प्राग्नये॑ त॒वसे॑ भरध्वं॒ गिरं॑ दि॒वो अ॑र॒तये॑ पृथि॒व्याः । यो विश्वे॑षाम॒मृता॑नामु॒पस्थे॑ वैश्वान॒रो वा॑वृ॒धे जा॑गृ॒वद्भिः॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तोताओ! प्रवृद्ध एवं अंतरिक्ष व धरती पर चलने वाले अग्नि की स्तुति करो. वे वैश्वानर अग्नि यज्ञ में जागने वाले मरणरहित देवों के साथ बढ़ते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
This stotao! Praise the inspired and the agni that runs on space and earth. They grow up with the dying-free gods waking up in the Vaishnavar Agni Yajna. (1)
पृ॒ष्टो दि॒वि धाय्य॒ग्निः पृ॑थि॒व्यां ने॒ता सिन्धू॑नां वृष॒भः स्तिया॑नाम् । स मानु॑षीर॒भि विशो॒ वि भा॑ति वैश्वान॒रो वा॑वृधा॒नो वरे॑ण ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सरिताओं के नेता, जलों को बरसाने वाले एवं तेजयुक्त जो अग्नि धरती और आकाश में गतिशील होते हैं, वे ही वैश्वानर अग्नि उत्तम हव्य के द्वारा बढ़ते हुए मानव प्रजाओं के सामने शोभा पाते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
The leaders of the Saritas, the ones who rain the waters and the bright ones who are moving in the agni earth and the sky, they are the ones who are adorned in front of the human beings growing up through the best human beings. (2)
त्वद्भि॒या विश॑ आय॒न्नसि॑क्नीरसम॒ना जह॑ती॒र्भोज॑नानि । वैश्वा॑नर पू॒रवे॒ शोशु॑चानः॒ पुरो॒ यद॑ग्ने द॒रय॒न्नदी॑देः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वैश्वानर अग्नि! उस समय तुम्हारे भय से काले रंग की प्रजाएं आपस में बिखरकर भोजन त्यागती हुई भाग गई थीं, जिस समय तुमने दीप्त होकर राजा पुरु के कल्याण के लिए उसके शत्रु के नगरों को जलाया था. (३)
EN English Translation
O global agni! At that time, out of your fear, the black people had fled, scattering among themselves and giving up food, at which time you were overwhelmed and burned the cities of his enemy for the welfare of King Puru. (3)
तव॑ त्रि॒धातु॑ पृथि॒वी उ॒त द्यौर्वैश्वा॑नर व्र॒तम॑ग्ने सचन्त । त्वं भा॒सा रोद॑सी॒ आ त॑त॒न्थाज॑स्रेण शो॒चिषा॒ शोशु॑चानः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वैश्वानर अग्नि! धरती, आकाश और स्वर्ग-तीनों तुम्हें प्यारा लगने वाला काम करते हैं. तुम नित्य तेज से दीप्तिमान होकर धरती-आकाश को विस्तृत करते हो. (४)
EN English Translation
O global agni! Earth, sky, and heaven do what you love. You expand the earth and the sky by constantly shining brightly. (4)
त्वाम॑ग्ने ह॒रितो॑ वावशा॒ना गिरः॑ सचन्ते॒ धुन॑यो घृ॒ताचीः॑ । पतिं॑ कृष्टी॒नां र॒थ्यं॑ रयी॒णां वै॑श्वान॒रमु॒षसां॑ के॒तुमह्ना॑म् ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वैश्वानर अग्नि! तुम प्रजाओं के स्वामी, धनों के नेता तथा उषाओं व दिवसों के केतु हो. तुम्हारी कामना करते हुए अश्व एवं मानवों की पापरहित तथा हव्ययुक्त स्तुतियां तुम्हारी सेवा करती हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
O global agni! You are the lord of the people, the leader of the wealth, and the ketu of the ushas and the days. The sinless and human praises of the horse and the human beings, while wishing you, serve you. (5)
त्वे अ॑सु॒र्यं१॒॑ वस॑वो॒ न्यृ॑ण्व॒न्क्रतुं॒ हि ते॑ मित्रमहो जु॒षन्त॑ । त्वं दस्यू॒ँरोक॑सो अग्न आज उ॒रु ज्योति॑र्ज॒नय॒न्नार्या॑य ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मित्रों की पूजा करने वाले अग्नि! वसुओं ने तुम में बल धारण किया है एवं तुम्हारे यज्ञ को स्वीकार किया है. तुम यज्ञकर्ता के लिए अधिक तेज उत्पन्न करते हुए दस्युओं को उनके स्थान से निकालो. (६)
EN English Translation
O agni that worships friends! Vasus have instilled strength in you and accepted your yajna. You bring the bandits out of their place, creating more speed for the yagyakar. (6)
स जाय॑मानः पर॒मे व्यो॑मन्वा॒युर्न पाथः॒ परि॑ पासि स॒द्यः । त्वं भुव॑ना ज॒नय॑न्न॒भि क्र॒न्नप॑त्याय जातवेदो दश॒स्यन् ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वैश्वानर! परम व्योम में तुम सूर्यरूप से उत्पन्न होकर वायु के समान सबसे पहले सोमरस पीते हो. हे जातवेद अग्नि! तुम जलों को उत्पन्न करते हुए एवं पुत्रवत् पालनीय यजमान की अभिलाषाएं पूरी करते हुए बिजली के रूप में गरजते हो. (७)
EN English Translation
O global! In the ultimate Vyom you are born of the sun and drink somras first like the air. O Jativeda Agni! You roar as electricity, producing water and fulfilling the wishes of a putra-loving host. (7)
ताम॑ग्ने अ॒स्मे इष॒मेर॑यस्व॒ वैश्वा॑नर द्यु॒मतीं॑ जातवेदः । यया॒ राधः॒ पिन्व॑सि विश्ववार पृ॒थु श्रवो॑ दा॒शुषे॒ मर्त्या॑य ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे जातवेद, सबके द्वारा वरणीय एवं वैश्वानर अग्नि! तुम हमें वही दीप्तिमान अन्न दो, जिसके द्वारा तुम धन की रक्षा करते हो एवं हव्यदाता मनुष्य को विस्तृत कीर्ति देते हो. (८)
EN English Translation
O JataVeda, the divine and the global agni by all! You give us the same radiant grain by which you protect wealth and give a great record to the human being. (8)
तं नो॑ अग्ने म॒घव॑द्भ्यः पुरु॒क्षुं र॒यिं नि वाजं॒ श्रुत्यं॑ युवस्व । वैश्वा॑नर॒ महि॑ नः॒ शर्म॑ यच्छ रु॒द्रेभि॑रग्ने॒ वसु॑भिः स॒जोषाः॑ ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! हम धनस्वामियों को बहुत सा अन्न, धन एवं प्रसिद्ध बल दो. हे वैश्वानर अग्नि! बुम रुद्रों एवं वसुओं के साथ समान प्रीति-वाले होकर हमें महान् सुख दो. (९)
EN English Translation
O agni! We give a lot of food, wealth and famous strength to the richest. O global agni! Bum, having equal love with rudras and vasus, give us great happiness. (9)
