क्ष॒त्रस्य॒ योनि॑रसि क्ष॒त्रस्य॒ नाभि॑रसि । मा त्वा॑ हिꣳसी॒न्मा मा॑ हिꣳसीः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वेदिके! आप क्षत्रिय का उत्पत्ति स्थान हैं. आप क्षत्रिय की नाभि हैं. यह आसन आप को कष्ट न दे. आप भी हमें कष्ट मत दीजिए. (१)
EN English Translation
O Vedika! You are the place of origin of Kshatriya. You are the navel of a Kshatriya. Do not give this asana to you. You also don't trouble us. (1)
निष॑साद धृ॒तव्र॑तो॒ वरु॑णः प॒स्त्यास्वा । साम्रा॑ज्याय सु॒क्रतुः॑ । मृ॒त्योः पा॑हि वि॒द्योत् पा॑हि ॥ (२)

आप ब्रतधारी, वरुण, पालक और साम्राज्य के लिए सैकड़ों यज्ञ करने वाले हैं. आप विद्युत् के उत्पात से रक्षा कीजिए. आप मृत्यु से बचाइए. (२)

You are going to perform hundreds of yagyas for Bratdhari, Varuna, Palak and Sambharaj. You protect against electrical nuisance. You save from death. (2)
दे॒वस्य॑ त्वा सवि॒तुः प्र॑स॒वेऽश्विनो॑र्बा॒हुभ्यां॑ पू॒ष्णो हस्ता॑भ्याम् । अ॒श्विनो॒र्भैष॑ज्येन॒ तेज॑से ब्रह्मवर्च॒साया॒भि षि॑ञ्चामि॒ सर॑स्वत्यै॒ भैष॑ज्येन वी॒र्याया॒न्नाद्याया॒भि षि॑ञ्चा॒मीन्द्र॑स्येन्द्रि॒येण॒ बला॑य श्रि॒यै यश॑से॒ऽभि षि॑ञ्चामि ॥ (३)

हम देवता सविता देव व अश््विनीकुमारों की बाहु हेतु आप को प्रतिष्ठित करते हैं. हम पूषा देव के हाथों के लिए आप को प्रतिष्ठित करते हैं. हम अश्विनीकुमारों की चिकित्सा के तेज से आप को प्रतिष्ठित करते हैं. हम ब्रहज्ञान के वर्चस्व हेतु आप को प्रतिष्ठित करते हैं. हम सरस्वती देवी के ओषधि उपचार से आप को प्रतिष्ठित करते हैं. हम अन्न व पराक्रम प्राप्ति हेतु आप को प्रतिष्ठित करते हैं. हम इंद्र देव के इंद्रिय बल व यश हेतु आप का अभिषेक करते हैं. (३)

We revere you for the arm of the gods Savita Dev and Ashwini Kumars. We associate you for the hands of Pusha Dev. We distinguished you with the speed of medicine of Ashwinikumars. We associate you with the supremacy of Brahmagyan. We associate you with the medicinal treatment of Saraswati Devi. We honor you for getting food and might. We anoint you for the strength of Indra Dev's sense. (3)
को॑ऽसि कत॒मोऽसि॒ कस्मै॑ त्वा॒ काय॑ त्वा । सुश्लो॑क॒ सुम॑ङ्गल॒ सत्य॑राजन् ॥ (४)

आप कौन हैं ? आप कौन से प्रजापति हैं? आप किस के लिए हैं ? किस के लिए आप को प्रतिष्ठित किया जाता है? आप की अच्छे श्लोक से स्तुति की जाती है. आप अच्छे कल्याणकारी, सत्यवान व राजा हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
Who are you? Which Prajapati are you? What are you for? What are you reputed for? You are praised with a good verse. You are a good benefactor, truthful and king. (4)
शिरो॑ मे॒ श्रीर्यशो॒ मुखं॒ त्विषिः॒ केशा॑श्च॒ श्मश्रू॑णि । राजा॑ मे प्रा॒णोऽअ॒मृत॑ꣳ स॒म्राट् चक्षु॑र्वि॒राट् श्रोत्र॑म् ॥ (५)

