इ॒मं मे॑ वरुण श्रु॒धी हव॑म॒द्या च॑ मृडय । त्वाम॑व॒स्युरा च॑के ॥ (१)

हे वरुण देव! हमारी प्रार्थना सुनने की कृपा करें. आज जो हम हवन कर रहे हैं, उस से हमें सुख प्रदान करें. हम अपनी रक्षा के लिए आप का आह्वान करते हैं. (१)

O Varun Dev! Please listen to our prayers. May we be blessed with the havan we are performing today. We call on you to protect us. (1)
तत्त्वा॑ यामि॒ ब्रह्म॑णा॒ वन्द॑मान॒स्तदाशा॑स्ते॒ यज॑मानो ह॒विर्भिः॑ । अहे॑डमानो वरुणे॒ह बो॒ध्युरु॑शꣳस॒ मा न॒ऽआयुः॒ प्र मो॑षीः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
ये यजमान ब्रहमज्ञानमय ऋचाओं से आप की बंदना कर रहे हैं. आहुतियां अर्पित कर रहे हैं. उन से आप यजमान पर प्रसन्न होइए. बरुण देव बहुप्रशंसित व देव पूजित हैं. आप जाग्रत होइए और हमारी आयु क्षीण मत कीजिए. (२)

These hosts are worshiping you with brahmagyanic verses. Offerings are made. Be happy with them. Barun Dev is highly acclaimed and Dev Pujat. You wake up and don't underestimate our age. (2)
त्वं नो॑ऽअग्ने॒ वरु॑णस्य वि॒द्वान् दे॒वस्य॒ हेडो॒ऽअव॑ यासिसीष्ठाः । यजि॑ष्ठो॒ वह्नि॑तमः॒ शोशु॑चानो॒ विश्वा॒ द्वेषा॑सि॒ प्र मु॑मुग्ध्य॒स्मत् ॥ (३)

हे अग्नि! आप विद्वान् हैं. आप आहुतियों को देवताओं तक पहुंचाने बाले हैं. आप यज्ञ में पूजित, बहुत दीप्तिमान व पवित्र हैं. आप वरुण देव को हम पर प्रसन्न कराइए. हमारे सभी द्वेषियों को नष्ट करने की कृपा कीजिए. (३)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are a scholar. You are the one who delivers the sacrifices to the gods. You are worshiped in yajna, very radiant and holy. Please varun dev on us. Please destroy all our malice. (3)
स त्वं नो॑ऽअग्नेऽव॒मो भ॑वो॒ती नेदि॑ष्ठोऽअ॒स्याऽउ॒षसो॒ व्युड्टष्टौ । अव॑ यक्ष्व नो॒ वरु॑ण॒ꣳ ररा॑णो वी॒हि मृ॑डी॒कꣳ सु॒हवो॑ नऽएधि ॥ (४)

हे अग्नि! प्रातः अपने रक्षा साधनों सहित हमारे पास पधारिए. हमारी रक्षा करने व आहुतियों को देवताओं तक पहुंचाने की कृपा कीजिए. आप उन्हें तृप्ति दीजिए. आप अच्छी तरह बुलाने योग्य हैं. आप इस सुखदायक आहुति को स्वीकारने की कृपा कीजिए. (४)
EN English Translation
O agni! Come to us in the morning with your defence equipment. Please protect us and deliver the sacrifices to the gods. You give them satisfaction. You are well called. Please accept this soothing sacrifice. (4)
म॒हीमू॒ षु मा॒तर॑ꣳ सुव्र॒ताना॑मृ॒तस्य॒ पत्नी॒मव॑से हुवेम । तु॒वि॒क्ष॒त्राम॒जर॑न्तीमुरू॒ची सु॒शर्मा॑ण॒मदितिꣳ सु॒प्रणी॑तिम् ॥ (५)

अदिति देवी महामहिमाशालिनी, माता, सुव्रतों वाली, अमर, कभी वृद्ध नहीं होने वाली हैं, सुखदायिनी व नीतित्ञा हैं. हम अपनी रक्षा हेतु उन का आह्वान करते हैं. (५)

