इ॒दं ह॑ नू॒नमे॑षां सु॒म्नं भि॑क्षेत॒ मर्त्यः॑ । आ॒दि॒त्याना॒मपू॑र्व्यं॒ सवी॑मनि ॥ (१)

इस समय अदितिपुत्र देवों की प्रेरणा से स्तोता अभिनव सुख की याचना करें. (१)

At this time, with the inspiration of the Aditiputra Devas, ask for the innovative happiness of The Stota. (1)
ब॒भ्रुरेको॒ विषु॑णः सू॒नरो॒ युवा॒ञ्ज्य॑ङ्क्ते हिर॒ण्यय॑म् ॥ (१)

पीले रंग वाले, सर्वत्र गतिशील, रात्रियों के नेता, युवक एवं अकेले सोमदेव सोने के गहने प्रकाशित करते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
The yellow ones, the all-round dynamic, the leaders of the nights, the young men and somdev alone publish gold ornaments. (1)
यो राजा॑ चर्षणी॒नां याता॒ रथे॑भि॒रध्रि॑गुः । विश्वा॑सां तरु॒ता पृत॑नानां॒ ज्येष्ठो॒ यो वृ॑त्र॒हा गृ॒णे ॥ (१)

मैं प्रजाओं के राजा, रथ द्वारा चलने वाले, गमन में निर्बाध, सभी सेनाओं को तारने वाले, ज्येष्ठ एवं वृत्रह॑ता इंद्र की स्तुति करता हूं. (१)
EN English Translation
I praise Indra, the king of the people, who walks by the chariot, who walks uninterrupted in transit, who has wired all armies, the eldest and the vrithrahuta. (1)
न॒हि वो॒ अस्त्य॑र्भ॒को देवा॑सो॒ न कु॑मार॒कः । विश्वे॑ स॒तोम॑हान्त॒ इत् ॥ (१)

हे देवो! तुम में कोई शिशु या कुमार नहीं है. तुम सभी महान् हो. (१)

Oh, God! There is no baby or kumar in you. You're all great. (1)
उद्घेद॒भि श्रु॒ताम॑घं वृष॒भं नर्या॑पसम् । अस्ता॑रमेषि सूर्य ॥ (१)

हे शोभन वीर्य वाले इंद्र! तुम प्रसिद्ध धन वाले, अभिलाषापूरक, मानवहितैषी एवं दाता यजमान के चारों ओर जाते हो. (१)

O Indra with shobhan semen! You go around the famous rich, pro-people, pro-people, human-friendly and donor host. (1)
यो यजा॑ति॒ यजा॑त॒ इत्सु॒नव॑च्च॒ पचा॑ति च । ब्र॒ह्मेदिन्द्र॑स्य चाकनत् ॥ (१)

जो यजमान यज्ञ करता है, देवों के लिए हव्य देता है, सोमरस निचोड़ता है एवं पुरोडाश पकाता है, वह इंद्र संबंधी मंत्रों को बार-बार बोलता है. (१)
EN English Translation
The host who performs yajna, gives a havya for the gods, squeezes the somras and cooks the purodash, speaks the mantras of Indra again and again. (1)
त्वं नो॑ अग्ने॒ महो॑भिः पा॒हि विश्व॑स्या॒ अरा॑तेः । उ॒त द्वि॒षो मर्त्य॑स्य ॥ (१)

हे अग्नि! तुम महाधन देकर दानरहित लोगों से हमारी रक्षा करो एवं हमें शत्रु लोगों से बचाओ. (१)

O agni! Protect us from the unspoken people by giving us great money and save us from the enemy. (1)
तं गू॑र्धया॒ स्व॑र्णरं दे॒वासो॑ दे॒वम॑र॒तिं द॑धन्विरे । दे॒व॒त्रा ह॒व्यमोहि॑रे ॥ (१)

हे स्तोताओ! सबके नेता प्रसिद्ध अग्नि की स्तुति करो. ऋत्विज् सबके स्वामी अग्नि देव के समीप जाते हैं एवं देवों को हव्य देते हैं. (१)

This stotao! Praise the famous agni leader of all. The lord of all the ritwijs goes to the agni god and gives a greeting to the gods. (1)
प्र कृ॒तान्यृ॑जी॒षिणः॒ कण्वा॒ इन्द्र॑स्य॒ गाथ॑या । मदे॒ सोम॑स्य वोचत ॥ (१)

हे कण्वगोत्रीय ऋषियो! जब इंद्र अपनी कहानी सुनकर प्रसन्न हो जावें, तब तुम ऋजीष वाले सोम का वर्णन करो. (१)

O kanvagotrian sages! When Indra is pleased to hear his story, then you describe the sage-wali som. (1)
ह॒विष्कृ॑णुध्व॒मा ग॑मदध्व॒र्युर्व॑नते॒ पुनः॑ । वि॒द्वाँ अ॑स्य प्र॒शास॑नम् ॥ (१)

