हि॒र॒ण्य॒ग॒र्भः सम॑वर्त्त॒ताग्रे॑ भू॒तस्य॑ जा॒तः पति॒रेक॑ऽआसीत् । स दा॑धार पृथि॒वीं द्यामु॒तेमां कस्मै॑ दे॒वाय॑ ह॒विषा॑ विधेम ॥ (१)

परमात्मा सोने (हिरण्य) के गर्भ में रहे. वे सब से पहले उत्पन्न हुए. वे सब को उत्पन्न करने बाले व सब के एकमात्र पालक हैं. उन्होंने पृथ्वी व उत्तम स्वर्ग को धारण किया है. परमात्मा के अलावा अन्य किस देव के लिए हवि का विधान करें. (१)

God remained in the womb of Gold (Hiranya). They originated first. They are the creators of all and the sole guardians of all. They have possessed the earth and the best heaven. For which god other than God should you pray? (1)

हवि को प्रजापति देव हेतु उपयाम में ग्रहण किया है. यह आप का इष्ट स्थान है. हम आप को इस में ग्रहण करते हैं. यह आप का मूल स्थान है. सूर्य आप की महिमा है. दिन आप की महिमा का सूचक है. संवत्सर आप की महिमा का सूचक है. वायु आप की महिमा के सूचक हैं. अंतरिक्ष लोक आप की महिमा का सूचक है. स्वर्गलोक आप की महिमा का सूचक है. महिमाशाली प्रजापति के लिए स्वाहा. सब देवगणों के लिए स्वाहा. Havi has been accepted in upyam for Prajapati Dev. This is your favorite place. We assume you in this. This is your native place. The sun is the glory of you. The day is an indicator of your glory. Samvatsar is an indicator of your glory. Air is an indicator of your glory. Space folk is an indicator of your glory. Heaven is an indicator of your glory. Swaha for the glorious Prajapati. Swaha for all the gods. (2)
यः प्रा॑ण॒तो नि॑मिष॒तो म॑हि॒त्वैक॒ऽइद्राजा॒ जग॑तो ब॒भूव॑ । यऽईशे॑ऽअ॒स्य द्वि॒पद॒श्चत॒ु॑ष्पदः॒ कस्मै॑ दे॒वाय॑ ह॒विषा॑ विधेम ॥ (३)

जो परमात्मा प्राण से जगत् के अधिष्ठाता हैं, जो परमात्मा जल से जगत् के अधिष्ठाता हैं, जो परमात्मा महिमाशाली हैं, जिन परमात्मा से महिमाशाली जग उत्पन्न हुआ, जो परमात्मा दोपायों व चौपायों के स्वामी हैं उन के अलावा हम किस देव के लिए हवि का विधान करें. (३)
EN English Translation
Apart from the God who is the presiding deity of the world with life, the Supreme Soul is the presiding deity of the world with water, the God who is glorified, the God from whom the glorious world was born, the God who is the deva of two steps and four steps, for which God should we decide for whom. (3)

हवि को प्रजापति के लिए उपयाम में ग्रहण किया गया है. आप प्रजापति की इष्ट है. इसीलिए आप को ग्रहण किया गया है. यही आप का मूल स्थान है. चंद्रमा आप की महिमा है. रात्रि आप की महिमा है. संवत्सर आप की महिमा है. पृथ्वी आप की महिमा है. अग्नि आप की महिमा है. नक्षत्रों में जो महिमा है, वह आप की है. चंद्रमा में जो महिमा है, वह आप की है. आप की उस महिमा के लिए स्वाहा. प्रजापति के लिए स्वाहा. देवगणों के लिए स्वाहा. Havi has been accepted in the upayam for Prajapati. You are the favor of Prajapati. That is why you have been accepted. This is your native place. The moon is your glory. The night is your glory. Samvatsar is your glory. Earth is your glory. Fire is your glory. The glory that is there in the constellations belongs to you. The glory in the moon belongs to you. Thank you for that glory. Swaha for Prajapati. For the gods. (4)
यु॒ञ्जन्ति॑ ब्र॒ध्नम॑रु॒षं चर॑न्तं॒ परि॑ त॒स्थुषः॑ । रोच॑न्तेरोच॒ना दि॒वि ॥ (५)