हमारा सिर, मुख, केश व मूंें शोभायुक्त हों. हमारे प्राण राजा,अमृत व सम्राट हों. हमारे नेत्र सब कुछ देखने वाले हों. हमारे कान विराट् हों. (५)
EN English Translation
May our head, mouth, hair and mouth be adorned. May our souls be kings, nectar and emperors. Let our eyes see everything. Let our ears be huge. (5)
जि॒ह्वा मे॑ भ॒द्रं वाङ् महो॒ मनो॑ म॒न्युः स्व॒राड् भामः॑ । मोदाः॑ प्रमो॒दा अ॒ङ्गुली॒रङ्गा॑नि मि॒त्रं मे॒ सहः॑ ॥ (६)

हमारी जीभ कल्याणकारी वचन बोले. बाणी महिमा युक्त हो. मन अन्याय पर क्रोध करे. हमारी अंगुलियां आमोदप्रमोद दें. हमारे मित्र हमारे साथ रहें. (६)
EN English Translation
Our tongues speak welfare promises. The queen is full of glory. The mind should be angry at injustice. Give our fingers a smile. Our friends stay with us. (6)
बा॒हू मे॒ बल॑मिन्द्रि॒यꣳ हस्तौ॑ मे॒ कर्म॑ वी॒र्यम् । आ॒त्मा क्ष॒त्रमुरो॒ मम॑ ॥ (७)

हमारे बाहु और इंद्रियां बल युक्त हों. हमारे दोनों हाथ पुरुषार्थी हों. हमारी आत्मा और हृदय क्षत्रिय धर्म के अनुकूल हों. (७)

Let our arms and senses be strong. Both our hands should be powerful. Let our mind and heart be aligned with Kshatriya(warrior) dharma. (7)
पृ॒ष्ठीर्मे॑ रा॒ष्ट्रमु॒दर॒मꣳसौ॑ ग्री॒वाश्च॒ श्रोणी॑ । ऊ॒रूऽअ॑र॒त्नी जानु॑नी॒ विशो॒ मेऽङ्गा॑नि स॒र्वतः॑ ॥ (८)

हमारी पीठ राष्ट्र जैसी हो. पेट, दोनों कंधे, गरदन, दोनों कूल्हे, दोनों जंघाएं, कमर, घुटने आदि हमारे अंग सब ओर से प्रजा का पोषण करें. (८)

Let our back be like a nation. Stomach, both shoulders, neck, both hips, both thighs, waist, knees etc. (8)
नाभि॑र्मे चि॒त्तं वि॒ज्ञानं॑ पा॒युर्मेऽप॑चितिर्भ॒सत् । आ॒न॒न्द॒न॒न्दावा॒ण्डौ मे॒ भगः॒ सौभा॑ग्यं॒ पसः॑ । जङ्घा॑भ्यां प॒द्भ्यां धर्मो॑ऽस्मि वि॒शि राजा॒ प्रति॑ष्ठितः ॥ (९)

हमारी नाभि और चित्त विशिष्ट ज्ञान युक्त हों. हमारी गुदा संतुलित हो. हमारे वृषण आनंद युक्त हों. हमारी स्त्रियों के अंग सौभाग्यशाली हों. जांघों, पैरों से हम धर्माचरण करें. हम समाज में राजा की भांति प्रतिष्ठित हों. (९)

Our navel and mind should be equipped with specific knowledge. Our anus be balanced. May our testes be blissful. May our women's limbs be fortunate. We should follow dharma with thighs, feet. Let us be as kings in society. (9)
प्रति॑ क्ष॒त्रे प्रति॑ तिष्ठामि रा॒ष्ट्रे प्रत्यश्वे॑षु॒ प्रति॑ तिष्ठामि॒ गोषु॑ । प्रत्यङ्गे॑षु॒ प्रति॑ तिष्ठाम्या॒त्मन् प्रति॑ प्रा॒णेषु॒ प्रति॑ तिष्ठामि पु॒ष्टे प्रति॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒व्योः प्रति॑ तिष्ठामि य॒ज्ञे ॥ (१०)

