व्यन्तरि॑क्षमतिर॒न्मदे॒ सोम॑स्य रोच॒ना । इन्द्रो॒ यदभि॑नद्व॒लम् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सोमपान से उत्पन्न शक्ति के द्वारा जब इंद्र ने मेघ को विदीर्ण किया, तब वर्षा के जल से अंतरिक्ष की वृद्धि की. (१)
EN English Translation
When Indra pierced the cloud through the power generated by sompan, he increased space with rainwater.
उद्गा आ॑ज॒दङ्गि॑रोभ्य आ॒विष्कृण्वन्गुहा॑ स॒तीः । अ॒र्वाञ्चं॑ नुनुदे व॒लम् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र ने अंगिरा गोत्र वाले ऋषियों के लिए गुफा में छिपी गायों को प्रकट किया तथा उन्हें निकाल कर उन का अपहरण करने वाले राक्षसों को अधोमुख कर के मिटा दिया. (२)
EN English Translation
Indra revealed the hidden cows in the cave to the sages of the Angira tribe and removed them and wiped out the demons who abducted them. (2)
इन्द्रे॑ण रोच॒ना दि॒वो दृ॒ढानि॑ दृंहि॒तानि॑ च । स्थि॒राणि॒ न प॑रा॒णुदे॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो ग्रह और नक्षत्र आकाश में स्थित हैं, उन्हें इंद्र ने दृढ़ किया है, इसीलिए उन्हें कोई नीचे नहीं गिरा सकता. (३)
EN English Translation
The planets and constellations that are located in the sky have been strengthened by Indra, that is why no one can bring them down. (3)
अ॒पामू॒र्मिर्मद॑न्निव॒ स्तोम॑ इन्द्राजिरायते । वि ते॒ मदा॑ अराजिषुः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम्हारा स्तोत्र वर्षा के जल से सागर आदि को हर्षित करता हुआ तथा रस के समान हमारे मुख से प्रकट होता है. सोमपान के बाद तुम्हारी शक्ति विशिष्ट हो जाती है. (४)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Your stotra appears from our mouth like juice, cheering the ocean etc. with rainwater. After sompan, your power becomes special. (4)
