अ॒स्याजरा॑सो द॒माम॒रित्रा॑ऽअ॒र्चद्धू॑मासोऽअ॒ग्नयः॑पाव॒काः । श्वि॒ती॒चयः॑ श्वा॒त्रा॒सो॑ भुर॒ण्यवो॑ वन॒र्षदो॑ वा॒यवो॒ न सोमाः॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
यजमान ने जो अग्नियां प्रज्वलित की हैं, वे अजर हैं. वे दुश्मनों से त्राण करने वाली, पूजनीय, धूम्रमय, पवित्र, शीघ्र फल देने वाली व भुवन को पालने वाली हैं. वे बन के समान व्यापक व वायु के समान प्राणदायी हैं. वे अग्नियां सोम की तरह हमारी इच्छा पूरी करने की कृपा करें. (१)
EN English Translation
The agnis that the host has lit are ajar. They are hostile to enemies, revered, pompous, holy, quick-bearing and nurturing bhuvan. They are as broad as ban and as vital as air. May they please fulfill our wish like Agniyaan Som. (1)
हर॑यो धू॒मके॑तवो॒ वात॑जूता॒ऽउप॒ द्यवि॑ । यत॑न्ते॒ वृथ॑ग॒ग्नयः॑ ॥ (२)

अग्नियां हरी हैं. धुएं की पताका वाली और वायु से बढ़ोतरी पाने वाली हैं. स्वर्गलोक में जाने के लिए बारबार प्रयत्न करती हैं. (२)

The agnis are green. They are going to get a glimpse of smoke and increase from air. They try again and again to go to heaven. (2)
यजा॑ नो मि॒त्रावरु॑णा॒ यजा॑ दे॒वाँ२ऽऋ॒तं बृ॒हत् । अग्ने॒ यक्षि॒ स्वं दम॑म् ॥ (३)

हे अग्नि! आप मित्र, वरुण व अन्य देवताओं के लिए यजन करने की कृपा कीजिए. आप सत्यवान व विशाल हैं. आप अपने घर को यज्ञ के शुभ कायो से युक्त करने की कृपा कीजिए. (३)
EN English Translation
O agni! Please pray for friends, Varuna and other gods. You are truthful and huge. Please fill your house with auspicious functions of yajna. (3)
यु॒क्ष्वा हि दे॑व॒हूत॑माँ॒२ऽअश्वाँ॑२ऽअग्ने र॒थीरि॑व । नि होता॑ पू॒र्व्यः स॑दः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! जैसे सारथी रथ में घोड़े जोतता है, वैसे ही देवों को (यज्ञ में) आमंत्रित करने के लिए आप घोड़ों को रथ में जोतिए. आप चिरकाल से ही यज्ञ में बुलाए जाते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
O agni! Just as the charioteer ploughs horses in the chariot, you plough the horses in the chariot to invite the devas (to the yagna). You have been called to the yagna since time immemorial. (4)
द्वे विरू॑पे चरतः॒ स्वर्थे॑ऽअ॒न्यान्या॑ व॒त्समुप॑ धापयेते । हरि॑र॒न्यस्यां॒ भव॑ति स्व॒धावा॑ञ्छु॒क्रोऽअ॒न्यस्यां॑ दद्य्शे सु॒वर्चाः॑ ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
रात्रि और दिवस अपने श्रेष्ठ काम के लिए वैसे ही विचरते हैं, जैसे अलगअलग रूपरंग वाली स्त्रयां विचरती हैं. रात्रि हरी (काली) है. रात्रि के स्वधावान चमकीले पुत्र चंद्रमा हुए. दूसरी के श्रेष्ठ वर्चस्वी पुत्र सूर्य हुए. ऐसा देखा (कहा) जाता है. (५)
EN English Translation
Nights and days travel for their best work, just as women with different forms travel. The night is green (black). Moon was the brightest son of the night. The other had the best dominant son Surya. It is seen (called). (5)
अ॒यमि॒ह प्र॑थ॒मो धा॑यि धा॒तृभि॒र्होता॒ यजि॑ष्ठोऽअध्व॒रेष्वीड्यः॑ । यमप्न॑वानो॒ भृग॑वो विरुरु॒चुर्वने॑षु चि॒त्रं वि॒भ्वं वि॒शेवि॑शे ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
यह अग्नि अग्रगण्य हैं. यज्ञ में सर्वप्रथम इन्हीं का ध्यान किया जाता है. यह यजमानों के होता व यज्ञ में उपासनीय हैं. यज्ञों में विशेष रूप से इन्हें प्रतिष्ठित किया जाता है. इन अग्नि को अप्नवान, भृगु, विरुरुचु आदि ऋषियों ने वनों में बारबार प्रतिष्ठित किया है. (६)
EN English Translation
These agnis are leading. They are first meditated in the yajna. It is the worshiper of the hosts in the yagna. They are especially distinguished in yagyas. These agnis have been repeatedly established in the forests by sages like Apnavan, Bhrigu, Viruruchu etc. (6)
त्रीणि॑ श॒ता त्री स॒हस्रा॑ण्य॒ग्निं त्रि॒ꣳशच्च॑ दे॒वा नव॑ चासपर्यन् । औक्ष॑न् घृ॒तैरस्तृ॑णन् ब॒र्हिर॑स्मा॒ऽआदिद्धोता॑रं॒ न्यसादयन्त ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यजमानो! तीन हजार, तीन सौ तीस और नौ अर्थात् तैंतीस सौ उनतालीस देवता अग्नि की उपासना करते हैं. देवगण घी की आहुतियों से अग्नि को सींचते हैं. अग्नि के विराजने के लिए कुश का आसन बिछाते हैं. उन्हें होता के रूप में प्रतिष्ठित कर के यज्ञ करते हैं. (७)
EN English Translation
O hosts! Three thousand, three hundred thirty and nine i.e. thirty-three hundred forty-nine gods worship agni. Devgan waters the agni with ghee offerings. They lay the seat of Kush to sit on agni. Perform yajna by establishing them as used to. (7)
मू॒र्द्धानं॑ दि॒वोऽअ॑र॒तिं पृ॑थि॒व्या वैश्वान॒रमृ॒तऽआ जा॒तम॒ग्निम् । क॒विꣳ स॒म्राज॒मति॑थिं॒॑ जना॑नामा॒सन्ना पात्रं॑ जनयन्त दे॒वाः ॥ (८)

