असृग्रमिन्दवः पथा धर्मन्नृतस्य सुश्रियः । विदाना अस्य योजना ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप ऋत् (सत्य) व श्रेष्ठ मार्ग पर चलते हैं. आप यज्ञ व यजमान को भलीभांति जानते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You walk on the path of truth and superior. You know the yajna and the host very well. (1)
प्र धारा मधो अग्रियो महीरपो वि गाहते । हविर्हविःषु वन्द्यः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सोम हवियों में श्रेष्ठ हवि व वंदनीय हैं. आप की धारा उत्कृष्ट, मधुर एवं अग्रणी है. आप की धारा जल में अवगाहन करती है. (२)
EN English Translation
Som is the best of the havis and revered. Your stream is excellent, sweet and leading. Your stream flows into the water. (2)
प्र युजा वाचो अग्रियो वृषो अचिक्रदद्वने । सद्माभि सत्यो अध्वरः ॥ (३)

हे सोम! आप का मार्ग सत्यता का है. आप शक्तिमान, अग्रणी व वाणी को जोड़ने वाले हैं. सोम जल के साथ यज्ञशाला के भीतर प्रवेश करते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
O Mon! Your path is of truth. You are going to connect shaktimaan, leading and speech. Som enters the yagyashala with water. (3)
परि यत्काव्या कविर्नृम्णा पुनानो अर्षति । स्वर्वाजी सिषासति ॥ (४)

सोम कवि हैं. कवि सोम जैसे ही मनुष्य की स्तुति स्वीकारते हैं, वैसे ही इंद्र यज्ञ स्थान पर अपनी शक्ति सहित आने के लिए तैयार हो जाते है. (४)
EN English Translation
Som is a poet. As soon as poet Som accepts the praise of man, Indra is ready to come to the yagna place with his power. (4)
पवमानो अभि स्पृधो विशो राजेव सीदति । यदीमृण्वन्ति वेधसः ॥ (५)

सोम पवित्र हैं. वे राजा के समान सुशोभित होते हैं. वे प्रजा के संरक्षण हेतु शन्रुओं का नाश करने के लिए तैयार रहते हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
Som is holy. They are adorned like a king. They are ready to destroy the shanrus for the protection of the people. (5)
अव्या वारे परि प्रियो हरिर्वनेषु सीदति । रेभो वनुष्यते मति ॥ (६)

सोमरस जल से ओतप्रोत और हरी आभा वाला है. सोम यजमान की प्रार्थनाओं को स्वीकार रहे हैं. वे आवाज करते हुए द्रोणकलश में स्थान ग्रहण कर रहे हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
Someras is full of water and has a green aura. Som is accepting the prayers of the host. They are taking place in Dronakalash while making a sound. (6)
स वायुमिन्द्रमश्विना साकं मदेन गच्छति । रणा यो अस्य धर्मणा ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो यजमान धर्मपूर्वक सोमरस को निचोड़ते हैं, वे वायु, इंद्र और अश्विनीकुमारों के साथ आनंद प्राप्त करते हैं. (७)
EN English Translation
The hosts who religiously squeeze Someras attain bliss with vayu, indra and ashwinikumaras. (7)
आ मित्रे वरुणे भगे मधोः पवन्त ऊर्मयः । विदाना अस्य शक्मभिः ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! यजमान आप को (आप की सामर्थ्य को) जान सकें. मित्र, वरुण व भग के लिए आप की मधुर एवं पवित्र लहरें उमड़ती हैं. (८)
EN English Translation
O Mon! May the host know you (your power). For friends, Varun and Bhag, your sweet and holy waves rise. (8)
अस्मभ्यँ रोदसी रयिं मध्वो वाजस्य सातये । श्रवो वसूनि सञ्जितम् ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप स्वर्गलोक तथा पृथ्वीलोक के स्वामी हैं. हमें आप शक्ति और अपार वैभव प्रदान करने की कृपा कीजिए. हम आप से संचित वैभव पाना चाहते हैं. (९)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are the swami of heaven and earth. Please give us strength and immense glory. We want to get accumulated glory from you. (9)
आ ते दक्षं मयोभुवं वह्निमद्या वृणीमहे । पान्तमा पुरुस्पृहम् ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप दक्ष व वल्लिमान (प्रकाशमान) हैं. आप को बहुत लोग चाहते हैं. हम आप के बल और शक्ति को प्राप्त करना चाहते हैं. (१०)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are skilled and illuminated. Many people want you. We want to achieve your strength and power. (10)
आ मन्द्रमा वरेण्यमा विप्रमा मनीषिणम् । पान्तमा पुरुस्पृहम् ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप को बहुत लोग चाहते हैं. आप वरेण्य, ब्राह्मण, मनीषी व संरक्षणशील हैं. हम आप की उपासना करते हैं. (११)
EN English Translation
O Mon! Many people want you. You are a varenya, Brahmin, mystic and protector. We worship you. (11)
आ रयिमा सुचेतुनमा सुक्रतो तनूष्वा । पान्तमा पुरुस्पृहम् ॥ (१२)

हे सोम! आप को बहुत लोग चाहते हैं. आप श्रेष्ठ यज्ञ वाले और उत्तम कार्य करने वाले हैं. आप हमें धन, बल और संतान प्रदान करने की कृपा कीजिए. (१२)
EN English Translation
O Mon! Many people want you. You are the one with the best yajna and the one who does the best work. Please give us money, strength and children. (12)
