यद॑स्या अंहु॒भेद्याः॑ कृ॒धु स्थू॒लमु॒पात॑सत् । मु॒ष्काविद॑स्या एज॒तो गो॑श॒फे श॑कु॒लावि॑व ॥ (१)

पाप का विनाश करने वाली ओषधि को क्रोध हो गया है. इस के सूखे हुए शकुल गाय के खुर के गड्ढे में भरे पानी में कांपते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
The medicine that destroys sin has become angry. Its dried shakul trembles in the water filled in the pit of the cow's hoof. (1)
यदा॑ स्थू॒लेन॒ पस॑साणौ मु॒ष्का उपा॑वधीत् । विष्व॑ञ्चा व॒स्या वर्ध॑तः॒ सिक॑तास्वेव॒ गर्द॑भौ ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जब स्थूल पसस् के द्वारा मनुष्यों में अणु का प्रहार किया गया, तब धूल में लोटने वाले गधों के समान आच्छादनी अर्थात् छप्पर में मुश्क बढ़ते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
When the molecule is struck in humans by the gross rib, the clouds like donkeys rolling in the dust increase in the roof. (2)
यद॑ल्पिका॒स्वल्पिका॒ कर्क॑न्धू॒केव॒ पद्य॑ते । वा॑सन्ति॒कमि॑व॒ तेज॑नं॒ यन्त्य॒वाता॑य॒ वित्प॑ति ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो कर्कधू अर्थात् बेरी के समान घर को नष्ट करने वाले तथा अल्प से भी अल्प कण प्राप्त होते हैं, तब वासंतिक तेज आधान के निमित्त उस में गमन करते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
Those who destroy the house like a berry and get even the smallest particles, then they go to it for the sake of vasantik sharp transfusion. (3)
यद्दे॒वासो॑ ललामगुं॒ प्रवि॑ष्टी॒मिन॑माविषुः । स॑कु॒ला दे॑दिश्यते॒ नारी॑ स॒त्यस्या॑क्षि॒भुवो॒ यथा॑ ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जब सुंदर गौ में प्रविष्ट देवता हर्षित होते हैं, तब नारी आंखों देखी के समान सत्य से युक्त हो जाती है. (४)
EN English Translation
When the gods entering the beautiful cow are happy, then the woman becomes full of truth like seeing the eyes. (4)
म॑हान॒ग्न्यतृप्नद्वि॒ मोक्र॑द॒दस्था॑नासरन् । शक्ति॑का॒नना॑ स्वच॒मश॑कं सक्तु॒ पद्य॑म् ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
महान अग्नि ऊपर खड़े हुए जनों पर आक्रमण न करते हुए तृप्ति प्राप्त करते हैं. हम तेजस्वी जनों को शक्ति प्राप्त हो. (५)
EN English Translation
Great agnis do not attack the people standing above and attain satisfaction. May we the brightest get strength. (5)
म॑हान॒ग्न्युलूखलमति॒क्राम॑न्त्यब्रवीत् । यथा॒ तव॑ वनस्पते॒ निर॑घ्नन्ति॒ तथै॑वेति ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
महान अग्नि उलूखल को लांघते हुए कहने लगे-हे बृहस्पति! लोग जिस प्रकार तुझे कूटते हैं, वैसा होना चाहिए. (६)
EN English Translation
Crossing the great agni, he said, "O Jupiter! It should be the way people beat you. (6)
म॑हान॒ग्न्युप॑ ब्रूते भ्र॒ष्टोऽथाप्य॑भूभुवः । यथै॒व ते॑ वनस्पते॒ पिप्प॑ति॒ तथै॑वेति ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
महान अग्नि ने कहा-तू मिट कर भी बारबार उत्पन्न होती है. हे वनस्पति! जिस भांति पूर्ण होती है, वैसा ही होना चाहिए. (७)
EN English Translation
The great agni said- You are born again and again even after being erased. O vegetation! It should be the way it is completed. (7)
म॑हान॒ग्न्युप॑ ब्रूते भ्र॒ष्टोऽथाप्य॑भूभुवः । यथा॑ वयो॒ विदाह्य॑ स्व॒र्गे न॒मवद॑ह्यते ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
महान अग्नि ने कहा-तू नष्ट हो कर भी उत्पन्न हो जाती है. जीर्ण अवस्था में होने पर भी स्वर्ग में तेरा दोहन हवि के समान किया जाता है. (८)
EN English Translation
The great agni said- You are born even after being destroyed. Even if you are in a dilapidated state, you are exploited like havi in heaven. (8)
