अग्ने॒ भव॑ सुष॒मिधा॒ समि॑द्ध उ॒त ब॒र्हिरु॑र्वि॒या वि स्तृ॑णीताम् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! तुम शोभन-समिधाओं द्वारा प्रज्वलित बनो. अध्वर्यु कुश फैलावें. (१)
EN English Translation
O agni! You become ignited by shobhan-samidahas. The adhyryu kush spreads. (1)
उ॒त द्वार॑ उश॒तीर्वि श्र॑यन्तामु॒त दे॒वाँ उ॑श॒त आ व॑हे॒ह ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! देवों की कामना करने वाले यज्ञशालाद्वारों का आश्रय लो एवं यज्ञ की कामना करने वाले देवों को इस यज्ञ में लाओ. (२)
EN English Translation
O agni! Take shelter of the yajnashaladwaras who wish for the gods and bring the gods who wish for the yajna to this yajna. (2)
अग्ने॑ वी॒हि ह॒विषा॒ यक्षि॑ दे॒वान्स्व॑ध्व॒रा कृ॑णुहि जातवेदः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे जातवेद अग्नि! तुम देवों के सामने जाओ, हवि द्वारा देवों का यज्ञ करो और उन्हें शोभनयज्ञ वाला बनाओ. (३)
EN English Translation
O Jativeda Agni! You go before the gods, perform the yajna of the gods by the havi and make them the adornment. (3)
स्व॒ध्व॒रा क॑रति जा॒तवे॑दा॒ यक्ष॑द्दे॒वाँ अ॒मृता॑न्पि॒प्रय॑च्च ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे जातवेद अग्नि! तुम मरणरहित देवों को शोभनयज्ञ वाला करो, हवि से उनका यज्ञ करो और उन्हें स्तोत्रों से प्रसन्न करो. (४)
EN English Translation
O Jativeda Agni! You should make the godless without death a bearer yajna, perform their yajna with havi and please them with hymns. (4)
वंस्व॒ विश्वा॒ वार्या॑णि प्रचेतः स॒त्या भ॑वन्त्वा॒शिषो॑ नो अ॒द्य ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे विशिष्ट बुद्धि वाले अग्नि! हमें सब संपत्तियां दो. हमारे आशीर्वाद आज सच्चे हों. (५)
EN English Translation
O agni with a specific intellect! Give us all the properties. May our blessings be true today. (5)
त्वामु॒ ते द॑धिरे हव्य॒वाहं॑ दे॒वासो॑ अग्न ऊ॒र्ज आ नपा॑तम् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे बलपुत्र अग्नि! तुम्हें उन्हीं देवों ने हव्य वहन करने वाला बनाया है. (६)
EN English Translation
O son of strength, agni! It is these gods who have made you to bear the same. (6)
ते ते॑ दे॒वाय॒ दाश॑तः स्याम म॒हो नो॒ रत्ना॒ वि द॑ध इया॒नः ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे दीप्तिशाली अग्नि! हम हव्यदाताओं को याचना करने पर महान् धन दो. (७)
EN English Translation
O glorious agni! We give great money to the devotees for requesting. (7)