Aditi Devi is mahamahimashalini, mata, suvraton wali, immortal, never going to grow old, happy and moral. We call upon them to protect ourselves. (5)
सु॒त्रामा॑णं पृथि॒वीं द्याम॑ने॒हस॑ꣳ सु॒शर्मा॑ण॒मदि॑तिꣳ सु॒प्रणी॑तिम् । दै॒वीं नाव॑ꣳ स्वरि॒त्रामना॑गस॒मस्र॑वन्ती॒मा रु॑हेमा स्व॒स्तये॑ ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
अदितिमाता भलीभांति रक्षा करने वाली, पृथ्वीलोक से स्वर्गलोक तक विस्तार वाली, अत्यंत सुखदायिनी, अच्छा आसरा (आश्रय) देने वाली, दोषरहित, मृत्यु का भय दूर करने वाली हैं. अपनेआप चलने वाली, बिना छेदों वाली इस नौका में आप की कृपा से हम आरोहण करें. हम अपने कल्याण के लिए उस पर चढ़ते हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
Aditimata is a well-protected, extending from earth to heaven, very pleasant, giving good shelter, flawless, removing the fear of death. Let us climb with your grace in this boat with no holes, which runs automatically, without holes. We climb on it for our welfare. (6)
सु॒नाव॒मा रु॑हेय॒मस्र॑वन्ती॒मना॑गसम् । श॒तारि॑त्रा स्वस्तये॑ ॥ (७)

यह नाव दोष रहित, बिना छेदों वाली, अपनेआप चलने वाली व सैकड़ों शत्रुओं से त्राण करने वाली है. हम अपने कल्याण के लिए इस पर आरूढ़ (चढ़ने) होने की कृपा करें. (७)
EN English Translation
This boat is flawless, without holes, running on its own and is prone to hundreds of enemies. May we be pleased to climb it for our welfare. (7)
आ नो॑ मित्रावरुणा घृ॒तैर्गव्यू॑तिमुक्षतम् । मध्वा॒ रजा॑सि सुक्रतू ॥ (८)

हे मित्र व वरुण देव! आप हमारे यहां गाय के घी से सीँचिए. आप हमारे खेतों को मधुर अमृत से सींचिए. (८)

O friend B Varun Dev! You irrigate us with cow's ghee here. You irrigate our fields with sweet nectar. (8)
प्र बा॒हवा॑ सिसृतं जी॒वसे॑ न॒ऽआ नो॒ गव्यू॑तिमुक्षतं घृ॒तेन॑ । आ मा॒ जने॑ श्रवयतं युवाना श्रु॒तं मे॑ मित्रावरुणा॒ हवे॒मा ॥ (९)

हे मित्र व वरुण देव! आप दोनों देव हमारी प्रार्थना सुनिए. आप अपनी भुजाएं फैला कर हमें आशीर्वाद व इस जीवन में यश दीजिए. आप हमारे यज्ञ को गाय के ची से व खेत को मधु अमृत से सींचिए. (९)

O friend B Varun Dev! You two gods listen to our prayers. Spread your arms and bless us and give us success in this life. You water our yajna with cow's chi and the field with honey nectar. (9)
शन्नो॑ भवन्तु वा॒जिनो॒ हवे॑षु दे॒वता॑ता मि॒तद्र॑वः स्व॒र्काः । ज॒म्भय॒न्तोऽहिं॒ वृक॒ꣳ रक्षा॑सि॒ सने॑म्य॒स्मद्यु॑यव॒न्नमी॑वाः ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मित्र व वरुण देव! आप हमारे लिए सुखदायी होइए. हम आप के लिए अन्नमय हवि देते हैं. आप हमारे रोग दूर कीजिए. आप हमारे शत्रुओं व राक्षसों का बिनाश कीजिए. आप भेड़िए और ऐसे ही हिंसक जीवों को हम से दूर भगाइए. (१०)

