पान्तमा वो अन्धस इन्द्रमभि प्र गायत । विश्वासाहँ शतक्रतुं मँहिष्ठं चर्षणीनाम् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे याजको (यज्ञ करने वालो)! आप इंद्र की विशेष स्तुति करें. वे शत्रुओं का नाश करने वाले हैं. सैकड़ों कर्म करने वाले हैं. वे धन दाता हैं. वे सोमरस का पान करने वाले हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
O yajko (those who perform yajna)! You should specially praise Indra. They are the destroyers of enemies. There are hundreds of karma karmics. They are money givers. They are going to drink someras. (1)
प्र व इन्द्राय मादनँ हर्यश्वाय गायत । सखायः सोमपाव्ने ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे साधको! इंद्र हरि नामक घोड़े वाले हैं. वे सोमरस पीने वाले हैं. आप इन इंद्र को प्रसन्न करने वाली प्रार्थनाएं गाइए. (२)
EN English Translation
O seekers! There is a horse named Indra Hari. They are somers drinkers. You sing these prayers that please Indra. (2)
वयमु त्वा तदिदर्था इन्द्र त्वायन्तः सखायः । कण्वा उक्थेभिर्जरन्ते ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हम आप को अपना मित्र बनाना चाहते हैं. हम आप के मित्र होना चाहते हैं. हम कण्ववंशी हैं. हम आप की स्तुति करना अपना कर्तव्य मानते हैं. हम आप की स्तुति कर रहे हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
O Indra! We want to make you our friend. We want to be friends of you. We are Kanvavanshis. We consider it our duty to praise you. We are praising you. (3)
इन्द्राय मद्वने सुतं परि ष्टोभन्तु नो गिरः । अर्कमर्चन्तु कारवः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप प्रसन्न स्वभाव वाले हैं. हम आप के लिए निचोड़े गए सोमरस की स्तुति करते हैं. यज्ञ करने वालों से निवेदन है कि सोमरस की स्तुति करें. सोमरस पूजा योग्य है. (४)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are happy. We praise the somers squeezed for you. Those who perform yajna are requested to praise Someras. Someras is worthy of worship. (4)
अयं त इन्द्र सोमो निपूतो अधि बर्हिषि । एहीमस्य द्रवा पिब ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! वेदी के आसन पर आप के लिए शुद्ध कर के सोमरस रखा हुआ है. आप इस स्थान पर शीघ्र पधारिए. आप इस सोमरस को ग्रहण कीजिए. (५)
EN English Translation
O Indra! On the seat of the altar, someras is kept pure for you. You get to this place soon. You accept this somersa. (5)
सुरूपकृत्नुमूतये सुदुघामिव गोदुहे । जुहूमसि द्यविद्यवि ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप सुंदर कार्य करने वाले हैं. हम आप को अपने संरक्षण के लिए उसी प्रकार बुलाते हैं, जिस प्रकार अच्छा दूध देने वाली गाय को पुकारा जाता है. (६)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are going to do beautiful work. We call you for our protection in the same way as a cow that gives good milk is called. (6)
अभि त्वा वृषभा सुते सुतँ सृजामि पीतये । तृम्पा व्यश्नुही मदम् ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप इच्छा पूरी करने वाले हैं. हम सोम यज्ञ में पीने के लिए आप को सोमरस अर्पित कर रहे हैं. आप आनंददायी सोमरस ग्रहण कीजिए. (७)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are going to fulfill the wish. We are offering somras to you to drink in som yagya. You take the joyful Sommers. (7)
य इन्द्र चमसेष्वा सोमश्चमूषु ते सुतः । पिबेदस्य त्वमीशिषे ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप के लिए सोमरस 'चमस' और 'ग्रह' नामक बरतनों में रखा हुआ है. आप इसे अवश्य ग्रहण कीजिए. आप बहुत सामर्थ्य वाले हैं. (८)
EN English Translation
O Indra! For you, Someras is kept in utensils called 'Chamas' and 'Planet'. You must accept it. You are very capable. (8)
योगेयोगे तवस्तरं वाजेवाजे हवामहे । सखाय इन्द्रमूतये ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हम हर शुभ काम के शुरू में आप को आमंत्रित करते हैं. हर तरह के संग्राम (युद्ध, कष्ट) में आप को आमंत्रित करते हैं. हम अपने संरक्षण के लिए मित्र की तरह आप को आमंत्रित करते हैं. (९)
EN English Translation
O Indra! We invite you at the start of every auspicious work. Invite you to all kinds of struggles (war, suffering). We invite you like friends for your protection. (9)
आ त्वेता नि षीदतेन्द्रमभि प्र गायत । सखायः स्तोमवाहसः ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यज्ञ करने वाले मित्रो! आप जल्दीजल्दी आओ. आ कर बैठ जाओ. आप हर प्रकार से इंद्र की स्तुति करो. (१०)
EN English Translation
O friends who perform yajna! You come soon. Come and sit down. Praise Indra in every way. (10)