अग्नि मूर्धन्य, स्वर्गलोक में भी श्रेष्ठ, पृथ्वीलोक को सूर्य के रूप में जगमगाने बाले व वैश्वानर हैं. वे यज्ञ में उत्पन्न होने वाले, कवि, सम्राट्, यजमान के अतिथि हैं. देवताओं के आह्याहक हैं. यजमानों ने अपनी रक्षा हेतु पात्र में अग्नि को उपजाया. (८)
EN English Translation
Agni murdhanya, superior even in heaven, shining the earth in the form of sun and vaishwanar. He is the guest of the poet, emperor, host born in the yajna. The gods are ahihaks. The hosts raised agni in the vessel to protect themselves. (8)
अ॒ग्निर्वृ॒त्राणि॑ जङ्घनद् द्रविण॒स्युर्वि॑प॒न्यया॑ । समि॑द्धः शु॒क्रऽआहु॑तः ॥ (९)

अग्नि वृत्र को मारते हैं (नष्ट करते हैं). अग्नि धनवान व प्रकाशमान हैं. समिधा से उन्हें प्रदीप्त किया जाता है. उन को आहुति समर्पित करते हैं. (९)
EN English Translation
Kill (destroy) the agni tree. Fire is rich and luminous. They are illuminated with samidha. Dedicate sacrifices to them. (9)
विश्वे॑भिः सो॒म्यं मध्वग्न॒ऽइन्द्रे॑ण वा॒युना॑ । पिबा॑ मि॒त्रस्य॒ धाम॑भिः ॥ (१०)