म॑हान॒ग्न्युप॑ ब्रूते स्वसा॒वेशि॑तं॒ पसः॑ । इ॒त्थं फल॑स्य॒ वृक्ष॑स्य॒ शूर्पे॑ शूर्पं॒ भजे॑महि ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
महान अग्नि का कथन है कि यह पापनाशक ओषधि भलीभांति उत्तेजित की गई है. हम फल वाले वृक्ष के सूपों में सूप को प्रविष्ट करते हैं. (९)
EN English Translation
The great agni says that this sin-killing medicine has been well stimulated. We insert the soup into the soups of the fruit tree. (9)
म॑हान॒ग्नी कृ॑कवाकं॒ शम्य॑या॒ परि॑ धावति । अ॒यं न॑ वि॒द्म यो मृ॒गः शी॒र्ष्णा ह॑रति॒ धाणि॑काम् ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
महान अग्नि कृक शब्द करने वाले पर दौड़ते हैं. हमें यह ज्ञात है कि वे मृग के समान शीश के द्वारा मौन अर्पण का हरण करते हैं. (१०)
EN English Translation
The great agni is running on the one who does the word. We know that they remove the silent offering through an antelope-like head. (10)
म॑हान॒ग्नी म॑हान॒ग्नं धाव॑न्त॒मनु॑ धावति । इ॒मास्तद॑स्य॒ गा र॑क्ष॒ यभ॒ माम॑द्ध्यौद॒नम् ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
महान अग्नि महाअग्नि के पीछे दौड़ते हैं. वे इस की इंद्रियों के रक्षक हो कर ओदन अर्थात् भात को खाते हैं. (११)
EN English Translation
Run after the great agni maha agni. They become the protectors of its senses and eat odan i.e. rice. (11)
सुदे॑वस्त्वा म॒हान॑ग्नी॒र्बबा॑धते मह॒तः सा॑धु खो॒दन॑म् । कु॒सं पीव॒रो न॑वत् ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
महान अग्नि उत्पीड़न करने वाले हैं तथा बड़ेबड़ों को कुरेदते हैं. ये स्थूल और कृश सभी को नष्ट कर देते हैं. (१२)
EN English Translation
Great agnis are oppressors and scrape the big ones. These gross and worms destroy everyone. (12)
व॒शा द॒ग्धामि॑माङ्गु॒रिं प्रसृ॑जतो॒ग्रतं॑ परे । म॒हान्वै भ॒द्रो यभ॒ माम॑द्ध्यौद॒नम् ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वशा नाम की गाय ने इस जली हुई उंगली की रचना की. अन्य जन उग्र की रचना करते हैं. यह ओदन अर्थात् भात अत्यधिक कल्याणमय है. इस ओदन अर्थात् भात का भक्षण करो. (१३)
EN English Translation
A cow named Vasha composed this burnt finger. This odan i.e. rice is very good. Eat this odan i.e. rice. (13)
विदे॑वस्त्वा म॒हान॑ग्नी॒र्विबा॑धते मह॒तः सा॑धु खो॒दन॑म् । कु॑मारी॒का पि॑ङ्गलि॒का कार्द॒ भस्मा॑ कु॒ धाव॑ति ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
ये महान अग्नि विशेष पीड़ा देने वाले हैं. ये बड़ों को खोद डालते हैं. पिंगल अर्थात् पीले रंग की यह कुमारी कार्य करने के बाद भाग जाती है. (१४)
EN English Translation
These great agnis are special pain givers. They dig up the elders. This yellow virgin runs away after doing the work. (14)
म॒हान्वै॑ भ॒द्रो बि॒ल्वो म॒हान्भ॑द्र उदु॒म्बरः॑ । म॒हाँ अ॑भि॒क्त बा॑धते मह॒तः सा॑धु खो॒दन॑म् ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
बिल्व अर्थात् बेल और उदुंबुर अर्थात् गूलर-ये दोनों ही वृक्ष बड़े भले हैं. जो महान इन्हें सभी ओर से पीड़ित करता है, वह बड़ों को कुरेदता है. (१५)
EN English Translation
Bilva i.e. Bel and Udumbur i.e. Sycamore - both these trees are very good. The great one who afflicts them on all sides scratches the elders. (15)
यः कु॑मा॒री पि॑ङ्गलि॒का वस॑न्तं पीव॒री ल॑भेत् । तैल॑कुण्ड॒मिमा॑ङ्गु॒ष्ठं रोद॑न्तं शुद॒मुद्ध॑रेत् ॥ (१६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
पिंगलिका अर्थात् पीले रंग की कुमारी यदि वसंत को प्राप्त करे तो तैलकुंड में से अंगूठे के द्वारा कुरेदती हुई इस का उद्धार करे. (१६)
EN English Translation
If pingalika i.e. yellow colored kumari attains spring, then she should be saved by rubbing it with her thumb from the oil pool. (16)
