Mandal 7 • Sukta 52
आ॒दि॒त्यासो॒ अदि॑तयः स्याम॒ पूर्दे॑व॒त्रा व॑सवो मर्त्य॒त्रा । सने॑म मित्रावरुणा॒ सन॑न्तो॒ भवे॑म द्यावापृथिवी॒ भव॑न्तः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे आदित्यो! हम अखंडनीय हों. हे वसु नामक रक्षक देवो! तुम मनुष्यों के पालक बनो. हे मित्रावरुण! तुम्हारी सेवा करते हुए हम धन को भोगें. हे द्यावा-पृथिवी! तुम्हारी कृपा से हम विभूतिसंपन्न हों. (१)
EN English Translation
Hey Aditya! We are integrable. O protector named Vasu! You become the guardian of humans. This friend! Let us enjoy the wealth while serving you. This is the earth! By your grace, may we be blessed. (1)
मि॒त्रस्तन्नो॒ वरु॑णो मामहन्त॒ शर्म॑ तो॒काय॒ तन॑याय गो॒पाः । मा वो॑ भुजेमा॒न्यजा॑त॒मेनो॒ मा तत्क॑र्म वसवो॒ यच्चय॑ध्वे ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मित्र एवं वरुण हमें प्रसिद्ध सुख दें एवं हमारे पुत्र-पौत्रों की रक्षा करें. दूसरे के किए हुए अपराध का फल हम न भोगें. हे वसुओ! हम वह कर्म न करें, जिसके कारण तुम नाश कर देते हो. (२)
EN English Translation
May friends and Varuna give us famous happiness and protect our sons and grandsons. Let us not bear the fruits of the sin sins of others. O Vasuo! Let us not do what you destroy because of. (2)
तु॒र॒ण्यवोऽङ्गि॑रसो नक्षन्त॒ रत्नं॑ दे॒वस्य॑ सवि॒तुरि॑या॒नाः । पि॒ता च॒ तन्नो॑ म॒हान्यज॑त्रो॒ विश्वे॑ दे॒वाः सम॑नसो जुषन्त ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
शीघ्रता करने वाले अंगिराओं ने सविता देव से याचना करके उनका जो रमणीय धन प्राप्त किया था, वसिष्ठ के पिता महान् यज्ञशील वरुण एवं अन्य समस्त देव समान रूप से प्रसन्न होकर वही धन हमें दें. (३)
EN English Translation
The joyous wealth that the hasty Angiras had received from Savita Dev by begging Savita Dev, Vasishtha's father, the great sacrificial Varuna and all the other gods alike, and give us the same wealth. (3)