हे अग्नि! आप इंद्र देव, वायु, मित्र देव व सभी देवताओं के साथ आइए. आप इन सब के साथ मधुर सोमरस का पान करने की कृपा कीजिए. (१०)
EN English Translation
O agni! You come with Indra Dev, Vayu, Mitra Dev and all the gods. Please drink sweet somers with all this. (10)
आ यदि॒षे नृ॒पतिं॒ तेज॒ऽआन॒ट् शुचि॒ रेतो॒ निषि॑क्तं॒ द्यौर॒भीके॑ । अ॒ग्निः शर्द्ध॑मनव॒द्यं युवा॑नꣳस्वा॒ध्यं जनयत्सू॒दय॑च्च ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जब अग्नि में अन्न और पवित्र जल से शुद्ध हवि से यजन किया जाता है, तब अग्नि जल से सींचते हैं. यह जल बलशाली बनाता है. यह सुखवर्द्धक, निरंतर प्रवाहित होने वाला, युवा बनाने वाला व जग के लिए उपजाऊ है. (११)
EN English Translation
When the agni is purified with food and holy water, then the agni is irrigated with water. It makes water strong. It is a pleasant, continuous flowing, youth-making and fertile for the world. (11)
अ॒ग्ने॒ शर्द्ध॑ मह॒ते सौभ॑गाय॒ तव॑ द्यु॒म्नान्यु॑त्त॒मानि॑ सन्तु । सं जा॑स्प॒त्यꣳ सु॒यम॒मा कृ॑णुष्व शत्रूय॒ताम॒भि ति॑ष्ठा॒ महा॑सि ॥ (१२)

हे अग्नि! आप हमें अपनी महत्ता प्रदान कीजिए. आप हमारे सौभाग्य में बढ़ोतरी कीजिए. स्वर्गलोक से आप और अधिक यशस्वी हों. आप यजमान जोड़े को प्रेम भाव से जोडिए. यजमान से शत्रुभाव रखने वालों की साख (प्रतिष्ठा) गिराइए. (१२)
EN English Translation
O agni! You give us your importance. You increase our good fortune. May you be more successful from heaven. You connect the host couple with love. Lower the reputation of those who are hostile to the host. (12)
त्वा हि म॒न्द्रत॑ममर्कशो॒कैर्व॑वृ॒महे॒ महि॑ नः॒ श्रोष्य॑ग्ने । इन्द्रं॒ न त्वा॒ शव॑सा दे॒वता॑ वा॒युं पृ॑णन्ति॒ राध॑सा॒ नृत॑माः ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप के लिए महिमामय स्तोत्र गा रहे हैं. आप उन्हें सुनने की कृपा कीजिए. आप विचारक हैं. हम सूर्य की तरह आप का वरण करते हैं. आप इंद्र देव की तरह बलवान और वायु की भांति बलशाली हैं. हम आप को धनधान्य भरी आहुतियों से परिपूर्ण करते हैं. (१३)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are singing glorified hymns. Please listen to them. You are a thinker. We choose you like the sun. You are as strong as Indra Dev and as strong as Air. We fill you with rich offerings. (13)
त्वेऽअ॑ग्ने स्वाहुत प्रि॒यासः॑ सन्तु सू॒रयः॑ । य॒न्तारो॒ ये म॒घवा॑नो॒ जना॑नामू॒र्वान् दय॑न्त॒ गोना॒म् ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! हम आप के लिए श्रेष्ठ आहुति भेंट करते हैं. शूरवीर आप के प्रिय हो जाते हैं. जो धनवान और ऊर्जावान हैं, उन के प्रति आप दयावान हैं. उन पर गोधन आदि की कृपा करते हैं. (१४)

O agni! We offer you the best sacrifices. Knights become dear to you. You are kind to those who are rich and energetic. Godhan etc. are kind to them. (14)
श्रु॒धि श्रु॑त्कर्ण॒ वह्नि॑भिर्दे॒वैर॑ग्ने स॒याव॑भिः । आ सी॑दन्तु ब॒र्हिषि॑ मि॒त्रोऽअ॑र्य्य॒मा प्रा॑त॒र्यावा॑णोऽअध्व॒रम् ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप श्रेष्ठ कानों बाले हैं. आप हमारे द्वारा की गई स्तुतियों को सुनते हैं. हम देवताओं के लिए अग्नि में जो आहुति अर्पित करते हैं. आप उस हवि को वहन करते हैं. आप हमारे प्रातःकालीन सज्ञों में मित्र देव व अर्यमा देव के साथ आइए. आप उन के साथ कुश के आसन पर विराजने की कृपा कीजिए. (१५)

O agni! You are the best ears. You listen to the praises we make. The sacrifices we offer in the agni for the gods. You bear that havi. You come with friends Dev and Aryama Dev in our morning experts. Please sit with them on the seat of Kush. (15)
विश्वे॑षा॒मदि॑तिर्य॒ज्ञिया॑नां॒ विश्वे॑षा॒मति॑थि॒र्मानु॑षाणाम् । अ॒ग्निर्दे॒वाना॒मव॑ऽआवृणा॒नः सु॑मृडी॒को भ॑वतु जा॒तवे॑दाः ॥ (१६)

