कस्ते जामिर्जनानामग्ने को दाश्वध्वरः । को ह कस्मिन्नसि श्रितः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! मनुष्यों में कौन आप का सगा, पथ प्रदर्शक, यज्ञकर्ता व आप के स्वरूप का ज्ञाता है? आप का आश्रय कहां है? (१)
EN English Translation
O agni! Who among human beings is your real, guide, sacrificer and knower of your nature? Where is your shelter? (1)
त्वं जामिर्जनानामग्ने मित्रो असि प्रियः । सखा सखिभ्य ईड्यः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! मनुष्यों में कौन आप का मित्र है, प्रिय है? सखा सखियों में कौन आप को सर्वाधिक प्रिय है? (२)
EN English Translation
O agni! Who among men is your friend, dear? Who among the Sakha Sakhis is most dear to you? (2)
यजा नो मित्रावरुणा यजा देवाँ ऋतं बृहत् । अग्ने यक्षि स्वं दमम् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप हमारे लिए मित्र और वरुण की पूजा करने की कृपा कीजिए. आप बहुत से देवताओं की पूजा करने की कृपा कीजिए. आप यज्ञ की पूजा कीजिए. (३)
EN English Translation
O agni! Please worship friends and Varuna for us. Please worship many gods. You worship the yajna. (3)
ईडेन्यो नमस्यस्तिरस्तमाँसि दर्शतः । समग्निरिध्यते वृषा ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप पूजनीय, नमन के योग्य, तमहारी व दर्शनीय हैं. आप को समिधाओं से भलीभांति प्रज्वलित किया जाता है. (४)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are revered, worthy of salutation, tamhari and visible. You are well lit with samidhas. (4)
वृषो अग्निः समिध्यतेऽश्वो न देववाहनः । तँ हविष्मन्त ईडते ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप शक्तिशाली हैं. घोड़े जैसे वाहन को ले जाते हैं, वैसे ही आप देवताओं के वाहन को ले जाते हैं. हे हविमान! आप हमारी प्रार्थनाएं स्वीकारिए. (५)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are powerful. Just as horses carry a vehicle, so you carry the vehicle of the gods. O Haviman! You accept our prayers. (5)
वृषणं त्वा वयं वृषन्वृषणः समिधीमहि । अग्ने दीद्यतं बृहत् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप शक्तिमान हैं. हम शक्तिमान आप को प्राप्त करने की इच्छा रखते हैं. हम समिधाओं से आप को प्रज्वलित करते हैं. आप दीप्तिमान व विशाल हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are powerful. We wish to get the powerful you. We ignite you with samidhas. You are radiant and huge. (6)
उत्ते बृहन्तो अर्चयः समिधानस्य दीदिवः । अग्ने शुक्रास ईरते ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! हम समिधाओं से आप को प्रज्वलित करते हैं. हमारी अधिक अर्चना से आप ज्चालाओं से बढ़ोतरी प्राप्त करते हैं. (७)
EN English Translation
O agni! We ignite you with samidhas. With more of our archana, you get an increase from the hikes. (7)
उप त्वा जुह्वो३ मम घृताचीर्यन्तु हर्यत । अग्ने हव्या जुषस्व नः ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! हमारी घी से भरी हुई हवि आप का मन हरे. वह आप तक पहुंचे. हे अग्नि! आप हमारी उपासना को स्वीकार करने की कृपा कीजिए. (८)
EN English Translation
O agni! Our ghee-filled havi is green in your mind. He reached out to you. O agni! Please accept our worship. (8)
मन्द्रँ होतारमृत्विजं चित्रभानुं विभावसुम् । अग्निमीडे स उ श्रवत् ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप देवताओं के होता, आनंददाता, अद्भुत, वैभववान व प्रकाशमान हैं. आप हमारी स्तुतियां सुनने की कृपा कीजिए. (९)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are the creator, the giver of joy, the wonderful, the glorious and the light of the gods. Please listen to our praises. (9)
पाहि नो अग्न एकया पाह्यू३त द्वितीयया । पाहि गीर्भिस्तिसृभिरूर्जां पते पाहि चतसृभिर्वसो ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप एक स्तुति सुन कर हमारी रक्षा कीजिए. आप दूसरी स्तुति सुन कर हमारी रक्षा कीजिए. आप तीसरी स्तुति सुन कर हमारी रक्षा कीजिए. आप चौथी स्तुति सुन कर हमारी रक्षा कीजिए. (१०)
EN English Translation
O agni! You hear a compliment and protect us. You hear the second praise and protect us. You hear the third compliment and protect us. You hear the fourth compliment and protect us. (10)
पाहि विश्वस्माद्रक्षसो अराव्णः प्र स्म वाजेषु नोऽव । त्वामिद्धि नेदिष्ठं देवतातय आपिं नक्षामहे वृधे ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप सारी राक्षसी व स्वार्थी प्रवृत्तियों से हमारी रक्षा कीजिए. आप हमारे हितैषी हैं. आप हमारे अभीष्ट देव हैं. हम आप की शरण में हैं. (११)
EN English Translation
O agni! You protect us from all demonic and selfish tendencies. You are our benefactor. You are our desired god. We are in your shelter. (11)