हम क्षत्रियों में प्रतिष्ठा पाते हैं. हम राष्ट्र में प्रतिष्ठा पाते हैं. हम घोड़ों में प्रतिष्ठा पाते हैं. हम गायों में प्रतिष्ठा पाते हैं. हम प्रत्यंगों में प्रतिष्ठा पाते हैं. हम आत्मा में प्रतिष्ठा पाते हैं. हम प्राणों में प्रतिष्ठा पाते हैं. हम पुष्टि में प्रतिष्ठा पाते हैं. हम स्वर्गलोक में प्रतिष्ठा पाते हैं. हम पृथ्वी में प्रतिष्ठा पाते हैं. हम यज्ञ में प्रतिष्ठा पाते हैं. We find prestige among Kshatriyas. We find prestige in the nation. We find prestige in horses. We find prestige in cows. We find prestige in the wings. We find prestige in spirit. We find prestige in the soul. We find reputation in confirmation. We find prestige in heaven. We find prestige in the earth. We get prestige in yajna. (10)
त्र॒या दे॒वा एका॑दश त्रयस्त्रि॒ꣳशाः सु॒राध॑सः । बृह॒स्पति॑पुरोहिता दे॒वस्य॑ सवि॒तुः स॒वे । दे॒वा दे॒वैर॑वन्तु मा ॥ (११)

ग्यारह से तिगुने यानी तैंतीस देव तीन समूह में ऐश्वर्य से युक्त बृहस्पति को पुरोहित बना कर देवताओं के अनुशासन में रहें. देवता अपनी दिव्य सामर्थ्य से हमारी रक्षा करने की कृपा करें. (११)
EN English Translation
Eleven to three times that is, thirty-three gods, in three groups, make Jupiter with riches as priests and remain in the discipline of the gods. May the gods please protect us with their divine power. (11)
प्र॒थ॒मा द्वि॒तीयै॑र्द्वि॒तीया॑स्तृ॒तीयै॑स्तृ॒तीयाः॑ स॒त्येन॑ स॒त्यं य॒ज्ञेन॑ य॒ज्ञो यजु॑र्भि॒र्यजू॑षि॒ साम॑भिः॒ सामा॑न्यृ॒ग्भिर्ऋचः॑ । पुरोऽनुवा॒क्याभिः पुरोऽनुवा॒क्या या॒ज्याभिर्या॒ज्या वषट्का॒रैर्व॑षट्का॒राऽ आहु॑तिभि॒राहु॑तयो मे॒ कामा॒न्त्सम॑र्धयन्तु॒ भूः स्वाहा॑ ॥ (१२)