सूर्य जैसे स्वर्गलोक को प्रकाशित करते हैं और जैसे अपने चारों ओर के ग्रह को जोड़ते हैं, वैसे ही यजमान यज्ञ के सारे साधनों को जोड़ते हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
Just as the sun illuminates the heavenland and just as it connects the planet around it, the hosts connect all the means of yajna. (5)
यु॒ञ्जन्त्य॑स्य॒ काम्या॒ हरी॒ विप॑क्षसा॒ रथे॑ । शोणा॑ धृ॒ष्णू नृ॒वाह॑सा ॥ (६)

मनुष्य के वाहन में घोड़े जोतने की तरह हवि ले जाने हेतु देवरथ में कामना पूरक हरि नामक घोड़े को जोतिए तथा धृष्णु नामक घोड़े को रथ में जोतने की कृपा कीजिए. (६)

To carry the horse like ploughing horses in a human vehicle, plough a horse named Kamna Supplementary Hari in Devrath and please plough a horse named Dhrishnu in the chariot. (6)
यद्वातो॑ऽअ॒पोऽअग॑नीगन्प्रि॒यामिन्द्र॑स्य त॒न्वम् । ए॒तस्तो॑तर॒नेन॑ प॒था पुन॒रश्व॒माव॑र्त्तयासि नः ॥ (७)

जब यह अश्व, जो वायु के समान वेगवान है, इंद्र देव के प्रिय जल को प्राप्त होता है, तब यजमानो को चाहिए कि वे अपने लिए उसी मार्ग से उस अश्व को लौटा दें. (७)
EN English Translation
When this horse, which is as fast as air, receives the beloved water of Indra Dev, then the hosts should return that horse for themselves in the same way. (7)
व॑सवस्त्वाञ्जन्तु गाय॒त्रेण॒ छन्द॑सा रु॒द्रास्त्वा॑ञ्जन्तु॒ त्रैष्टु॑भेन॒ छन्द॑सादि॒त्यास्त्वा॑ञ्जन्तु॒ जाग॑तेन॒ छन्द॑सा । भूर्भुवः॒ स्वर्लाजी३ञ्छाची३न्यव्ये॒ गव्य॑ऽए॒तदन्न॑मत्त देवाऽए॒तदन्न॑मद्धि प्रजापते ॥ (८)

हे यज्ञ रूपी अश्व! वसुगण गायत्री छंद से आप को आंजने हैं. हे यज्ञ रूपी अश्व! रुद्रगण त्रिष्टुभ् छंद से आप को आंजते हैं. हे यज्ञ रूपी अश्व! आदित्यगण जगती छंद से आप को आंजते हैं. भूलोक में स्थित देव से अनुरोध है कि वे इस हवि को ग्रहण करने की कृपा करें. अंतरिक्ष में स्थित देव से अनुरोध है कि वे इस हवि को ग्रहण करने की कृपा करें. स्वर्गलोक में स्थित देव से अनुरोध है कि वे इस हवि को ग्रहण करने की कृपा करें. प्रजापति में स्थित देव से अनुरोध है कि वे इस हवि को ग्रहण करने की कृपा करें. देवगण में स्थित देव से अनुरोध है कि वे इस हवि को ग्रहण करने की कृपा करें. Adityagan entertains you with jagati verses. The god located in Bhulok is requested to please accept this havi. I request God in space to please accept this havi. I request the God in heaven to please accept this havi. I request the Deity located in Prajapati to kindly accept this havi. The deity located in Devgan is requested to please accept this havi. (8)
कः स्वि॑देका॒की चर॑ति॒ कऽउ॑ स्विज्जायते॒ पुनः॑ । किस्वि॑द्धि॒मस्य॑ भेष॒जं किम्वा॒वप॑नं म॒हत् ॥ (९)

कृपया बताइए कि कौन अकेला विचरता है? कौन बारबार उत्पन्न होता है? शीत की ओषधि क्या है? बीज बोने के लिए कौन सा क्षेत्र सब से बड़ा है? (९)

Please tell me who walks alone? Who is born again and again? What is cold medicine? Which area is the largest to sow seeds? (9)
सूर्य॑ऽएका॒की च॑रति च॒न्द्रमा॑ जायते॒ पुनः॑ । अ॒ग्निर्हि॒मस्य॑ भेष॒जं भूमि॑रा॒वप॑नं म॒हत् ॥ (१०)

