श॑ग्ध्यू॒षु श॑चीपत॒ इन्द्र॒ विश्वा॑भिरू॒तिभिः॑ । भगं॒ न हि त्वा॑ य॒शसं॑ वसु॒विद॒मनु॑ शूर॒ चरा॑मसि ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! मैं यह चाहता हूं कि मैं तुम्हारे सभी रक्षा साधनों के द्वारा यश और सौभाग्य प्राप्त करने के हेतु तुम्हारा अनुयायी बनूं. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra! I want to be your follower to achieve fame and good fortune through all your protective means. (1)
पौ॒रो अश्व॑स्य पुरु॒कृद्गवा॑म॒स्युत्सो॑ देव हिर॒ण्ययः॑ । नकि॒र्हि दानं॑ परि॒मर्धि॑ष॒त्त्वे यद्य॒द्यामि॒ तदा भ॑र ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम नगरवासियों के लिए अश्व के समान हो तथा धन को अपरिमित बनाते हो. तुम गायों की वृद्धि करने वाले तथा स्वर्ण से पूर्ण और मनचाहा दान देने वाले हो. मैं जिन वस्तुओं को पाने के लिए तुम्हारे आश्रय में आया हूं, उन वस्तुओं को मुझे प्रदान करो. (२)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are like a horse to the people of the city and make wealth unlimited. You are the one who grows cows and gives full and desired donations of gold. Give me the things I have come to your shelter to get. (2)
इन्द्र॒मिद्दे॒वता॑तय॒ इन्द्रं॑ प्रय॒त्यध्व॒रे । इन्द्रं॑ समी॒के व॒निनो॑ हवामह॒ इन्द्रं॒ धन॑स्य सा॒तये॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम इंद्र की सेवा करने वाले हैं. संग्राम उपस्थित होने पर हम धन प्राप्ति के लिए इंद्र को बुलाते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
We are going to serve Indra. When Sangram is present, we call Indra to get money. (3)
इन्द्रो॑ म॒ह्ना रोद॑सी पप्रथ॒च्छव॒ इन्द्रः॒ सूर्य॑मरोचयत् । इन्द्रे॑ ह॒ विश्वा॒ भुव॑नानि येमिर॒ इन्द्रे॑ सुवा॒नास॒ इन्द॑वः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंदर ने सूर्य को तेजोमय तथा आकाश और पृथ्वी को अपनी महिमा से विस्तृत किया है. इन इंद्र ने सब भुवनों को अपने आश्रय में लिया है. ये सोमरस इंद्र के लिए निष्पन्न किए जाते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
Inder has brightened the sun and expanded the sky and the earth with his glory. These Indras have taken all the Bhuvanas in his shelter. These somers are executed for Indra. (4)