O friend B Varun Dev! May you be pleasant to us. We give you an annamaya havi. You remove our diseases. You ignore our enemies and demons. You drive wolves and such violent creatures away from us. (10)
वाजे॑वाजेऽवत वाजिनो नो॒ धने॑षु विप्राऽअमृताऽऋतज्ञाः । अ॒स्य मध्वः॑ पिबत मा॒दय॑ध्वं तृ॒प्ता या॑त प॒थिभि॑र्देव॒यानैः॑ ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मित्र व वरुण देव! आप ब्राह्मण, अमर व सत्यज्ञ है. युद्ध में अन्न, बल तथा धन प्राप्त कीजिए. आप इस यज्ञ में मधुर रस पीजिए. मदमस्त व तृप्त होइए. देवपथों से गमन करने की कृपा कीजिए. (११)

O friend and Varun Dev! You are Brahmin, immortal and truthful. Get food, strength and wealth in war. You drink sweet juice in this yajna. Be satisfied and satisfied. Please go through the paths of God. (11)
समि॑द्धोऽअ॒ग्निः स॒मिधा॒ सुस॑मिद्धो॒ वरे॑ण्यः । गा॒य॒त्री छन्द॑ऽइन्द्रि॒यं त्र्यवि॒र्गौर्वयो॑ दधुः ॥ (१२)

हे अग्नि! आप समिधावान हैं. समिधा से आप को अच्छी तरह प्रदीप्त किया गया है. आप वरेण्य हैं. तीनों लोक और तीनों अवस्थाएं, अग्नि और गायत्री छंद आप के शरीर को बल और आयु प्रदान करें. (१२)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are inclusive. You have been illuminated well by samidha. You are a stranger. May the three worlds and the three states, agni and gayatri verses give strength and life to your body. (12)
तनू॒नपा॒च्छुचि॑व्रतस्तनू॒पाश्च॒ सर॑स्वती । उ॒ष्णिहा॒ छन्द॑ऽइन्द्रि॒यं दि॑त्य॒वाड् गौर्वयो॑ दधुः ॥ (१३)

अग्नि तन की रक्षा करने वाले और पवित्र संकल्प बाले हैं. सरस्वती देवी उष्णिक् छंद और दिव्य हवि को धारण करने वाले अंग हमारे लिए बल और आयु धारण करने की कृपा करें. (१३)

Agni is the protector of the body and the holy resolve. May Saraswati Devi, the organs holding the hot verses and divine havi, be pleased to hold strength and age for us. (13)
इडा॑भिर॒ग्निरीड्यः॒ सोमो॑ दे॒वोऽअम॑र्त्यः । अ॒नु॒ष्टुप् छन्द॑ऽइन्द्रि॒यं पञ्चा॑वि॒गौर्वयो॑ दधुः ॥ (१४)

अग्नि प्रार्थनाओं से प्रसन्न होने योग्य हैं. सोम अमर हैं. अनुष्टुप् छंद और पांचों इंद्रिय रूपी गायों से हमारे लिए बल तथा आयु धारण करने की कृपा करें. (१४)

Fire prayers are worthy of happiness. Som is immortal. Please take strength and age for us with anushtup verses and the five sense cows. (14)
सु॒ब॒र्हिर॒ग्निः पू॑षण्वान्त्स्ती॒र्णब॑र्हि॒रम॑र्त्यः । बृ॒ह॒ती छन्द॑ऽइन्द्रि॒यं त्रि॑व॒त्सो गौर्वयो॑ दधुः ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
अग्नि कुश के अच्छे आसन वाले, पुष्टिदायी, विस्तृत आकाश को शुद्ध करने बाले व अमर हैं. बृहती छंद तीन बछड़ों वाली गायों से तथा इंद्रियों से हमारे लिए बल और आयु धारण करने की कृपा करें. (१५)