अग्नि! आप सर्वज्ञाता, देवों में अदिति देव जैसे (वर्चस्वी), यज्ञ करने योग्य, मनुष्यों के लिए अतिथि जैसे आदरणीय व प्रकाशमान हैं. आप देवताओं तक हमारी हवि पहुंचाने व हमें भरपूर सुख प्रदान करने की कीजिए. (१६)

Fire! You are omniscient, respected and enlightened like Aditi Dev among the gods, worthy of yajna, guest for human beings. You should convey our desire to the gods and give us full happiness. (16)
म॒होऽअ॒ग्नेः स॑मिधा॒नस्य॒ शर्म॒ण्यना॑गा मि॒त्रे वरु॑णे स्व॒स्तये॑ । श्रेष्ठे॑ स्याम सवि॒तुः सवी॑मनि॒ तद्दे॒वाना॒मवो॑ऽअ॒द्या वृ॑णीमहे ॥ (१७)

हे अग्नि! आप महिमाशाली व समिधावान हैं. हम आप का संरक्षण पाना चाहते हैं. हम अपने कल्याण के लिए मित्र और वरुण देव की उपासना करते हैं. हम सविता देव की कृपा से श्रेष्ठता प्राप्त करें. अर्थात् श्रेष्ठ हो जाएं. हम देवताओं को हवि प्रदान करने के लिए आप का वरण करते हैं. (१७)

O agni! You are glorious and prosperous. We want to protect you. We worship friends and Varun Dev for our welfare. May we attain superiority by the grace of Savita Dev. That is, become superior. We choose you to give strength to the gods. (17)
आप॑श्चित्पिप्यु स्त॒र्यो̫ न गावो॒ नक्ष॑न्नृ॒तं ज॑रि॒तार॑स्तऽइन्द्र । या॒हि वा॒युर्न नि॒युतो॑ नो॒ऽअच्छा॒ त्वꣳहि धी॒भिर्दय॑से॒ वि वाजा॑न् ॥ (१८)

हे इंद्र देव! यजमान यज्ञ में आप का ध्यान करते हैं. आप के लिए मंत्र गाते हैं. आप के लिए जल व शक्ति की बढ़ोतरी करते हैं. आप हमारे पास आइए. आप आने के लिए वायु जैसे बेगशाली घोड़े जोतिए. आप हमें अन्न व बल दीजिए. (१८)

O Indra Dev! The host meditates on you in the yagna. Sing mantras for you. Increase water and power for you. You come to us. You plough loose horses like Vayu to come. You give us food. (18)
गाव॒ऽउपा॑वताव॒तं म॒ही य॒ज्ञस्य॑ र॒प्सुदा॑ । उ॒भा कर्णा॑ हिर॒ण्यया॑ ॥ (१९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सूर्य की किरणें यज्ञ व पृथ्वी की रक्षा करती हैं. किरणों के दोनों कान स्वर्णमय हैं. (१९)

The rays of the sun protect the yajna and the earth. Both ears of the rays are golden. (19)
यद॒द्य सूर॒ऽउदि॒तेऽना॑गा मि॒त्रोऽअ॑र्य्य॒मा । सु॒वाति॑ सवि॒ता भगः॑ ॥ (२०)

आज सूर्य के उदित होने पर निश्छल यजमानों को मित्र और अर्यमा देव श्रेष्ठ कामों में लगाने की कृपा करें. सविता देव सौभाग्यशाली बनाएं, वे श्रेष्ठ कामों में लगाएं. (२०)

Today, when the sun rises, please engage the innocent hosts in the best of their friends and aryama dev. Make Savita Dev lucky, put them in the best works. (20)
आ सु॒ते सि॑ञ्चत॒ श्रिय॒ꣳ रोद॑स्योरभि॒श्रिय॑म् । र॒सा द॑धीत वृष॒भम् । तं प्र॒त्नथा॑ । अ॒यं वे॒नः ॥ (२१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
यजमानगण प्रवहमान सोमरस को सिंचित करते हैं. स्वर्गलोक और पृथ्वीलोक के संरक्षण में सोम का प्रबाह बहुत तेज होता है. वह शोभायमान होता है. (२१)

