विश्वाः॒ पृत॑ना अभि॒भूत॑रं॒ नरं॑ स॒जूस्त॑तक्षु॒रिन्द्रं॑ जज॒नुश्च॑ रा॒जसे॑ । क्रत्वा॒ वरि॑ष्ठं॒ वर॑ आ॒मुरि॑मु॒तोग्रमोजि॑ष्ठं त॒वसं॑ तर॒स्विन॑म् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सभी सेनाओं ने शत्रुओं को मूर्च्छित करने वाले इंद्र का वरण किया है. वे इंद्र अत्यधिक शक्तिशाली और उग्र हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
All the armies have chosen Indra, who faints the enemies. That Indra is highly powerful and fierce. (1)
समीं॑ रे॒भासो॑ अस्वर॒न्निन्द्रं॒ सोम॑स्य पी॒तये॑ । स्वर्पतिं॒ यदीं॑ वृ॒धे धृ॒तव्र॑तो॒ ह्योज॑सा॒ समू॒तिभिः॑ ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
ये स्तोता सोमरस पीने के बाद इंद्र की स्तुति करते हैं. यह सोमरस अपनीअपनी रक्षा शक्ति के साथ इन स्तोताओं की ओर जाता है. (२)
EN English Translation
These stomata praise Indra after drinking Someras. This somerus leads to these psalms with its own defense power. (2)
ने॒मिं न॑मन्ति॒ चक्ष॑सा मे॒षं विप्रा॑ अभि॒स्वरा॑ । सु॑दी॒तयो॑ वो अ॒द्रुहो॑ऽपि॒ कर्णे॑ तर॒स्विनः॒ समृक्व॑भिः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र के वज्र पर दृष्टि पड़ते ही स्तोता उन्हें प्रणाम करते हैं. हे स्तोताओ! ऋक्व नाम वाले पितरों सहित, इस वज्र की धमक तुम्हारे कानों को व्यथित न बनाए. (३)
EN English Translation
As soon as he sees Indra's vajra, the stota bows to him. O stotao! Along with the ancestors named Rikva, the threat of this thunderbolt should not disturb your ears. (3)
