होता॑ यक्षत्स॒मिधेन्द्र॑मि॒डस्प॒दे नाभा॑ पृथि॒व्याऽ अधि॑ । दि॒वो वर्ष्म॒न्त्समि॑ध्यत॒ऽओजि॑ष्ठश्चर्षणी॒सहां॒ वेत्वाज्य॑स्य॒ होत॒र्यज॑ ॥ (१)

होता (पुरोहित) समिधा से इंद्र देव के लिए यज्ञ करते हैं. यज्ञ पृथ्वी और अंतरिक्ष की नाभि है. स्वर्गलोक में समिधा चमक रही है. इंद्र देव ओजस्वी और विजेता हैं. यजमान से अनुरोध है कि वह उन के लिए यज्ञ करने की कृपा करें. उन से अनुरोध है कि वे हवि ग्रहण करने की कृपा करें. (१)

The priest performs yajna for Indra Dev from Samidha. Yajna is the navel of earth and space. Samidha is shining in heaven. Indra Dev is energetic and victorious. The host is requested to kindly perform yagna for them. They are requested to please accept havi. (1)

इंद्र देव तेजस्वी, शरीर के रक्षक, अपने रक्षा साधनों से जीतने वाले और कभी नहीं हारने वाले हैं. होता उन के प्रति प्रसन्नतादायी आहुतियों से यज्ञ करते हैं. वे आत्मज्ञाता हैं. वे मधुर हवि ग्रहण करने की कृपा करें. होता उन के लिए यज्ञ करने की कृपा करें. (२)

Indra Dev is stunning, the protector of the body, the winner with his defense means and never the loser. They perform yajna with happy offerings to them. They are self-conscious. Please take them to receive sweet havi. Please do yajna for them. (2)

Indra Dev is immortal, worthy of worship. He is the deva of the gods and in their hands. They are going to destroy the cities of enemies. Please perform yajna with sweet prayers for them. May they be pleased to be rejoiced by Eve. (3)

इंद्र देव धनवर्षक, यजमानों का हित चाहने वाले व बलवान हैं. होता कुश के आसन पर विराज कर उन के लिए यज्ञ करते हैं. वे वसु, रुद्र, आदित्य और अपने साथ के अन्य देवों के साथ कुश के आसन पर बैठ कर हवि ग्रहण करने की कृपा करें. होता उन के लिए यज्ञ करने की कृपा करें. (४)

होता ने इंद्र देव हेतु यज्ञ किया. उन्होंने उन की बढ़ोतरी की एवं उन के ओज और वीर्य की बढ़ोतरी की. इस अज्ञ में यज्ञ को बढ़ाने वाले द्वार की ओर देवता अच्छी तरह प्रयाण करें. चे इच्छापूर्ति करने बाले हैं. वे यज्ञ में पधारें. अमृत स्वरूप हवि को ग्रहण करने की कृपा करें. हम उन के लिए यज्ञ करते हैं. होता उन के लिए यज्ञ कीजिए. इंद्र देव के लिए पृथ्वी मां जैसी है, अच्छे दूधवाली गायों जैसी है. होता ने महान् उन के लिए पवित्र यज्ञ किया. होता ने अपने तेज से उन की बढ़ोतरी की. जैसे मां के प्यार से बच्चा दृढ़ बनता है, वैसे ही वे हवि से दृढ़ हों. होता! आप उन के लिए यज्ञ कीजिए. (६)
EN English Translation
For Indra Dev, the earth is like mother, like good milk cows. Hota performed a holy sacrifice for him great. Hota grew them with her speed. Just as the child becomes firm with the love of the mother, so they are firm with havi. One who offers oblations in a sacrificial agni! You perform yajna for them. (6)

होता ने इड़ा, सरस्वती व भारती के लिए यज्ञ किया. तीनों देवियों के लिए होता ने यज्ञ किया. ये तीनों देवियां तीनों लोकों में तीनों ऋतुओं को धारण करने बाले इंद्र देव की आज्ञा का पालन करती हैं. ये तीनों देवियां ओषधि युक्त हैं. तीनों देवियां हविष्मती हों. यजमान इन के लिए यज्ञ करने की कृपा करें. (८)

