१)
EN English Translation
Hey Ritvijo! Praise your friend and Varun with a voice that spreads far and wide. O mahabali friend and Varun! Come to this huge yagna. (1)
स॒म्राजा॒ या घृ॒तयो॑नी मि॒त्रश्चो॒भा वरु॑णश्च । दे॒वा दे॒वेषु॑ प्रश॒स्ता ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मित्र व वरुण सबके स्वामी, जल को जन्म देने वाले, दीप्तिशाली एवं देवों में प्रशंसनीय हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
Friends and Varuna are the masters of all, the givers of water, the bright and the admirable of the gods. (2)
ता नः॑ शक्तं॒ पार्थि॑वस्य म॒हो रा॒यो दि॒व्यस्य॑ । महि॑ वां क्ष॒त्रं दे॒वेषु॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वे मित्र व वरुण हमें पार्थिव एवं दिव्य धन अधिक मात्रा में देने में समर्थ हैं. हे मित्र व वरुण! तुम्हारा बल स्तुत्य एवं देवों में प्रसिद्ध है. (३)
EN English Translation
Those friends and Varuna are able to give us more earthly and divine wealth. Oh my friend and Varun! Your force is famous among the saints and gods. (3)
ऋ॒तमृ॒तेन॒ सप॑न्तेषि॒रं दक्ष॑माशाते । अ॒द्रुहा॑ दे॒वौ व॑र्धेते ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मित्र व वरुण जल के द्वारा यज्ञ को सिंचित करते हुए प्रवृद्ध यजमान को घेरते हैं. हे द्रोहरहित मित्र व वरुण! तुम दोनों बढ़ते हो. (४)
EN English Translation
Friends and Varuna surround the migrating host by irrigating the yajna through water. O friend and Varun! You're both growing up. (4)
वृ॒ष्टिद्या॑वा री॒त्या॑पे॒षस्पती॒ दानु॑मत्याः । बृ॒हन्तं॒ गर्त॑माशाते ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
आकाश से जल बरसाने वाले, मनचाहा फल देने वाले, अन्न के स्वामी एवं दाता के प्रति अनुकूल मित्र व वरुण यज्ञ में आने के लिए महान् रथ पर बैठते हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
Those who rain water from the sky, the desired fruit givers, the masters of the food and the friendly friends of the giver, and Varuna sits on the great chariot to come to the yagna. (5)