हे अध्वर्युगण! अग्नि आए हैं. तुम उन्हें शीघ्र हव्य दो. हव्य देना जानने वाले अध्वर्यु यज्ञ की पुनः सेवा करते हैं. (१)

O teacher! The agni has come. You give them a quick note. Those who know how to give a greeting serve the adhwaryu yajna again. (1)
त्वाव॑तः पुरूवसो व॒यमि॑न्द्र प्रणेतः । स्मसि॑ स्थातर्हरीणाम् ॥ (१)

हे अधिक धन वाले व यज्ञकर्म के पार ले जाने वाले इंद्र! हम तुम्हारे समान व्यक्ति के आश्रित हैं. तुम हरि नामक घोड़ों के स्वामी हो. (१)

O Indra, who has more wealth and leads to the journey of yajnakarma! We are dependents of a person like you. You are the master of horses named Hari. (1)
प्र यद्वस्त्रष्टुभमिषं मरुतो विप्रो अक्षरत्, वि पर्वतेषु राजथ.. (१)

हे मरुतो! जब विद्वान् ब्राहमण तीनों सवनों में प्रशंसनीय अन्न डालते हैं, तब तुम पर्वतो में प्रकाशित होते हो. (१)

O Maruto! When the learned Brahmins pour praiseworthy food into the three sawas, you are illuminated in the mountains. (1)
गौर्ध॑यति म॒रुतां॑ श्रव॒स्युर्मा॒ता म॒घोना॑म् । यु॒क्ता वह्नी॒ रथा॑नाम् ॥ (१)

धनवान् मरुतों की माता, अन्न की अभिलाषा करने वाली, मरुतों को संयुक्त करने वाली एवं सर्वत्र पूजनीय पृश्चि मरुतों को सोमरस पिलाती हैं. (१)

The mother of the rich, the one who desires food, the one who unites the maruts and the revered earth everywhere, gives somras to the maruts. (1)
उदी॑राथामृताय॒ते यु॒ञ्जाथा॑मश्विना॒ रथ॑म् । अन्ति॒ षद्भू॑तु वा॒मवः॑ ॥ (१)

अश्चिनीकुमारो! यज्ञ की अभिलाषा करने वाले मेरे लिए उन्नत बनो एवं यज्ञ में आने के लिए रथ में घोड़े जोड़ो. तुम्हारी रक्षा हमारे समीप रहे. (१)

Aschinikumaro! Be elevated to me who wish for the yajna and add horses to the chariot to come to the yajna. May your defense be near us. (1)
आ ग॑न्ता॒ मा रि॑षण्यत॒ प्रस्था॑वानो॒ माप॑ स्थाता समन्यवः । स्थि॒रा चि॑न्नमयिष्णवः ॥ (१)

हे प्रस्थान करने वाले मरुतो! आओ. तुम हमें मत मारना. तुम समानरूप से क्रोधित होने पर दृढ़ पर्वतों को भी कंपा सकते हो. तुम हमसे दूर मत रहो. (१)

O departing Maruto! Come. Don't you kill us. You can also tremble the firm mountains when you are equally angry. Don't stay away from us. (1)
आ त्वा॒ गिरो॑ र॒थीरि॒वास्थुः॑ सु॒तेषु॑ गिर्वणः । अ॒भि त्वा॒ सम॑नूष॒तेन्द्र॑ व॒त्सं न मा॒तरः॑ ॥ (१)

हे स्तुतिपात्र इंद्र! सोमरस निचुड़ जाने पर हमारी स्तुतियां रथ पर बैठे वीरों के समान तुम्हारे पास स्थित होती हैं. हे इंद्र! गाएं जिस प्रकार बछड़ों को देखकर रंभाती है, उसी प्रकार हमारी स्तुतियां तुमसे संबंधित हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
O you of praise Indra! When we go to Someras Nichud, our hymns are near you like the heroes sitting on the chariot. O Indra! Just as the singing is thrilled to see the calves, so our praises belong to you. (1)
व॒यं घ॑ त्वा सु॒ताव॑न्त॒ आपो॒ न वृ॒क्तब॑र्हिषः । प॒वित्र॑स्य प्र॒स्रव॑णेषु वृत्रह॒न्परि॑ स्तो॒तार॑ आसते ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! सोमरस निचोड़ने वाले हम लोग इस प्रकार तुम्हारे पास आते हैं, जैसे जल नीचे की ओर जाता है. पवित्र सोमरस निचुड़ जाने पर कुश बिछाने वाले स्तोता तुम्हारी सेवा करते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra! We, who squeeze the somras, come to you like the water goes down. The hymns laying the kush serve you when the holy somras go to Nikud. (1)
अ॒स्मा उ॒षास॒ आति॑रन्त॒ याम॒मिन्द्रा॑य॒ नक्त॒मूर्म्याः॑ सु॒वाचः॑ । अ॒स्मा आपो॑ मा॒तरः॑ स॒प्त त॑स्थु॒र्नृभ्य॒स्तरा॑य॒ सिन्ध॑वः सुपा॒राः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र से डरी हुई उषाएं अपनी गति बढ़ाती रहती हैं. इंद्र के कारण ही सब रात्रियां निशांत में शोभनवाक्यों वाली बनती हैं. इंद्र के कारण ही सात नदियां मानव हितकारिणी एवं सरलता से पार होने योग्य रहती हैं. (१)