Hosts irrigate the pravahman somerus. In the protection of heaven and earth, the influence of Soma is very fast. He is beautiful. (21)
आ॒तिष्ठ॑न्तं॒ परि॒ विश्वे॑ऽअभूष॒ञ्छ्रियो॒ वसा॑नश्चरति॒ स्वरो॑चिः । म॒हत्तद् वृष्णो॒ऽअसु॑रस्य॒ नामा वि॒श्वरू॑पोऽअ॒मृता॑नि तस्थौ ॥ (२२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र देव प्रकाशमान और वैभववान हैं. सभी देवताओं ने मिल कर उन की प्रतिष्ठा की है. सभी देव चारों ओर से घेर कर उन की उपासना करते हैं. वे महान् व विश्वरूप हैं. कई असुरों को मार कर उन्होंने ख्याति पाईं है. वे अमर हैं. (२२)

Indra Dev is bright and brilliant. All the gods have honored them together. All the gods surround them and worship them. He is a great worldview. He has gained fame by killing many asuras. They are immortal. (22)
प्र वो॑ म॒हे मन्द॑माना॒यान्ध॒सोऽर्चा॑ वि॒श्वान॑राय विश्वा॒भुवे॑ । इन्द्र॑स्य॒ यस्य॒ सुम॑ख॒ꣳ सहो॒ महि॒ श्रवो॑ नृ॒म्णं च॒ रोद॑सी सप॒र्य्यतः॑ ॥ (२३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यजमानो! इंद्र देव महिमाशाली, सब लोकों के पालक, संपूर्ण जग को उपजाने वाले व मदमस्त बनाने बाले हैं. हम उन की अर्चना करते हैं. इंद्र देव के लिए श्रेष्ठ यज्ञ किए जाते हैं. उन की महिमा सुनी जाती है, जो पृथ्वी और स्वर्ग दोनों लोकों को महान् वैभव प्रदान करते हैं. (२३)
EN English Translation
O hosts! Indra Dev is glorious, the foster of all the worlds, the one who grows the whole world and makes it crazy. We worship them. The best sacrifices are performed for Indra Dev. The glory of those who give great glory to both earth and heaven is heard. (23)
बृ॒हन्निदि॒ध्मऽए॑षां॒ भूरि॑ श॒स्तं पृ॒थुः स्वरुः॑ । येषा॒मिन्द्रो॒ युवा॒ सखा॑ ॥ (२४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र देव युवा, हमारे सखा, विशाल व शत्रुनाश हैं. वे बहु प्रशंसित और सामर्थ्यशाली हैं. (२४)

Indra Dev is young, our friend, great and enemy. They are highly acclaimed and powerful. (24)
इन्द्रेहि॒ मत्स्यन्ध॑सो॒ विश्वे॑भिः सोम॒पर्व॑भिः । म॒हाँ२ऽअ॑भि॒ष्टिरोज॑सा ॥ (२५)

हे इंद्र देव! आप महान्, आदरणीय व सब को आनंद देने वाले हैं. आप सोम उत्सव में पधारिए. आहुति ग्रहण कर के प्रसन्न होइए. हमें ओजस्वी बनाइए. हमारे अभीष्ट पूरिए. (२५)

O Lord Indra! You are great, respected and give joy to all. You come to the Som festival. Be happy to receive the sacrifice. Make us energetic. Fulfill our desires. (25)
इन्द्रो॑ वृ॒त्रम॑वृणो॒च्छर्द्ध॑नीतिः॒ प्र मा॒यिना॑ममिना॒द्वर्प॑णीतिः । अह॒न् व्यꣳसमु॒शध॒ग्वने॑ष्वा॒विर्धेना॑ऽअकृणोद्रा॒म्याणा॑म् ॥ (२६)

हे इंद्र देव! आप वृत्रासुर, मायावी राक्षसों व दुष्टों का दलन करने वाले हैं. आप आह्लादक और हमारी स्तुतियों को प्रकट करते हैं. (२६)

