हे अग्नि! मेरे शरीर में शत्रुओं को पराजित करने वाला तेज हो तथा तेज के साथ मुझे पूर्ण आयु और बल प्रदान करो. मै ज्ञानेंद्रियों तथा करमेद्रियों की दृढ़ता के लिए तुझे स्वीकार करता हूं. मैं अग्निहोत्र आदि कर्म के लिए वायु पर विजय प्राप्त करने वाले कार्य के लिए तथा सौ वर्ष का जीवन प्राप्त करने के लिए तुझे ग्रहण करता हूं. O agni! May there be a sharpness in my body that defeats enemies and give me full life and strength with glory. I accept you for the perseverance of the senses and the karmedris. I accept you for the work that conquers the air for the work of agnihotra etc. and to get a life of a hundred years. (2)