दे॒वं ब॒र्हिरिन्द्र॑ꣳ सुदे॒वं दे॒वैर्वी॒रव॑त् स्ती॒र्णं वेद्या॑मवर्द्धयत् । वस्तो॑र्वृ॒तं प्राक्तोर्भृ॒तꣳ रा॒या ब॒र्हिष्म॒तोऽत्य॑गाद् वसु॒वने॑ वसु॒धेय॑स्य वेतु॒ यज॑ ॥ (१२)

इंद्र देव देवों के द्वार हैं. सब ने मिल कर उन के पराक्रम व बल की बढ़ोतरी की. इंद्र देव बाल्य, युवा और कुमारावस्था में होने वाले हानिकारी तत्त्वों व धूल भरे बादलों को भी रोकते हैं. वे यजमान को वैभव प्रदान करने व वैभव धारण करने की कृपा करें. वे यजमान के घर में सुखशांति के लिए यज्ञ करने की कृपा करें. हे यजमानो! आप इंद्र देव के लिए यज्ञ कीजिए. दे॒वी जोष्ट्री॒ वसु॑धिती दे॒वमिन्द्र॑मवर्धताम् । अया॑व्य॒न्याघा द्वेषा॒स्यान्या व॑क्ष॒द्वसु॒ वार्या॑णि॒ यज॑मानाय शिक्षि॒ते व॑सु॒वने॑ व॑सु॒धेय॑स्य वीतां॒ यज॑ ॥ (१५)

देवी जोशीली, धन धारण करने वाली, इंद्र देव की बढ़ोतरी करने वाली, द्वेषों व पापों को दूर करने वाली हैं. यजमान के लिए धन धारने की कृपा कीजिए. यजमान को धन प्राप्ति की शिक्षा दीजिए. यजमान इस सब के लिए यज्ञ करें. (१५)

देवी ने इंद्र देव को ऊर्जस्वी बनाया. पयस से उन की बढ़ोतरी की. देव अन्न शक्ति से युक्त हैं. देवी जल शक्ति से युक्त हैं. देवी दयामयी, पुरातन तत्त्वों को जानने वाली हैं व नए और पुराने अन्न को धारण करती हैं. वे यजमान के लिए महान् ऐश्वर्य प्रदान करने उस को स्थायित्व प्रदान करने की कृपा करें. देवगण हव्यपान की कृपा करें. यजमान गण इन के लिए यज्ञ करें. The goddess made Indra Dev energetic. God is full of food power. Goddess is full of water power. Goddess Dayamayi is the one who knows the ancient elements and wears new and old food. होता दिव्य है. वह (यज्ञ से) देवी की बढ़ोतरी करने की कृपा करे. होता इंद्र देव की बढ़ोतरी करने की कृपा करें. देव और देवी हमारा वैभव बढ़ाने की कृपा करें. देवी और देव यजमान को वैभव प्रदान कराने के लिए हवि ग्रहण करने की कृपा करें. देव और देवी उस वैभव को स्थायी बनाने की कृपा करें. हे यजमान! आप भी इसीलिए यज्ञ करने की कृपा करें. दे॒वीस्ति॒स्रस्ति॒स्रो दे॒वीः पति॒मिन्द्र॑मवर्धयन् । अस्पृ॑क्ष॒द् भाार॑ती॒ दिव॑ꣳ रु॒द्रैर्य॒ज्ञꣳ सर॑स्व॒तीडा॒ वसु॑मती गृ॒हान् व॑सु॒वने॑ वसु॒धेय॑स्य व्यन्तु॒ यज॑ ॥ (१८)

इंद्र देव पालक हैं. तीन देवियों ने उन की बढ़ोतरी की. भारती देवी स्वर्गलोक का व रुद्र यज्ञ का स्पर्श करते हैं. सरस्वती, इड़ा और वसुमती घर का स्पर्श करती हैं. तीनों देवियां यजमान के लिए धन धारने की कृपा करें. यजमान इस के लिए यज्ञ करने की कृपा करें. (१८)