सूर्य अकेले विचरते हैं. चंद्रमा बारबार उत्पन्न होता है. अग्नि शीत की ओषधि है. भूमि बीज बोने का सब से विशाल क्षेत्र है. (१०)

The sun wanders alone. The moon is generated again and again. Fire is a cold medicine. The land is the largest area of seed sowing. (10)
का स्वि॑दासीत् पू॒र्वचि॑त्तिः॒ किस्वि॑दासीद् बृ॒हद्वयः॑ । का स्वि॑दासीत् पिलिप्पि॒ला का स्वि॑दासीत् पिशङ्गि॒ला ॥ (११)

यजमान पूछते हैं कि सब से पहले किस का चिंतन करना चाहिए? सब से बड़ा कौन है? सब से बड़ा रक्षक एवं शोभाधारक कौन है? सब के रूपों को निगल जाने वाला कौन है? (११)

The host asks, "Who should one think about first of all?" Who is the greatest? Who is the greatest protector and beauty? Who is going to swallow the forms of all? (11)
द्यौरा॑सीत् पू॒र्वचि॑त्ति॒रश्व॑ऽआसीद् बृ॒हद्वयः॑ । अवि॑रासीत् पिलिप्पि॒ला रात्रि॑रासीत् पिशङ्गि॒ला ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
स्वर्गलोक के बारे में सब से पहले चिंतन करना चाहिए. अश्व सब से विशाल है. पृथ्वी सब से बड़ी रक्षिका है. पृथ्वी सब से ज्यादा शोभा धारने बाली है. रात्रि अपने अंधेरे में सब को छिपा कर रखने वाली है. (१२)

One should first think about heaven. The horse is the largest. The earth is the greatest protector. The earth is the most beautiful. The night is going to keep everyone hidden in its darkness. (12)
वा॒युष्ट्वा॑ पच॒तैर॑व॒त्वसि॑तग्रीव॒श्छागै॑र्न्य॒ग्रोध॑श्चम॒सैः श॑ल्म॒लिर्वृद्ध्या॑ । ए॒ष स्य रा॒थ्यो वृषा॑ प॒ड्भिश्च॒तुर्भि॒रेद॑गन्ब्र॒ह्मा कृ॑ष्णश्च नोऽवतु॒ नमो॒ऽग्नये॑ ॥ (१३)

वायु हमें परिपक्वता प्रदान करे. वायु काली गरदन वाली अग्नि दे. वटवृक्ष चमस प्रदान करे. शाल्मली वृक्ष (सेमल) बढ़ोतरी प्रदान करे. यह शक्तिमान, सर्वव्यापक, आनंददायक है. अग्नि चारों चरणों में जीवों को पोसें व अग्नि आगमन की कृपा करें. बिना काले यानी सफेद अश्व हमारी रक्षा करने की कृपा करें. अग्नि के लिए नमस्कार. May the wind give us maturity. Give the air a agni with a black neck. Banyan tree should provide chamas. Shalmali tree (semal) should provide growth. It is powerful, omnipresent, enjoyable. The agni nurtures the creatures in the four stages and please come to the agni. Please protect us without black i.e. white horse. Hello to the agni. (13)
सꣳशि॑तो र॒श्मिना॒ रथः॒ सꣳशि॑तो र॒श्मिना॒ हयः॑ । सꣳशि॑तो अ॒प्स्वप्सु॒जा ब्र॒ह्मा सोम॑पुरोगवः ॥ (१४)

रश्मियों से यज्ञ रूपी रथ की प्रशंसा होती है. किरण रूपी घोड़ों से यज्ञ रूपी रथ की प्रशंसा होती है. जल में उत्पन्न जल में शोभा पाते हैं. ब्रह्मा की प्रशंसा सोम को आगे करने के कारण होती है. (१४)

The chariot of yajna is praised by the rashmis. The chariot of yajna is praised by the horses of rays. They find beauty in the water produced in the water. Brahma is praised for advancing Soma. (14)
स्व॒यं वा॑जिँस्त॒न्वं कल्पयस्व स्व॒यं य॑जस्व स्व॒यं जु॑षस्व । म॒हि॒मा ते॒ऽन्येन॒ न स॒न्नशे॑ ॥ (१५)