O Indra Dev! You are going to crush Vritrasura, the elusive demons and the wicked. You express your heart and our praises. (26)
कुत॒स्त्वमि॑न्द्र॒ माहि॑नः॒ सन्नेको॑ यासि सत्पते॒ किं त॑ऽइ॒त्था । सं पृ॑च्छसे समरा॒णः शु॑भा॒नैर्वो॒चेस्तन्नो॑ हरिवो॒ यत्ते॑ऽअ॒स्मे । म॒हाँ२ऽ इन्द्रो॒ यऽओज॑सा । क॒दा च॒न स्त॒रीर॑सि॒ । क॒दा च॒न प्रयु॑च्छसि ॥ (२७)

हे इंद्र देव! आप महिमाशाली सज्जनों के स्वामी हैं. आप अकेले कहां जाते हैं? आप इस प्रकार क्यों जाते हैं. अच्छी तरह जाते हुए आप से यह प्रश्न पूछा जाता है. आप के घोड़े हरे रंग के हैं. आप ओजस्वी हैं. आप कभी भी हिंसा आदि नहीं करते हैं. आप हमारे शुभचिंतक और अपने हैं. इसीलिए हम आप से यह सब पूछ रहे हैं. (२७)

O Indra Dev! You are the master of glorious gentlemen. Where do you go alone? Why do you go like this? Going well, you are asked this question. Your horses are green. You are energetic. You never indulge in violence etc. You are our well-wisher and yours. That's why we are asking you all this. (27)
आ तत्त॑ऽइन्द्रा॒यवः॑ पनन्ता॒भि यऽऊ॒र्वं गोम॑न्तं॒ तितृ॑त्सान् । स॒कृ॒त्स्वं] ये पु॑रुपु॒त्रां म॒ही स॒हस्र॑धारां बृह॒तीं दुदु॑क्षन् ॥ (२८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र देव! आप गोस्वामियों के घातकों व भूपतियों (भूमिस्वामी) के हत्यारों को मारते हैं. पृथ्वी पर सहस्तरों धाराओं वाले सोम को निचोड़ते हैं. उस का दोहन करते हैं. श्रेष्ठ कर्मो वाले आप के पुत्र आप की महिमा का गान करते हैं. (२८)

O Lord Indra! You kill the killers of the cow owners and the killers of the land owners. On earth, the earth is squeezed by thousands of streams. Let's exploit that. Your sons with the best deeds sing your glory. (28)
इ॒मां ते॒ धियं॒ प्र भ॑रे म॒हो म॒हीम॒स्य स्तो॒त्रे धि॒षणा॒ यत्त॑ऽआन॒जे । तमु॑त्स॒वे च॑ प्रस॒वे च॑ सास॒हिमिन्द्रं॑ दे॒वासः॒ शव॑सामद॒न्ननु॑ ॥ (२९)

हे इंद्र! हम आप की बुद्धि को धारण करते हैं. आप महान व पृथ्वी का भरणपोषण करने में समर्थ हैं. हम आप की स्तुति करते हैं. उत्सव और प्रसव के समय हमें कष्ट पहुंचाने वाले शत्रुओं का साहसी इंद्र देव दमन करते हैं. देवगण भी आनंदित हो कर इंद्र देव के गुण गाते हैं. (२९)
EN English Translation
O Indra! We hold your intellect. You are great and capable of sustaining the earth. We praise you. The courageous Indra Dev suppresses the enemies who hurt us at the time of celebration and delivery. Devgan also sings the virtues of Indra Dev with joy. (29)
वि॒भ्राड् बृ॒हत् पि॑बतु सो॒म्यं मध्वायु॒र्दध॑द् य॒ज्ञप॑ता॒ववि॑ह्रुतम् । वात॑जूतो॒ योऽअ॑भि॒रक्ष॑ति॒ त्मना॑ प्र॒जाः पु॑पोष पुरु॒धा वि रा॑जति ॥ (३०)

हे इंद्र देव! आप चमकीले व विशाल हैं. आप सोमरस को पीने की कृपा कीजिए. सोमरस मधुर है. हम यज्ञ में आप का आह्वान करते हैं. आप अपनी प्रजा की सर्वविधि (सब प्रकार से) रक्षा करते हैं. आप प्रजा का पालनपोषण और उ्हें बहुविधि प्रकाशित करते हैं. (३०)

O Lord Indra! You are bright and huge. Please drink Somers. Somers is sweet. We invoke you in yajna. You protect your people in every way. You nurture the people and publish them multiplicity. (30)