दे॒वऽइन्द्रो॒ नरा॒शꣳस॑स्त्रिवरू॒थस्॑ित्रबन्धु॒रो दे॒वमिन्द्र॑मवर्धयत् । श॒तेन॑ शितिपृ॒ष्ठाना॒माहि॑तः स॒हस्रे॑ण॒ प्र व॑र्त्तते मि॒त्रावरु॒णेद॑स्य हो॒त्रमर्ह॑तो॒ बृह॒स्पति॑ स्तो॒त्रम॒श्विनाऽध्व॑र्यवं वसु॒वने॑ वसु॒धेय॑स्य वेतु॒ यज॑ ॥ (१९)

इंद्र बहुप्रशंसित हैं. तीनों लोकों के बंधु हैं. यज्ञ देव इंद्र देव की बढ़ोतरी की कृपा करें. इंद्र देव सैकड़ों काली पीठ वाली गायां से शोभते हैं. कर्मनिष्ठ वरुण, स्तोता बृहस्पति एवं अध्वर्यु अश्विनीकुमारद्वय इस यज्ञ के होता हैं. देवगण यजमानों को वैभव दें. देवगण यजमानों के लिए धन धारने की कृपा करें. होता इस के लिए यज्ञ करने की कृपा करें. दे॒वो दे॒वैर्वन॒स्पति॒र्हिर॑ण्यपर्णो॒ मधु॑शाखः सुपिप्प॒लो दे॒वमिन्द्र॑मवर्धयत् । दिव॒मग्रे॑णास्पृक्ष॒दान्तरि॑क्षं पृथि॒वीम॑दृꣳहीद्वसु॒वने॑ वसु॒धेय॑स्य वेतु॒ यज॑ ॥ (२०)

बनस्पति देव सोने के पत्तों से युक्त, मधुर शाखाओं वाले और उत्तम फलों बाले हैं. वनस्पति इंद्र देव की बढ़ोतरी करने की कृपा करें. वनस्पति देव अपने उग्र त्याग से स्वर्गलोक व अंतरिक्षलोक का स्पर्श करते हैं. वनस्पति देव पृथ्वीलोक में व्याप्त हैं. वनस्पति देव यजमानों को धन देने व धन धारने की कृपा करें. होता इस के लिए यज्ञ करने की कृपा करें. O Gods! Indra Dev sits on the seat of Kush. O Gods! Please increase them. May they please overwhelm the objects in the sky and give opulence to the host. Please stabilize that splendour. May the host please perform yajna to get that splendour. (21)

अग्नि ने आज होता का वरण किया. पचने योग्य वस्तु व पुरोडाश को पकाया. इंद्र देव के लिए बकरी को बांधा. आज वनस्पति देव ने बकरी के दूध से इंद्र देव की बढ़ोतरी की. आज पुरोडाश पका कर उस से उन की बढ़ोतरी की. हे ऋषि गणो! आप भी ऐसा करने की कृपा कीजिए. (२३)

Hota performed yajna for Agni and Indra Dev. Both gods are great, successful, full of superior samidha, varenya and ayudhari. It is gayatri verses and senses offer sacrifices to them through power. The energy would offer sacrifices to them by light and their rays. (24)

Hota performed a yagna for Indra Dev. Aditi Devi streamed them in the womb. They are aged. Hota praises Indra Dev in the hot verse. They give them strength with the power of the senses. They are the lights of the cow (rays that conduct the yagya process). The hosts dedicate sacrifices to them. May they receive our blessings with Prayaj Dev. (25)

Hota performs yagna for Indra Dev. They are vritrasurashakashaks and sukhadatas. Som is accompanied by Anandadata and Ayudhari. We worship them again and again through our prayers. We perform yajna for Indra Dev. We praise him in the verse anushtup. Through sense power, we offer sacrifices to them with panchavi cows (rays prevailing in panchabhutas). Please take sacrifice with Prayaj Dev Indradi Devta. (26)