Agni is the good posture of Kush, confirmatory, purifying the wide sky and immortal. Please take strength and age for us from the cows with three calves and the senses. (15)
दुरो॑ दे॒वीर्दिशो॑ म॒हीर्ब्र॒ह्मा दे॒वो बृह॒स्पतिः॑ । प॒ङ्क्तिश्छन्द॑ऽइ॒हेन्द्रि॒यं तु॑र्य्य॒वाड् गौर्वयो॑ दधुः ॥ (१६)

बृहस्पति देव, दूर की देवियां, महिमाशाली ब्रह्मा देव हमारे लिए बल और आयु धारण करने की कृपा करें. पंक्ति, छंद, इंद्रियां, प्राणिमात्र का पोषण करने वाली गायों से हमारे लिए बल तथा आयु धारण करने की कृपा करें. (१६)

Jupiter Dev, distant goddesses, glorious Brahma Dev please hold strength and age for us. Please take strength and age for us from the cows that nourish the line, verses, senses, animals. (16)
उ॒षे य॒ह्वी सु॒पेश॑सा॒ विश्वे॑ दे॒वाऽअम॑र्त्याः । त्रि॒ष्टुप् छन्द॑ऽइ॒हेन्द्रि॒यं प॑ष्ठ॒वाड् गौर्वयो॑ दधुः ॥ (१७)

महान् तथा श्रेष्ठ स्वरूप वाली उषा देवी, सभी देवता एवं अमर देवगण हमारे लिए बल एवं आयु धारण करने की कृपा करें. त्रिष्टुप् छंद इंद्रियां पोषण का भार वहन करने वाली गाय हमारे लिए बल एवं आयु धारण करने की कृपा करें. (१७)

May Usha Devi, all the deities and immortal gods with great and superior form, bless us with strength and age. May the cow, which carries the burden of nutrition, be kind to us to have strength and life. (17)
दैव्या॒ होता॑रा भि॒षजेन्द्रे॑ण स॒युजा॑ यु॒जा । जग॑ती॒ छन्द॑ऽइन्द्रि॒यम॑न॒ड्वान् गौर्वयो॑ दधुः ॥ (१८)

देवताओं के होता, वैद्य इंद्र देव के साथ जुड़ कर रहने वाले हमारे लिए बल और आयु धारण करने की कृपा करें. जगती छंद, इंद्रियां, मन की गाड़ी को खींचने वाली गाय हमारे लिए बल और आयु को धारण करने की कृपा करें. (१८)

If the gods are there, please be pleased to take strength and life for us who live with Vaidya Indra Dev. May jagati verses, senses, cow pulling the carriage of mind be kind to us to hold strength and age. (18)
ति॒स्रऽइडा॒ सर॑स्वती॒ भार॑ती म॒रुतो॒ विशः॑ । वि॒राट् छन्द॑ऽइ॒हेन्द्रि॒यं धे॒नुर्गौर्न वयो॑ दधुः ॥ (१९)

त्वष्टा॑ तु॒रीपो॒ऽअद्भु॑तऽइन्द्रा॒ग्नी पु॑ष्टि॒वर्ध॑ना । द्विप॑दा॒ छन्द॑ऽइन्द्रि॒यमु॒क्षा गौर्न वयो॑ दधुः ॥ (२०)

त्वष्टा देव तेज गति वाले, विलक्षण व मोक्षदाता हैं. इंद्र देव एवं अग्नि पुष्टिवर्द्धक हैं. द्विपद छंद, इंद्रियां मोक्षदायी गायें हमारे लिए बल और आयु धारण करने की कृपा करें. (२०)

Tvashta Dev is fast paced, unique and salvation giver. Indra Dev and Agni are confirmators. Bivariate verses, senses salvation cows please hold strength and age for us. (20)

बनस्पति हमारे लिए शांतिदायी हो. सबिता देव हमारे लिए सौभाग्य उपजाने बाले हों. ककुप् छंद, इंद्रियां एबं अनुशासित गौ हमारे लिए आयु तथा बल धारण करने की कृपा करे. (२१)

