तत्सूर्य॑स्य देव॒त्वं तन्म॑हि॒त्वं म॒ध्या कर्तो॒र्वित॑तं॒ सं ज॑भार । य॒देदयु॑क्त ह॒रितः॑ स॒धस्था॒दाद्रात्री॒ वास॑स्तनुते सि॒मस्मै॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वे सूर्य जब अपनी महिमा से रश्मियों को अपने में समेट लेते हैं, तब लोग फैले हुए अपने सब कार्यो को भी समेट लेते हैं. उस समय अंधकार को सब ओर से समेटती हुई पृथ्वी वस्त्र धारण करती है. (१)
EN English Translation
When those suns merge the rays with their glory, then people also combine all their work spread. At that time, the earth wears clothes covering the darkness from all sides. (1)
तन्मि॒त्रस्य॒ वरु॑णस्याभि॒चक्षे॒ सूर्यो॑ रू॒पं कृ॑णुते॒ द्योरु॒पस्थे॑ । अ॑न॒न्तम॒न्यद्रुश॑दस्य॒ प्राजः॑ कृ॒ष्णम॒न्यद्ध॒रितः॒ सं भ॑रन्ति ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मैं मित्र और वरुण की महिमा का गान करता हूं. वे सूर्य के रूप में स्वर्ग में अपने रूप का निर्माण करते हैं, जिस से उन का तेज प्रकाशित होता है. इन का दूसरा तेज काले रंग का है. उसे सूर्य की रश्मियां धारण करती हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
I sing the glory of friend and Varun. They create their form in heaven in the form of the sun, from which their glory is illuminated. The second sharp of these is black. He is wearing the rays of the sun. (2)