प्रथम देवता दूसरे के साथ, दूसरे तीसरे देव के साथ युक्त होने की कृपा करें. सत्य को सत्य के साथ जोड़ें. यज्ञ को यज्ञ से जोड़ें. यजुर्वेद को सामवेद के साथ जोड़ें. सामवेद को ऋचाओं से जोड़ें. ऋचाएं पुरोनुवाक्या से युक्त हों. पुरोनुवाक्या यज्ञ मंत्रों से युक्त हों. आहुतियां हमारी कामनाएं सिद्ध करने की कृपा करें. (१२)
EN English Translation
Please be associated with the first deity with the second, the second third god. Link truth with truth. Connect yajna to yajna. Add Yajurveda with Samaveda. Connect the Samaveda to the verses. The verses should be full of puronuvaka. Puronuvakya should be equipped with yajna mantras. Please make sacrifices to fulfill our wishes. (12)
लोमा॑नि॒ प्रय॑ति॒र्मम॒ त्वङ् म॒ऽआन॑ति॒राग॑तिः । मा॒सं म॒ऽउप॑नति॒र्वस्वस्थि॑ म॒ज्जा म॒ऽआन॑तिः ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हमारे हर अंग के रोम जागें. हमारी त्वचा नरम व लुभावनी हो. हमारा मांस लचीला हो. अस्थियां पूरे शरीर का आधार बनें. हमारी मज्जा शरीर को नरमाई देने बाली हो. (१३)
EN English Translation
Wake up the follicles of each of our organs. Our skin should be soft and breathtaking. Let our meat be flexible. Bones should become the basis of the whole body. Our marrow is the bali to soften the body. (13)
यद्दे॑वा देव॒हेड॑नं॒ देवा॑सश्चकृ॒मा व॒यम् । अ॒ग्निर्मा॒ तस्मा॒देन॑सो॒ विश्वा॑न्मुञ्च॒त्वꣳह॑सः ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे देवो! आप दिव्यगुणों से ओतप्रोत हों. अग्नि हमें हमारे द्वारा किए गए सभी पापों से मुक्त करें. अग्नि ऐसे सभी कार्याँ से हमें बचाने की कृपा करें. (१४)
EN English Translation
O God! You are imbued with divine qualities. May agni free us from all the sins committed by us. Please save us from all such acts of agni. (14)
यदि॒ दिवा॒ यदि॒ नक्त॒मेना॑सि चकृ॒मा व॒यम् । वा॒युर्मा॒ तस्मा॒देन॑सो॒ विश्वा॑न्मुञ्च॒त्वꣳह॑सः ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम ने यदि दिन में कोई पाप किया हो, हम ने यदि रात में कोई पाप किया हो तो वायु हमारे द्वारा किए गए सभी पापों से हमें मुक्त करें. वायु हमें ऐसे सभी पापों से बचाने की कृपा करें. (१५)
EN English Translation
If we have committed any sin during the day, if we have committed any sin at night, then the wind will free us from all the sins committed by us. May Vayu bless us from all such sins. (15)
यदि॒ जाग्र॒द् यदि॒ स्वप्न॒ऽएना॑सि चकृ॒मा व॒यम् । सूर्यो॑ मा॒ तस्मा॒देन॑सो॒ विश्वा॑न्मुञ्च॒त्वꣳह॑सः ॥ (१६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जाग्रत अवस्था या सोती हुई अवस्था में जो कोई भी पाप हम ने किया हो तो सूर्य हमें उस पाप से बचाने की कृपा करों. (१६)

Whatever sin we have committed in the waking state or sleeping state, please the sun to save us from that sin. (16)
यद् ग्रामे॒ यदर॑ण्ये॒ यत्स॒भायां॒ यदि॑न्द्रि॒ये । यच्छू॒द्रे यदर्ये॒ यदेन॑श्चकृ॒मा व॒यं यदेक॒स्याधि॒ धर्म॑णि॒ तस्या॑व॒यज॑नमसि ॥ (१७)

जो ग्राम में, जो जंगल में, जो सभाओं में, जो इंद्रियों में हम ने पाप किए हैं, जो पाप शूदट्रों और वैश्यों के साथ किए हैं, अधिकार को धारण करने या उस का निर्वाह करने में जो पाप हम ने किए हैं, उन से हमें मुक्त करने की कृपा करें. (१७)

May we be pleased to free us from the sins we have committed in the village, in the forest, in the meetings, in the senses, the sins we have committed against shudaras and vaishyas, in possessing authority or in pursuing it. (17)
यदापो॑ऽअ॒घ्न्या इति॒ वरु॒णेति॒ शपा॑महे॒ ततो॑ वरुण नो मुञ्च । अव॑भृथ निचुम्पुण निचे॒रुर॑सि निचुम्पु॒णः । अव॑ दे॒वैर्दे॒वकृ॑त॒मेनो॑ऽय॒क्ष्यव॒ मर्त्यै॒र्मर्त्य॑कृतं पुरु॒राव्णो॑ देव रि॒षस्पा॑हि ॥ (१८)