Usha, who is afraid of Indra, keeps increasing their speed. It is because of Indra that all the nights become adorned in Nishant. It is because of Indra that the seven rivers are able to cross with human benefit and ease. (1)
महि॑ वो मह॒तामवो॒ वरु॑ण॒ मित्र॑ दा॒शुषे॑ । यमा॑दित्या अ॒भि द्रु॒हो रक्ष॑था॒ नेम॒घं न॑शदने॒हसो॑ व ऊ॒तयः॑ सुऊ॒तयो॑ व ऊ॒तयः॑ ॥ (१)

हे महान् मित्र एवं वरुण! हवि देने वाले यजमान की तुम जो रक्षा करते हो, वह महान् है. हे आदित्यो! तुम शत्रु के हाथ से जिस यजमान की रक्षा करते हो, उसे पाप नहीं छू सकता. तुम्हारी रक्षाएं उपद्रवरहित एवं शोभन हैं. (१)

Great friends and Varun! What you protect the host who gives the havi is great. Hey Aditya! Sin cannot touch the host you protect from the enemy's hand. Your defenses are hassle-free and benign. (1)
वि॒शोवि॑शो वो॒ अति॑थिं वाज॒यन्तः॑ पुरुप्रि॒यम् । अ॒ग्निं वो॒ दुर्यं॒ वचः॑ स्तु॒षे शू॒षस्य॒ मन्म॑भिः ॥ (१)

हे अन्नाभिलाषी ऋत्विजो एवं यजमानो! तुम सारी प्रजा के अतिथि एवं बहुतों के प्रिय अग्नि की सेवा स्तुति द्वारा करो. मैं तुम्हारी सुखप्राप्ति के लिए सुंदर स्तुतियों द्वारा गूढ़वचन बोलता हूं. (१)

O annibhilashi ritvizo and hosts! Serve the agni, the guests of all the people and the beloved of many, by praise. I speak the deepest word through beautiful praises for your happiness. (1)
आ नो विश्वाभिरूतिभिरश्चिना गच्छतं युवम्, दस्रा हिरण्यवर्तनी पिबतं सोम्यं मधु.. (१)

हे दर्शनीय अश्विनीकुमारो! अपने सोने के रथ द्वारा सभी रक्षासाधनों को लेकर आओ एवं मधुर सोमरस पिओ. (१)

O spectacular Ashwinikumaro! Bring all the protective means by your gold chariot and drink the sweet somras. (1)
एन्द्र॑ याहि॒ हरि॑भि॒रुप॒ कण्व॑स्य सुष्टु॒तिम् । दि॒वो अ॒मुष्य॒ शास॑तो॒ दिवं॑ य॒य दि॑वावसो ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम अपने हरि नामक घोड़ों के द्वारा कण्वगोत्रीय ऋषियों की सुंदर स्तुति के सामने आओ. हे दीप्तहवि वाले इंद्र! तुम झुलोक का शासन करते हो, इसलिए द्युलोक में जाओ. (१)

O Indra! You come out in front of the beautiful praise of the Kanvagotriya sages through your horses called Hari. O Indra of Deepthahavi! You rule the jhuloka, so go to Duloka. (1)
व॒यमु॒ त्वाम॑पूर्व्य स्थू॒रं न कच्चि॒द्भर॑न्तोऽव॒स्यवः॑ । वाजे॑ चि॒त्रं ह॑वामहे ॥ (१)

हे अपूर्व इंद्र! हम रक्षा पाने की इच्छा से तुम्हें सोमरस द्वारा पुष्ट करके इस प्रकार बुलाते हैं, जैसे कोई गुणी मनुष्य को बुलाता है. तुम संग्राम में भांति-भांति के रूप धारण करते हो. (१)

O you indomitable Indra! We call you by affirming you by somers, with the desire to be protected, as if someone calls upon a virtuous man. You take different forms in the struggle. (1)
यु॒क्ष्वा हि दे॑व॒हूत॑मा॒ँ अश्वा॑ँ अग्ने र॒थीरि॑व । नि होता॑ पू॒र्व्यः स॑दः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! रथी जिस प्रकार घोड़ों को रथ में जोड़ता है, उसी प्रकार तुम भी देवों को बुलाने में कुशल अपने घोड़ों को रथ में जोड़ो. तुम प्रधान होता बनकर बैठो. (१)