हे यज्ञ ऊर्जा! आप स्वयं बलवान हैं. आप अपने शरीर को फलीभूत कीजिए. आप स्वयं यज्ञ से विस्तृत होइए. आप पदार्थों से जुड़िए. उन्हें प्राणवान बनाने की कृपा कीजिए. आप की महिमा कभी भी नष्ट न हो. (१५)

O yajna energy! You yourself are strong. Make your body come to fruition. You yourself expand with the yajna. You connect with the substances. Please make them alive. May your glory never be destroyed. (15)
न वाऽउ॑ऽए॒तन्म्रि॑यसे॒ न रि॑ष्यसि दे॒वाँ२ऽइदे॑षि प॒थिभिः॑ सु॒गेभिः॑ । यत्रास॑ते सु॒कृतो॒ यत्र॒ ते य॒युस्तत्र॑ त्वा दे॒वः स॑वि॒ता द॑धातु ॥ (१६)

परम शक्त न मरती है, न क्षीण होती है. वह देवताओं के मार्ग से जाती है. वह सुगम पथ से वहां पहुंचती है, जहां अच्छे कर्म करने वाले लोग रहते है. बहां सविता देव स्वयं इसे धारण करते हैं. (१६)

The supreme power does not die, nor does it diminish. She goes through the path of the gods. She reaches where people who do good deeds live through an easy path. Savita Dev himself wears it. (16)
अ॒ग्निः प॒शुरा॑सी॒त् तेना॑यजन्त॒ सऽए॒तं लो॒कम॑जय॒द् यस्मि॑न्न॒ग्निः स ते॑ लो॒को भ॑विष्यति॒ तं जे॑ष्यसि॒ पिबै॒ताऽअ॒पः । वा॒युः प॒शुरा॑सी॒त् तेना॑यजन्त॒ सऽए॒तं लो॒कम॑जय॒द् यस्मि॑न् वा॒युः स ते॑ लो॒को भ॑विष्यति॒ तं जे॑ष्यसि॒ पिबै॒ताऽअ॒पः । सूर्यः॑ प॒शुरा॑सी॒त् तेना॑यजन्त॒ सऽए॒तं लो॒कम॑जय॒द् यस्मि॒न्त्सूर्य्यः॒ स ते॑ लो॒को भ॑विष्यति॒ तं जे॑ष्यसि॒ पिबै॒ताऽअ॒पः ॥ (१७)

अग्नि रूपी पशु से देवताओं ने यजन (यज्ञ) किया. जिस में अग्नि है, वही इस लोक में जीतता है और जीतेगा. यजमान इस ज्ञान को अपनाएं. वायु रूपी पशु से देवताओं ने यज्ञ किया. जिस में वायु प्रबल है, वह जीतता है और जीतेगा. यजमान इस ज्ञान को अपनाएं. सूर्य रूपी पशु से देवताओं ने यज्ञ किया. जिस में सूर्य तत्त्व की प्रधानता होती है, वह जीतता है और जीतेगा. यजमान इस ज्ञान को अपनाएं. (१७)

The gods performed yajan (yagna) with an animal in the form of agni. He who has agni in it wins and will win in this world. Hosts adopt this knowledge. The gods performed yajna with an animal in the form of air. He in whom the wind prevails wins and will win. Hosts adopt this knowledge. The gods performed yajna with an animal in the form of sun. The one in which the sun element is predominant, wins and will win. Hosts adopt this knowledge. (17)
प्रा॒णाय॒ स्वाहा॑पा॒नाय॒ स्वाहा॑ व्या॒नाय॒ स्वाहा॑ । अम्बे॒ऽअम्बि॒केऽम्बा॑लिके॒ न मा॑ नयति॒ कश्च॒न । सस॑स्त्यश्व॒कः सुभ॑द्रिकां काम्पीलवा॒सिनी॑म् ॥ (१८)

प्राण के लिए स्वाहा. अपान के लिए स्वाहा. प्राण के लिए स्वाहा. हे अंबे! हे अंबिके! आप हमें किसी अप्रिय स्थिति में न ले जाएं. हे अंबालिके! आप हमें किसी अप्रिय स्थिति में न ले जाएं. ठंडी अग्नि कांपील पेड़ की समिधाओं पर पड़ी है. ठंडी अग्नि श्रेष्ठ हवियों के साथ ठंडी पड़ी हुई है. (१८)