Banaspati be peaceful for us. May Sabita Dev be a good fortune for us. May the kakup verses, senses and disciplined cow pleased to hold life and strength for us. (21)
स्वाहा॑ य॒ज्ञं वरु॑णः । सुक्ष॒त्रो भे॑ष॒जं क॑रत् । अति॑च्छन्दाऽइन्द्रि॒यं बृ॒हदृ॑ष॒भो गौर्वयो॑ दधुः ॥ (२२)

यज्ञ के लिए स्वाहा. वरुण देव के लिए स्वाहा. श्रेष्ठ क्षत्रिय के लिए स्वाहा. ओषधियों के लिए स्वाहा. अतिच्छंदा छंद, इंद्रियां विशाल बैल वाली गाय हमारे लिए बल एवं आयु धारण करने की कृपा करें. (२२)

Swaha for yajna. Swaha for Varun Dev. Swaha for the best Kshatriya. Swaha for medicines. The cow with a huge bull, the very chichada verses, the senses, please hold strength and age for us. (22)
व॒स॒न्तेन॑ऽऋ॒तुना॑ दे॒वा वस॑वस्त्रि॒वृता॑ स्तु॒ताः । र॒थ॒न्त॒रेण॒ तेज॑सा ह॒विरिन्द्रे॒ वयो॑ दधुः ॥ (२३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
बसुदेवगणों की वसंत ऋतु तथा त्रिवृत छंद से स्तुति की गई है. वसुदेवगण की रथंतर छंद से स्तुति की गई है. हम तेज और हवि को इंद्र देव हेतु स्थापित करते हैं. इंद्र देव हमारे लिए बल और आयु धारने की कृपा करें. (२३)

Basudevas have been praised in the spring season and with trivrit verses. Vasudevagan has been praised with rathantar verses. We establish Tej and Havi for Indra Dev. May Indra Dev bless us with strength and life. (23)
ग्र॒ीष्मेण॑ऽऋ॒तुना॑ दे॒वा रु॒द्राः प॒ञ्च॒द॒शे स्तु॒ताः । बृ॒ह॒ता यश॑सा॒ बल॑ꣳह॒विरिन्द्रे॒ वयो॑ दधुः ॥ (२४)

रुद्र देव गणों की पंद्रह प्रार्थनाओं एवं ग्रीष्मऋतु से स्तुति की गई है. विशाल यश च बल से हवि को इंद्र देव हेतु स्थापित करते हैं. इंद्र देव हमारे लिए बल एवं आयु धारने की कृपा करें. (२४)

Rudra Dev Ganas has been praised with fifteen prayers and summer season. Vishal Yash establishes Havi for Indra Dev with the force of F. May Indra Dev be pleased to hold strength and life for us. (24)
व॒र्षाभि॑र्ऋ॒तुना॑दि॒त्या स्तोमे॑ सप्तद॒शे स्तु॒ताः । वै॒रू॒पेण॑ वि॒शौज॑सा ह॒विरिन्द्रे॒ वयो॑ दधुः ॥ (२५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
आदित्य देवगणों की सत्रह स्तोत्रों एवं वर्षा ऋतु से उपासना की गई है. वैरूप छंद और ओज से हम इंद्र देव हेतु हवि स्थापित करते हैं. इंद्र देव हमारे लिए बल एवं आयु धारने की कृपा करें. (२५)

Aditya Devgan has been worshiped with seventeen hymns and rainy season. With vairup verses and uj, we establish havi for Indra Dev. May Lord Indra bless us with strength and life. (25)
शा॒र॒देन॑ऽऋ॒तुना॑ दे॒वाऽए॑कवि॒ꣳशऽऋ॒भव॑ स्तु॒ताः । वै॒रा॒जेन॑ श्रि॒या श्रिय॑ꣳ ह॒विरिन्द्रे॒ वयो॑ दधुः ॥ (२६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
ऋभु देवगणों की इक्कीस स्तोत्रों तथा शरद ऋतु से उपासना की गई है. वैराज छंद श्रिया (लक्ष्मी) की श्री बढ़ाते हैं. हम उस से इंद्र देव हेतु हवि स्थापित करते हैं. इंद्र देव हमारे लिए बल तथा आयु धारने की कृपा करें. (२६)