O agni! Just as the charioter adds horses to the chariot, so you also add your horses to the chariot, skilled in calling the gods. You sit down as the chief. (1)
मा चि॑द॒न्यद्वि शं॑सत॒ सखा॑यो॒ मा रि॑षण्यत । इन्द्र॒मित्स्तो॑ता॒ वृष॑णं॒ सचा॑ सु॒ते मुहु॑रु॒क्था च॑ शंसत ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मित्र स्तोताओ! तुम इंद्र के अतिरिक्त किसी की स्तुति मत करो. तुम क्षीण मत बनो. सोमरस निचुड़ जाने पर एकत्र होकर अभिलाषापूरक इंद्र की स्तुति करते हुए बार-बार स्तोत्र बोलो. (१)
EN English Translation
This friend, Stotao! You don't praise anyone other than Indra. You don't be weak. When you go to Someras Nichud, gather and say hymns again and again praising the desireful Indra. (1)
स्वा॒दोर॑भक्षि॒ वय॑सः सुमे॒धाः स्वा॒ध्यो॑ वरिवो॒वित्त॑रस्य । विश्वे॒ यं दे॒वा उ॒त मर्त्या॑सो॒ मधु॑ ब्रु॒वन्तो॑ अ॒भि सं॒चर॑न्ति ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
शोभन-बुद्धि एवं अध्ययन से युक्त मैं अत्यंत पूजा प्राप्त करने वाले एवं स्वादिष्ट अन्न का भक्षण कर सकूं. विश्वेदेव एवं सभी मनुष्य उस अन्न को मधु कहते हुए घूमते हैं. (१)

With a lot of wisdom and study, I can eat highly worshiped and delicious food. Vishwedev and all human beings roam around calling that grain honey. (1)
या इ॑न्द्र॒ भुज॒ आभ॑रः॒ स्व॑र्वा॒ँ असु॑रेभ्यः । स्तो॒तार॒मिन्म॑घवन्नस्य वर्धय॒ ये च॒ त्वे वृ॒क्तब॑र्हिषः ॥ (१)

हे सुखयुक्त एवं धनस्वामी इंद्र! तुम असुरों के पास से जो धन छीन लाये हो, उस धन से स्तोता को बढ़ाओ. वह स्तोता तुम्हारे लिए कुश बिछा चुका है. (१)

O happy and rich Indra! Increase the hymn with the money you have taken away from the asuras. That hymn has laid the cushion for you. (1)
आ नूनमश्चिना युवं वत्सस्य गन्तमवसे. प्रास्मै यच्छतमवृकं पृथु च्छर्दिर्युयुतं या अरातयः. (१)

हे अश्विनीकुमारो! तुम वत्स ऋषि की रक्षा के लिए निश्चित रूप से गए थे. तुम इन्हें बाधारहित एवं विस्तृत घर दो एवं इनके शत्रुओं को समाप्त करो. (१)

O Ashwinikumaro! You definitely went to protect the Sage Vatsa. Give them unhindered and wide houses and put an end to their enemies. (1)
अ॒ग्निनेन्द्रे॑ण॒ वरु॑णेन॒ विष्णु॑नादि॒त्यै रु॒द्रैर्वसु॑भिः सचा॒भुवा॑ । स॒जोष॑सा उ॒षसा॒ सूर्ये॑ण च॒ सोमं॑ पिबतमश्विना ॥ (१)

हे अश्चिनीकुमारो! तुम अग्नि, इंद्र, वरुण, विष्णु, आदित्यों, रुद्रों, वसुओं उषा तथा सूर्य के साथ मिलकर सोमरस पिओ. (१)

O aschinikumaro! You drink somras together with Agni, Indra, Varuna, Vishnu, Adityas, Rudras, Vasus, Usha and Surya. (1)
अग्न॒ आ या॑ह्य॒ग्निभि॒र्होता॑रं त्वा वृणीमहे । आ त्वाम॑नक्तु॒ प्रय॑ता ह॒विष्म॑ती॒ यजि॑ष्ठं ब॒र्हिरा॒सदे॑ ॥ (१)

हे अग्नि! तुम यज्ञ के योग्य अन्य अग्नियों के साथ आओ. हम होता के रूप में तुम्हारा वरण करते हैं. अध्वर्युजनों द्वारा हाथों में उठाया गया एवं घृतपूर्ण खुच तुम्हें कुशों पर सब ओर बैठावे. (१)

O agni! You come with other agnis worthy of yajna. We choose you as we would. May the cowards, raised in their hands and disgusted, make you sit all over the kushas. (1)
