अधा॒ हीन्द्र॑ गिर्वण॒ उप॑ त्वा॒ कामा॑न्म॒हः स॑सृ॒ज्महे॑ । उ॒देव॒ यन्त॑ उ॒दभिः॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! जिस प्रकार जल की कामना करते हुए मनुष्य जल में जल को मिलाते हैं, उसी प्रकार तुम्हारी कामना करने वाले मनुष्य तुम्हें सोम रूपी जलों से मिलाते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Just as human beings mix water in water while wishing for water, similarly people who wish for you mix you with waters in the form of Soma. (1)
वार्ण त्वा॑ य॒व्याभि॒र्वर्ध॑न्ति शूर॒ ब्रह्मा॑णि । वा॑वृ॒ध्वांसं॑ चिदद्रिवो दि॒वेदि॑वे ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वज्रधारी इंद्र! तुम प्रत्येक स्तुति पर अपनी वृद्धि की कामना करते हो, इसलिए ये मंत्र तुम्हें जल की भांति वृद्धियुक्त बनाते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
O Vajradhari Indra! You wish for your growth on every praise, so these mantras make you grow like water. (2)
यु॒ञ्जन्ति॒ हरी॑ इषि॒रस्य॒ गाथ॑यो॒रौ रथ॑ उ॒रुयु॑गे । इ॑न्द्र॒वाहा॑ वचो॒युजा॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
युद्ध के लिए प्रस्थान करने वाले इंद्र के यशोगान संबंधी मंत्रों से रथ में जुड़ने वाले इंद्र के घोड़े रथ में जुड़ते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
Indra's horses, which join the chariot with the yashogan mantras of Indra departing for war, join the chariot. (3)
