ब्रह्म॑ च॒ तप॑श्च की॒र्तिश्च॒ यश॑श्चाम्भश्च॒ नभ॑श्च ब्राह्मणवर्च॒सं चान्नं॑ चा॒न्नाद्यं॑ च ॥ य ए॒तं दे॒वमे॑क॒वृतं॒ वेद॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
ब्रह्म, तप, कीर्ति, यश, जल, आकाश, ब्रह्मचर्य, अन्न और अन्न को पचाने की शक्ति व भूत, भविष्य, श्रद्धा, रुचि, स्वर्ग और स्वधा-ये सभी उस एक वृत अर्थात् ब्रह्म के ज्ञाता को प्राप्त होते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
Brahma, glory, fame, water, sky, celibacy, food, the power to digest food and past, future, faith, goal, heaven, self - all these are attained by the knower of Brahma. (1)
भू॒तं च॒ भव्यं॑ च श्र॒द्धा च॒ रुचि॑श्च स्व॒र्गश्च॑ स्व॒धा च॑ ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
ब्रह्म, तप, कीर्ति, यश, जल, आकाश, ब्रह्मचर्य, अन्न और अन्न को पचाने की शक्ति व भूत, भविष्य, श्रद्धा, रुचि, स्वर्ग और स्वधा-ये सभी उस एक वृत अर्थात् ब्रह्म के ज्ञाता को प्राप्त होते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
Brahma, glory, fame, water, sky, celibacy, food, the power to digest food and past, future, faith, goal, heaven, self - all these are attained by the knower of Brahma. (1)

वे ही मृत्यु, अमृत, अभ्व हैं तथा वही राक्षस हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
They are death, nectar, avva and they are demons. (4)
स रु॒द्रो व॑सु॒वनि॑र्वसु॒देये॑ नमोवा॒के व॑षट्का॒रोऽनु॒ संहि॑तः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वही रुद्र धनदान के समय धन प्राप्त करने वाले तथा वही नमस्कार यज्ञ में उत्तम रीति से बोला गया वष्टकार है. (५)
EN English Translation
The same Rudra is the recipient of wealth at the time of dhandan and the same namaskar is the best spoken in the yagna. (5)

ये सब राक्षस आदि उस की आज्ञा में रहते हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
All these demons etc. live in his command. (6)

ये सब नक्षत्र चंद्रमा के साथ उस के वश में रहते हैं. (७)

All these constellations remain under its control with the moon. (7)
