प्रा॒त॒र्यावा॑णा प्रथ॒मा य॑जध्वं पु॒रा गृध्रा॒दर॑रुषः पिबातः । प्रा॒तर्हि य॒ज्ञम॒श्विना॑ द॒धाते॒ प्र शं॑सन्ति क॒वयः॑ पूर्व॒भाजः॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ऋत्विजो! यज्ञ में प्रातःकाल उपस्थित होने वाले अश्चिनीकुमारों का सबसे पहले यजन करो. वे लालची एवं दान न करने वाले राक्षसों से पहले ही सोम पीते हैं. अश्विनीकुमार प्रातःकाल ही यज्ञ धारण करते हैं, इसलिए प्राचीन ऋषिगण उनकी प्रशंसा करते थे. (१)
EN English Translation
Hey Ritvijo! First of all, worship the Ashchinikumaras who are present in the morning in the yajna. They drink mons even before greedy and non-charitable demons. Ashwinikumar performs the yajna in the morning itself, so the ancient sages used to praise him. (1)
प्रा॒तर्य॑जध्वम॒श्विना॑ हिनोत॒ न सा॒यम॑स्ति देव॒या अजु॑ष्टम् । उ॒तान्यो अ॒स्मद्य॑जते॒ वि चावः॒ पूर्वः॑पूर्वो॒ यज॑मानो॒ वनी॑यान् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ऋत्विजो! तुम प्रातःकाल ही अश्विनीकुमारों की पूजा करो एवं उन्हें हव्य दो. संध्याकाल दिया गया हव्य असेव्य होता है, इसलिए देव उसे स्वीकार नहीं करते. हमसे पहले जो भी यज्ञ करता है अथवा सोम से उन्हें तृप्त करता है, वही यजमान देवों का अधिक प्रिय होता है. (२)
EN English Translation
O Ritvijo! You worship Ashwini Kumars in the morning and give them havya. The havya given in the evening is unavoidable, so Dev does not accept it. Whoever performs yajna before us or satisfies them with Soma, the same host is more dear to the gods. (2)
हिर॑ण्यत्व॒ङ्मधु॑वर्णो घृ॒तस्नुः॒ पृक्षो॒ वह॒न्ना रथो॑ वर्तते वाम् । मनो॑जवा अश्विना॒ वात॑रंहा॒ येना॑तिया॒थो दु॑रि॒तानि॒ विश्वा॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! तुम्हारा सोने से मढ़ा हुआ, आकर्षक रंग वाला, जल बरसाने वाला, मन के समान शीघ्रगामी एवं वायु के सदृश चलने वाला रथ अन्न धारण करके आता है. उस रथ द्वारा तुम सभी दुर्गम मार्गो को पार करते हो. (३)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! Your gold-plated, attractive-colored, water-pouring, fast-moving and wind-like chariot like a mind comes wearing food. By that chariot you cross all the inaccessible paths. (3)
यो भूयि॑ष्ठं॒ नास॑त्याभ्यां वि॒वेष॒ चनि॑ष्ठं पि॒त्वो रर॑ते विभा॒गे । स तो॒कम॑स्य पीपर॒च्छमी॑भि॒रनू॑र्ध्वभासः॒ सद॒मित्तु॑तुर्यात् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो यजमान यज्ञ का हव्य विभक्त करते समय अश्चिनीकुमारों को अधिक अन्न देता है, वह यज्ञकर्मो द्वारा अपनी संतान का पालन करता है. अग्नि अप्रज्वलित रहने पर सदा हिंसा करते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
The host who gives more food to the Ashchinikumaras while dividing the yagna, follows his offspring through yajnakarmo. Fires perpetually commit violence when they remain unexplored. (4)
सम॒श्विनो॒रव॑सा॒ नूत॑नेन मयो॒भुवा॑ सु॒प्रणी॑ती गमेम । आ नो॑ र॒यिं व॑हत॒मोत वी॒राना विश्वा॑न्यमृता॒ सौभ॑गानि ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम अश्चरिनीकुमारों की रक्षा एवं शोभन आगमन को प्राप्त करें. हे मरणरहितो! तुम हमें सब सपंत्ति, संतान तथा सभी प्रकार का सौभाग्य दो. (५)
EN English Translation
Let us protect the Ashcharinikumars and achieve shobhan's arrival. Oh, without death! You give us all the children, the children, and all kinds of good fortune. (5)