Swaha for life. Swaha for your own. Swaha for life. O Ambe! O Ambike! Don't take us to any unpleasant situation. O Ambalike! Don't take us to any unpleasant situation. The cold agni is lying on the samidhas of the kampile tree. The cold agni is cold with the best hives. (18)
ग॒णानां॑ त्वा ग॒णप॑तिꣳहवामहे प्रि॒याणां॑ त्वा प्रि॒यप॑तिꣳहवामहे निधी॒नां त्वा॑ निधि॒पति॑ꣳ हवामहे वसो मम । आहम॑जानि गर्भ॒धमा त्वम॑जासि गर्भ॒धम् ॥ (१९)

आप गणों के स्वामी हैं. हम आप गणपति का आह्वान करते हैं. आप प्रियों के बीच प्रिय हैं. हम आप प्रियपति का आह्वान करते हैं. आप निधियों के बीच प्रिय हैं. हम निधिपति का आह्वान करते हैं. जगत् को आप ने बसाया है. आप हमारे होइए. आप संसार के गर्भधारी हैं. हम आप की इस गर्भधारण क्षमता को जानें. (१९)

You are the masters of ganas. We invoke you Ganapati. You are dear among the loved ones. We call upon you beloved. You are dear among the funds. We call on Nidhipati. You have built the world. You are ours. You are the womb of the world. Let us know your pregnancy ability. (19)
ताऽउ॒भौ च॒तुरः॑ प॒दः स॒म्प्रसा॑रयाव स्व॒र्गे लो॒के प्रोर्णु॑वाथां॒ वृषा॑ वा॒जी रे॑तो॒धा रेतो॑ दधातु ॥ (२०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
यज्ञ शक्ति और देव शक्ति दोनों से अपेक्षा है कि वे अपने चारों पैरों का प्रसार करने की कृपा करें. दोनों शक्तियां स्वर्गलोक एवं पृथ्वीलोक में व्याप्त करने की कृपा करें. दोनों शक्तियां बलवान हैं. वे हमें बलशाली व वीर्यवान बनाएं. हमारे लिए शक्ति और शौर्य धारण करें. (२०)

Both Yajna Shakti and Dev Shakti are expected to be pleased to spread in four directtions. Please please spread both the powers in heaven and earth. Both powers are strong. They make us strong or brave. Imbibe strength and bravery for us. (20)
उत्स॑क्थ्या॒ऽअव॑ गु॒दं धे॑हि॒ सम॒ञ्जिं चा॑रया वृषन् । य स्त्री॒णां जी॑व॒भोज॑नः ॥ (२१)

हे परम शक्ति! आप दुष्टों का दमन करने वाले व शक्तिमान हैं. जो व्यक्ति स्त्रियों से अपनी आजीविका कमाते हैं, अपना भोजन पाते हैं, आप उन को प्रताडूना दीजिए. (२१)

O Supreme Power! You are powerful and powerful in oppressing the wicked. Those who earn their livelihood from women, get their food, you should harass them. (21)
य॒कास॒कौ श॑कुन्ति॒काहल॒गिति॒ वञ्च॑ति । आह॑न्ति ग॒भे पसो॒ निग॑ल्गलीति॒ धार॑का ॥ (२२)

यह जल पक्षी की भांति प्रसनतादायी निनाद (आवाज) करता है. यह जल तेजोमय है. यह तेजस्वी जल कलकल निनाद करता है और शक्तिधारी है. (२२)

It makes a pleasant noise like a water bird. This water is bright. This stunning water is powerful and powerful. (22)
य॒कोऽस॒कौ श॑कुन्त॒कऽआ॒हल॒गिति॒ वञ्च॑ति । विव॑क्षतऽइव ते॒ मुख॒मध्व॑र्यो॒ मा न॒स्त्वम॒भि भा॑षथाः ॥ (२३)

उपर्युक्त तेज के प्रभाव से बोलने के इच्छुक मुंह पक्षी की तरह निरंतर शब्द करते हैं. उन से निवेदन है कि वे यज्ञ के बारे में निरर्थक बात न करें. (२३)
EN English Translation
Those who wish to speak with the effect of the above sharpness, speak constantly like a bird. They are requested not to talk nonsense about yajna. (23)
मा॒ता च॑ ते पि॒ता च॒ तेऽग्रं॑ वृ॒क्षस्य॑ रोहतः । प्रति॑ला॒मीति॑ ते पि॒ता ग॒भे मु॒ष्टिम॑तꣳसयत् ॥ (२४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यजमान! आप के माता और पिता वृक्ष के आगे के भाग से ऊर्ध्व गति पाते हैं. ऊर्ध्वलोक से आप के पूर्वज बादल से वर्षा कर के शोभा बढ़ाते हुए ऐसे प्रतीत होते हैं, मानो वे कहते हैं, हम आप से प्रसन्न हैं. (२४)

