अग्निनाग्निः समिध्यते कविर्गृहपतिर्युवा । हव्यवाड्जुह्वास्यः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप कवि, विद्वान्, युवा, हविवाहक व यज्ञ के रक्षक हैं. आप को समिधा से प्रज्वलित किया जाता है. (१)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are a poet, scholar, youth, husband and protector of yajna. You are ignited with samidha. (1)
यस्त्वामग्ने हविष्पतिर्दूतं देव सपर्यति । तस्य स्म प्राविता भव ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप हविपति तथा देवदूत हैं. आप की जो विधिवत रक्षा करते हैं, आप उन की रक्षा करने की कृपा कीजिए. (२)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are a god and an angel. Please protect those who duly protect you. (2)
यो अग्निं देववीतये हविष्माँ आविवासति । तस्मै पावक मृडय ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप हविमान हैं. हम देवताओं को हवि पहुंचाने के लिए आप से अनुरोध करते हैं. आप पवित्र हैं. आप हमें सुखी बनाने की कृपा कीजिए. (३)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are a human being. We request you to deliver havi to the gods. You are holy. Please make us happy. (3)
मित्रँ हुवे पूतदक्षं वरुणं च रिशादसम् । धियं घृताचीँ साधन्ता ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मित्र! आप पवित्र और दक्ष हैं. हे वरुण! आप जल उपजाते हैं. आप दोनों देव हमें बुद्धि प्रदान कीजिए. आप हमें साधिए एवं हमारे शत्रुओं का नाश कीजिए. हम आप दोनों देवों का आह्वान करते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
Hey friend! You are pure and efficient. O Varuna! You grow water. May you two gods give us wisdom. You save us and destroy our enemies. We call upon both of you gods. (4)
ऋतेन मित्रावरुणावृतावृधावृतस्पृशा । क्रतुं बृहन्तमाशाथे ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मित्र! हे वरुण! आप सत्य के रक्षक हैं. आप यज्ञ को सफल बनाते हैं. आप हमें भी पुण्यशाली व सत्य का रक्षक बनाइए. (५)
EN English Translation
Hey friend! O Varuna! You are the protector of truth. You make the yajna a success. You also make us virtuous and protectors of truth. (5)
कवी नो मित्रावरुणा तुविजाता उरुक्षया । दक्षं दधाते अपसम् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मित्र! हे वरुण! आप दक्ष, जलधारी, कवि व अनेक स्थानों पर वास करते हैं. आप हमें क्षमतावान बनाते हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
Hey friend! O Varuna! You are skilled, water-clad, poet and live in many places. You make us capable. (6)
इन्द्रेण सँ हि दृक्षसे सञ्जग्मानो अबिभ्युषा । मन्दू समानवर्च्चसा ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मरुद्गण! आप समान वर्चस्व वाले सदैव प्रसन्न रहते हैं. आप तेजोमय, वीर व भयमुक्त हैं. आप इंद्र के साथ सुशोभित होते हैं. (७)
EN English Translation
O Desertion! You are always happy with equal domination. You are bright, brave and fearless. You are adorned with Indra. (7)
आदह स्वधामनु पुनर्गर्भत्वमेरिरे । दधाना नाम यज्ञियम् ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मरुद्गण! आप पूजनीय व नामधारी हैं. आप अपने धाम (नष्ट होने के बाद फिर से उत्पन्न होने वाले अन्न और जल) में गर्भ धारण कर के आकार प्राप्त करते हैं. आप यज्ञ को धारण करते हैं. (८)
EN English Translation
O Desertion! You are revered and named. You attain the shape of by conceiving in your dham (food and water that is produced again after being destroyed). You wear yajna. (8)
वीडु चिदारुजत्नुभिर्गुहा चिदिन्द्र वह्निभिः । अविन्द उस्रिया अनु ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप मजबूत से मजबूत किले को भी ढहा सकते हैं. आप गूढ़ से गूढ़ गुफा में भी प्रवेश कर सकते हैं. आग जैसे तेजस्वी मरुद्गण रुकी हुई किरणों को प्रकाश में लाते हैं. (९)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You can also demolish the strongest fort. You can also enter the enigmatic cave. Flashy deserts like agni bring the stalled rays to light. (9)
ता हुवे ययोरिदं पप्ने विश्वं पुरा कृतम् । इन्द्राग्नी न मर्धतः ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हे अग्नि! आप पराक्रमी उपासको के सारे कष्ट हरने वाले व सनातन हैं. हम आप दोनों देवों का आह्वान करते हैं. (१०)
EN English Translation
O Indra! O agni! You are the destroyer of all the sufferings of the mighty worshippers and are eternal. We call upon both of you gods. (10)
उग्रा विघनिना मृध इन्द्राग्नी हवामहे । ता नो मृडात ईदृशे ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हे अग्नि! आप उग्र व विघ्ननाशी हैं. हम यज्ञ में आप दोनों देवों का आह्वान करते हैं. आप दोनों देव हमें सुखी बनाने की कृपा कीजिए. (११)
EN English Translation
O Indra! O agni! You are furious and obstructionist. We invoke both of you gods in the yajna. Please both of you Gods to make us happy. (11)
हथो वृत्राण्यार्या हथो दासानि सत्पती । हथो विश्वा अप द्विषः ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हे अग्नि! आप श्रेष्ठ देव, आर्यो के पालनहार सभी द्वेषों को दूर करने वाले व सत्पति हैं. आप दुश्मनों को दूर करने वाले हैं. (१२)
EN English Translation
O Indra! O agni! You are the best god, the sustainer of the Aryans, the remover of all hatreds and the satpati. You are going to remove enemies. (12)
