सं वां॒ कर्म॑णा॒ समि॒षा हि॑नो॒मीन्द्रा॑विष्णू॒ अप॑सस्पा॒रे अ॒स्य । जु॒षेथां॑ य॒ज्ञं द्रवि॑णं च धत्त॒मरि॑ष्टैर्नः प॒थिभिः॑ पा॒रय॑न्ता ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र एवं विष्णु! मैं तुम्हारे निमित्त स्तोत्र एवं हवि प्रदान करता हूं. इस उक्थ की समाप्ति पर तुम यज्ञ का सेवन करना. हमें उपद्रवरहित मार्ग पर पार ले जाने वाले तुम दोनों धन दो. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra and Vishnu! I offer you hymns and hymns. At the end of this uqth you consume the yajna. Give us both the money that you take us across on the path without disturbance. (1)
या विश्वा॑सां जनि॒तारा॑ मती॒नामिन्द्रा॒विष्णू॑ क॒लशा॑ सोम॒धाना॑ । प्र वां॒ गिरः॑ श॒स्यमा॑ना अवन्तु॒ प्र स्तोमा॑सो गी॒यमा॑नासो अ॒र्कैः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे समस्त स्तुतियों के जनक एवं कलशरूप में सोमरस के आधार इंद्र एवं विष्णु! बोली जाती हुई स्तुतियां तुम्हें प्राप्त हों. स्तोताओं द्वारा गाए जाते हुए स्तोत्र तुम्हारे पास पहुंचें. (२)
EN English Translation
O father of all praises and indra and vishnu, the base of somras in the form of kalash! May you receive spoken praises. Reach out to you as you sing by the psalms. (2)
इन्द्रा॑विष्णू मदपती मदाना॒मा सोमं॑ यातं॒ द्रवि॑णो॒ दधा॑ना । सं वा॑मञ्जन्त्व॒क्तुभि॑र्मती॒नां सं स्तोमा॑सः श॒स्यमा॑नास उ॒क्थैः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मदकारक-सोम के स्वामी इंद्र एवं विष्णु! तुम धन देते हुए सोमरस के सामने आओ स्तोताओं के स्तोत्र एवं बोले जाते हुए उवथ तुम्हें तेज के साथ प्राप्त हों. (३)
EN English Translation
O Lord indra and vishnu of madkaraka-soma! You come before Someras while giving money, the psalms of the psalms and you will get the spoken uwath with glory. (3)
आ वा॒मश्वा॑सो अभिमाति॒षाह॒ इन्द्रा॑विष्णू सध॒मादो॑ वहन्तु । जु॒षेथां॒ विश्वा॒ हव॑ना मती॒नामुप॒ ब्रह्मा॑णि शृणुतं॒ गिरो॑ मे ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र एवं विष्णु! हिंसकों को हराने वाले एवं परस्पर प्रसन्न होने वाले घोड़े तुम्हें वहन करें. तुम स्तोताओं के समस्त स्तोत्रों के साथ-साथ मेरे स्तुतिवचनों को भी सुनो. (४)
EN English Translation
O Indra and Vishnu! Let the horses that defeat the violent and be mutually happy bear you. Listen to all the psalms of the psalms as well as my praises. (4)
इन्द्रा॑विष्णू॒ तत्प॑न॒याय्यं॑ वां॒ सोम॑स्य॒ मद॑ उ॒रु च॑क्रमाथे । अकृ॑णुतम॒न्तरि॑क्षं॒ वरी॒योऽप्र॑थतं जी॒वसे॑ नो॒ रजां॑सि ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र एवं विष्णु! तुम सोम के नशे में महान् कर्म करते हो, अंतरिक्ष को विस्तृत बनाते हो एवं लोगों को हमारे जीवन में उपयोगी बनाते हो. ये सब कर्म प्रशंसा के योग्य हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
O Indra and Vishnu! You do great deeds in the intoxication of Mon, broaden the space and make people useful in our lives. All these deeds are worthy of praise. (5)
इन्द्रा॑विष्णू ह॒विषा॑ वावृधा॒नाग्रा॑द्वाना॒ नम॑सा रातहव्या । घृता॑सुती॒ द्रवि॑णं धत्तम॒स्मे स॑मु॒द्रः स्थः॑ क॒लशः॑ सोम॒धानः॑ ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम द्वारा बढ़े हुए इंद्र एवं विष्णु! तुम घी एवं अन्न से युक्त हो. तुम सोम के उत्तम भाग का सेवन करने वाले यजमानों द्वारा नमस्कार के साथ हव्य प्रदान करने वाले हो. तुम सागर एवं कलश के रूप में सोम के आधार हो. तुम हमें धन दो. (६)
EN English Translation
O Indra and Vishnu increased by Som! You are rich in ghee and food. You are going to be greeted with salutations by the hosts who consume the best part of the Mon. You are the base of the mon as the ocean and the kalash. You give us the money. (6)
इन्द्रा॑विष्णू॒ पिब॑तं॒ मध्वो॑ अ॒स्य सोम॑स्य दस्रा ज॒ठरं॑ पृणेथाम् । आ वा॒मन्धां॑सि मदि॒राण्य॑ग्म॒न्नुप॒ ब्रह्मा॑णि शृणुतं॒ हवं॑ मे ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे दर्शनीय इंद्र एवं विष्णु! तुम इस नशीले सोमरस को पीकर अपना पेट भरो. नशीला सोम अन्न के रूप में तुम्हें प्राप्त हो. तुम मेरी स्तुतियां और पुकार सुनो. (७)
EN English Translation
O seeable Indra and Vishnu! You fill your stomach by drinking this intoxicating somras. Intoxicating Mon get you as food. You hear my praises and my call. (7)
उ॒भा जि॑ग्यथु॒र्न परा॑ जयेथे॒ न परा॑ जिग्ये कत॒रश्च॒नैनोः॑ । इन्द्र॑श्च विष्णो॒ यदप॑स्पृधेथां त्रे॒धा स॒हस्रं॒ वि तदै॑रयेथाम् ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे विजयी इंद्र एवं विष्णु! तुम कभी हारते नहीं हो. इन दोनों में कोई भी हारने वाला नहीं है. तुमने जिसे तीन स्थानों पर स्थित किया एवं असंख्य वस्तुओं के लिए असुरों के साथ स्पर्धा की, उसे अपने पराक्रम से पा लिया. (८)
EN English Translation
O victorious Indra and Vishnu! You never lose. None of these two are going to lose. You have found the one whom you have located in three places and competed with the asuras for innumerable things by your might. (8)