O host! Your mother and father find upward movement from the front part of the tree. From the upper world, your ancestors appear to be adorned by showering from the clouds, as if they say, "We are happy with you." (24)

You play on the front part of the mother and father tree. You seem more willing to speak. Don't talk too much. (25)
ऊ॒र्ध्वामे॑ना॒मुच्छ्रा॑पय गि॒रौ भा॒रꣳ हर॑न्निव । अथा॑स्यै॒ मध्य॑मेधता शी॒ते वाते॑ पु॒नन्नि॑व ॥ (२६)

हे प्रजापति! आप इस राष्ट्र को ऊंचाइयों तक पहुंचाइए. हे प्रजापति! जैसे किसी भार को पर्वत पर पहुंचा कर (लोग) प्रसन्न होते हैं, उसी प्रकार हम राष्ट्र को ऊंचाई पर पहुंचा कर प्रसन्न होते हैं. जैसे ठंडी हवाओं के बीच से किसान अन्न को साफ करते हैं, उसी प्रकार प्रजापति की कृपा से हम राष्ट्र को पवित्र करें. (२६)

O Prajapati! You take this nation to greater heights. O Prajapati! Just as (people) are happy to take a weight to a mountain, so we are happy to take the nation to a height. Just as farmers clean food from the midst of cold winds, so by the grace of Prajapati, let us sanctify the nation. (26)

यद॑स्याऽअꣳहु॒भेद्याः॑ कृ॒धु स्थू॒लमु॒पात॑सत् । मु॒ष्काविद॑स्याऽएजतो गोश॒फे श॑कु॒लावि॑व ॥ (२८)

यह यज्ञाग्नि पाप भेदक व दुष्ट नाशक है. इस यज्ञाग्नि की स्थूल पृथ्वी पर स्थापना हो जाती है तब ब्राह्मण, क्षत्रिय आदि धर्म रूपी गाय के चरणों में खुरों की तरह सुशोभित होते हैं. (२८)
EN English Translation
This yajnaagni is a sin-piercing and evil destroyer. When this yajnaagni is established on the gross earth, brahmins, kshatriyas etc. are adorned like hooves at the feet of the cow in the form of religion. (28)
यद्दे॒वासो॑ ल॒लाम॑गुं॒ प्र वि॑ष्टी॒मिन॒मावि॑षुः । स॒क्थ्ना दे॑दिश्यते॒ नारी॑ स॒त्यस्या॑क्षि॒भुवो॑ यथा ॥ (२९)

जब ऐसी ही (यज्ञ जैसी) परमानंददायी गतिविधि संपन्न होती है तो उन्हें उस परम सत्य की वैसे ही अनुभूति हो जाती है, जैसे स्त्री के अंगों को देख कर स्त्री की पहचान हो जाती है. (२९)

When such a (yajna-like) ecstasy activity is carried out, they realize that ultimate truth in the same way as the woman is identified by looking at the organs of the woman. (29)
यद्ध॑रि॒णो यव॒मत्ति॒ न पु॒ष्टं प॒शु मन्य॑ते । शू॒द्रा यदर्य॑जारा॒ न पोषा॑य धनायति शू॒द्रा यदर्य॑जारा॒ न पोषा॑य धनायति ॥ (३०)

जब हिरण खेत में घुस कर जौ (अनाज) खा जाता है तो किसान हिरण की पुष्टता से खुश नहीं होते बल्कि अपनी हानि से दु:खी ही होते हैं. बैसे ही कोई शूद्रा जार से ज्ञानधन पाती है तो उस का पति उस के इस तरह ज्ञान संपन्न होने से प्रसन्न नहीं होता है. (३०)

When the deer enters the field and eats barley (grain), the farmers are not happy with the strength of the deer but are unhappy with their loss. As soon as a Shudra gets knowledge from the jar, then her husband is not happy with her being knowledgeful in this way. (30)