जल में जो अनुचित हैं, उन के प्रति बरुण देव हमें शाप मुक्त करने की कृपा करें. हे बरुण! आप निरंतर गतिशील हैं. आप अपनी गति मंद करने की कृपा करें. देवताओं के प्रति देव कार्यों में जो पाप किए हैं, आप उन का प्रायश्त्त कराइए. मनुष्यों के प्रति मानवीय व्यवहार में जो पाप किए हैं. उन से बचाइए. शत्रुओं से रक्षा कीजिए. May Barun Dev bless us with the curse on those who are wrong in the water. O Barun! You are constantly dynamic. Please slow down your speed. You should atone for the sins committed in god's deeds towards the gods. The sins committed in human behavior towards human beings. Save them from them. Protect from enemies. (18)
स॒मु॒द्रे ते॒ हृद॑यम॒प्स्वन्तः सं त्वा॑ विश॒न्त्वोष॑धीरु॒तापः॑ । सु॒मि॒त्रि॒या न॒ऽआप॒ऽओष॑धयः सन्तु दुर्मित्रि॒यास्तस्मै॑ सन्तु॒ योऽस्मान् द्वेष्टि॒ यं च॑ व॒यं द्वि॒ष्मः ॥ (१९)

समुद्र के जलों में आप का हदय स्थित है. आप अंतःकरण से बहीं विराजते है. बहां जल के मेल से आप में ओषधियों के गुण समाहित हो जाते हैं. जलमय वे ओषधियां हमारे प्रति मैत्रीपूर्ण हों. जो हम से द्वेष करते हैं तथा जिन से हम द्वेष करते हैं उन के दुर्मिंत्र होइए. (१९)
EN English Translation
Your heart is located in the waters of the sea. You sit in the inner mind. By mixing water outside, you get the properties of medicines absorbed. May those medicines be friendly towards us. Be the mischief of those who hate us and those we hate. (19)
द्रु॒प॒दादि॑व मुमुचा॒नः स्वि॒न्नः स्ना॒तो मला॑दिव । पू॒तं प॒वित्रे॑णे॒वाज्य॒मापः॑ शुन्धन्तु॒ मैन॑सः ॥ (२०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
पवित्र किए हुए जल से हम वैसे ही पाप मुक्त हो जाएं, जैसे नहाते ही पसीने और मैल से मुक्त हो जाते हैं. जैसे छलनी से घी छाने पर मैल रहित हो जाता है, बैसे ही आप हमारे पाप छान लीजिए. (२०)
EN English Translation
With purified water, we become free from sin in the same way as we are freed from sweat and scum as soon as we bathe. Just as the ghee from the sieve becomes dirtless, you filter our sins. (20)
उद्व॒यं तम॑स॒स्परि॒ स्वः पश्य॑न्त॒ उत्त॑रम् । दे॒वं दे॑व॒त्रा सूर्य॒मग॑न्म॒ ज्योति॑रुत्त॒मम् ॥ (२१)

हम अंधकार से ऊपर, स्वर्गलोक व उत्तर दिशा में देखें. हम दिव्यदेव सूर्य की ओर जाएं. हम उत्तम ज्योति प्राप्त करें. (२१)

Let us look above darkness, heaven and north. Let us go towards the divine god sun. We get the best light. (21)
अ॒पोऽअ॒द्यान्व॑चारिष॒ꣳ रसे॑न॒ सम॑सृक्ष्महि । पय॑स्वाग्न॒ऽआग॑मं॒ तं मा॒ सꣳसृ॑ज॒ वर्च॑सा प्र॒जया॑ च॒ धने॑न च ॥ (२२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम ने आज जल में संचरण किया है. जल के संसर्ग से हम ने आज अपनेआप को प्रक्षालित किया (धोया) है. हे अग्नि देव! हम जल से पवित्र हो कर आप के पास आए हैं. आप हमारे लिए वर्चस्व, संतान और धन का सूजन कीजिए. (२२)

We have done transmission in water today. We have cleaned ourselves today with the contact of water. O God of Fire! We have come to you pure with water. You swell for us with supremacy, children and wealth. (22)
एधो॑ऽस्येधिषी॒महि॑ स॒मिद॑सि॒ तेजो॑ऽसि॒ तेजो॒ मयि॑ धेहि । स॒माव॑वर्ति पृथि॒वी समु॒षाः समु॒ सूर्यः॑ । समु॒ विश्व॑मि॒दं जग॑त् । वै॒श्वा॒न॒रज्यो॑तिर्भूयासं वि॒भून् कामा॒न् व्यश्नवै॒ भूः स्वाहा॑ ॥ (२३)