The Lord of the hindu has been worshiped since twenty-one hymns and autumn. Vairaj verses enhance the shri of Shriya (Lakshmi). We establish a havi for Indra Dev from him. May Lord Indra bless us with strength and strength. (26)
हे॒म॒न्तेन॑ऽऋ॒तुना॑ दे॒वास्त्रि॑ण॒वे म॒रुत॑ स्तु॒ताः । बले॑न॒ शक्व॑रीः॒ सहो॑ ह॒विरिन्द्रे॒ वयो॑ दधुः ॥ (२७)

मरुद् गण की नौ से तिगुने स्तोत्रों और हेमंत ऋतु से उपासना की गई है. शक्वरी छंद और बल से हम इंद्र देव के लिए हवि स्थापित करते हैं. इंद्र देव हमारे लिए बल और आयु धारने की कृपा करें. (२७)

Marudgana has been worshiped with nine to three times the stotras and hemant season. With shakwari verses and force, we establish the havi for Indra Dev. May Indra Dev be pleased to hold strength and life for us. (27)
शै॒शि॒रेण॑ऽऋ॒तुना॑ दे॒वास्त्र॑यस्त्रि॒ꣳशेऽमृता॑ स्तु॒ताः । स॒त्येन॑ रे॒वतीः क्ष॒त्रꣳ ह॒विरिन्द्रे॒ वयो॑ दधुः ॥ (२८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम तीस और तीन देवगणों की रेवती छंद से और शिशिर ऋतु से उपासना करते हैं. हम सत्य और बल से इंद्र देव की स्थापना करते हैं. इंद्र देव हमारे लिए बल और आयु धारने की कृपा करें. (२८)

We worship thirty and three devgans with revati verses and shishir season. We establish Indra Dev with truth and strength. May Indra Dev be pleased to hold strength and life for us. (28)
होता॑ यक्षत्स॒मिधा॒ऽग्निमि॒डस्प॒देऽश्विनेन्द्र॒ꣳ सर॑स्वतीम॒जो धू॒म्रो न गो॒धूमैः॒ कुव॑लैर्भेष॒जं मधु॒ शष्पै॒र्न तेज॑ऽइन्द्रि॒यं पयः॒ सोमः॑ परि॒स्रुता॑ घृ॒तं मधु॒ व्यन्त्वाज्य॑स्य॒ होत॒र्यज॑ ॥ (२९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
होता ने अग्नि में समिधाएं प्रज्वलित की हैं. यह यज्ञ अश्विनी देव, इंद्र देव और सरस्वती देवी के लिए किया जा रहा है. इस यज्ञ से गोधूम ओषधियां, मधु, दूध, सोम च घी प्राप्त होते हैं. होता सब के कल्याण के लिए यज्ञ करने की कृपा करें. (२९)

होता॑ यक्ष॒त् तनू॒नपा॒त् सर॑स्वती॒मवि॑र्मे॒षो न भे॑ष॒जं प॒था मधु॑मता॒ भर॑न्न॒श्विनेन्द्रा॑य वी॒र्यं बद॑रैरुप॒वाका॑भिर्भेष॒जं तोक्म॑भिः॒ पयः॒ सोमः॑ परि॒स्रुता॑ घृ॒तं मधु॒ व्यन्त्वाज्य॑स्य॒ होत॒र्यज॑ ॥ (३०)

होता यजमान के शरीर की रक्षा के लिए यज्ञ करते हैं. यह यज्ञ अश््विनीकुमारों, सरस्वती देवी और इंद्र देव के लिए किया जाता है. देवताओं के लिए अनाज, ओषध, मधु, पेय, घी, दूध, सोम व घी आदि प्राप्त होते हैं. देवगण इन सब को ग्रहण करने की कृपा करें. होता सब के कल्याण के लिए यज्ञ करने की कृपा करें. (३०)

They perform yagya to protect the body of the host. This yajna is performed for Ashwinikumaras, Saraswati Devi and Indra Dev.
