त्वं हि स्तो॑म॒वर्ध॑न॒ इन्द्रास्यु॑क्थ॒वर्ध॑नः । स्तो॑तॄ॒णामु॒त भ॑द्र॒कृत् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम स्तोत्रं तथा उवथों से वृद्धि प्राप्त करते हो. तुम स्तुति करने वालों के कल्याणकारी हो. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You get growth from stotras and uwasthas. You are the benefactor of those who praise. (1)
इन्द्र॒मित्के॒शिना॒ हरी॑ सोम॒पेया॑य वक्षतः । उप॑ य॒ज्ञं सु॒राध॑सम् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र के हरि नाम के अश्च उन्हें हमारे सुंदर फल वाले यज्ञ में सोमपान के लिए लाएं. (२)
EN English Translation
Bring Indra's ashcha named Hari to him for sompan in our beautiful fruit yagna. (2)
अ॒पां फेने॑न॒ नमु॑चेः॒ शिर॑ इ॒न्द्रोद॑वर्तयः । विश्वा॒ यदज॑यः॒ स्पृधः॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम ने जल के फेन का वज्र बना कर नमुचि राक्षस का सिर काट दिया था तथा विरोधी सेनाओं पर विजय प्राप्त की थी. (३)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You had cut off the head of the Namuchi demon by making a thunderbolt of the foam of water and conquered the opposing armies. (3)
मा॒याभि॑रु॒त्सिसृ॑प्सत इन्द्र॒ द्यामा॒रुरु॑क्षतः । अव॒ दस्यूँ॑रधूनुथाः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! जो असुर अपनी माया से आकाश पर चढ़ने की इच्छा करते हैं, उन्हें तुम अधोमुख कर के गिरा देते हो. (४)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Those asuras who wish to climb the sky with their maya, you turn them down and drop them down. (4)
अ॑सु॒न्वामि॑न्द्र सं॒सदं॒ विषू॑चीं॒ व्यनाशयः । सो॑म॒पा उत्त॑रो॒ भव॑न् ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम सोमरस पी कर बलवान बनते हो. जहां सोमरस नहीं निचोड़ा जाता, उस समाज को तुम नष्ट कर देते हो. (५)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You become strong by drinking somers. Where somerus is not squeezed, you destroy that society. (5)