हे अग्नि! यह समिधा आप की बढ़ोतरी करती है. आप हमारी बढ़ोतरी करते हैं. आप तेजोमय हैं. हमारे लिए तेज धारिए, पृथ्वी हमें उत्तम सुख दे. सूर्य सुख दें. सारे जगत् को सुख दें. हम वैश्वानर की ज्योति हो जाएं. हम उन की कृपा से विविध कामनाओं की पूर्ति करें. अग्नि के लिए स्वाहा. (२३)

O agni! This samidha enhances you. You increase us. You are radiant. Sharp for us, may the earth give us the best happiness. Give the sun happiness. Give happiness to the whole world. Let us become the light of Vaishvanar. Let us fulfill various wishes with his grace. Swaha for agni. (23)
अ॒भ्याद॑धामि स॒मिध॒मग्ने॑ व्रतपते॒ त्वयि॑ । व्र॒तं च॑ श्र॒द्धां चोपै॑मी॒न्धे त्वा॑ दीक्षि॒तोऽअ॒हम् ॥ (२४)

हे अग्नि! हम आप के लिए समिधा धारते हैं. आप व्रत पति हैं. हम दीक्षित हैं. आप के प्रति व्रत और श्रद्धा समर्पित करते हैं. आप को प्रज्चलित करते हैं. (२४)

O agni! We hold the balance for you. You are a fasting husband. We are Dixits. Dedicate fast and reverence to you. Let's ignite you. (24)
यत्र॒ ब्रह्म॑ च क्ष॒त्रं च॑ स॒म्यञ्चौ॒ चर॑तः स॒ह । तं लो॒कं पुण्यं॒ प्रज्ञे॑षं॒ यत्र॑ दे॒वाः स॒हाग्निना॑ ॥ (२५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जहां ब्राह्मण और क्षत्रियजन साथसाथ विचरण करते हुए निर्वाह करते हैं. जहां देवगण अग्नि देव के साथ रहते हैं, हम उस पुण्य ज्ञानमय लोक को पाएं. (२५)

Where Brahmins and Kshatriyas live together. Where the devas live with the agni god, we should find that virtuous knowledgeable world. (25)
यत्रेन्द्र॑श्च वा॒युश्च॑ स॒म्यञ्चौ॒ चरतः स॒ह । तं लो॒कं पुण्यं॒ प्रज्ञे॑षं॒ यत्र॑ से॒दिर्न वि॒द्यते॑ ॥ (२६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जहां इंद्र देव और वायु साथसाथ विचरण करते हैं, हम उस पवित्र और ज्ञानमय लोक को प्राप्त करें. (२६)

Where Indra Dev and Vayu move together, let us attain that pure and enlightened world. (26)
अ॒ꣳशुना॑ ते अ॒ꣳशुः पृ॑च्यतां॒ परु॑षा॒ परुः॑ । ग॒न्धस्ते॒ सोम॑मवतु॒ मदा॑य॒ रसो॒ऽअच्यु॑तः ॥ (२७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
ओषधियों का रस सोमरस के साथ मिले. आप के कठोर अंग सोम के अंगों के साथ मिलें. आप की गंध सोम के साथ मिले. झरता हुआ रस हमें आनंदित करे. (२७)
EN English Translation
The juice of medicines was mixed with Someras. Meet with the limbs of the hard limb mon of you. You met with the smell of Mon. May the flowing juice make us happy. (27)

हे इंद्र देव! हम स्तुति के साथ आप को धान, धानमय वस्तुएं, दही, मालपूए आदि समर्पित कर रहे हैं. आप इन सब को स्वीकारने की कृपा कीजिए. (२९)

बृ॒हदिन्द्रा॑य गायत॒ मरु॑तो वृत्र॒हन्त॑मम् । येन॒ ज्योति॒रज॑नयन्नृता॒वृधो॑ दे॒वं दे॒वाय॒ जागृ॑वि ॥ (३०)

हे मरुदगण! इंद्र देव वृत्रहंता है. आप उन के लिए बृहत्साम गाइए, जिन्होंने ज्योति उत्पन्न की, अन्न की बढ़ोतरी की, देवों को देवों के लिए जाग्रत किया. (३०)
