इ॒मा नु कं॒ भुव॑ना सीषधा॒मेन्द्र॑श्च॒ विश्वे॑ च दे॒वाः । य॒ज्ञं च॑ नस्त॒न्वं च प्र॒जां चा॑दि॒त्यैरि॑न्द्रः स॒ह ची॑क्लृपाति ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
यह इंद्र, विश्वे देव और भुवन सुख पाने का प्रयत्न करते हैं. वे इंद्र आदित्यों सहित आ कर हमारे यज्ञ, शरीर और संतान को शक्ति प्रदान करें. (१)
EN English Translation
This Indra, Vishwe Dev and Bhuvan try to get happiness. May indra come with adityas and give strength to our yajna, body and children. (1)
आ॑दि॒त्यैरिन्द्रः॒ सग॑णो म॒रुद्भि॑र॒स्माकं॑ भूत्ववि॒ता त॒नूना॑म् । ह॒त्वाय॑ दे॒वा असु॑रा॒न्यदाय॑न्दे॒वा दे॑व॒त्वम॑भि॒रक्ष॑माणाः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जिन देवताओं ने स्वर्ग की रक्षा के लिए राक्षसों का विनाश किया था, वे इंद्र आदित्य और मरुत् हमारे शरीर की रक्षा के लिए हमारे यज्ञ में पधारें. (२)
EN English Translation
The gods who destroyed the demons to protect heaven, Indra Aditya and Marut came to our yajna to protect our body. (2)
प्र॒त्यञ्च॑म॒र्कम॑नयं॒ छची॑भि॒रादित्स्व॒धामि॑षि॒रां पर्य॑पश्यन् । अ॒या वाजं॑ दे॒वहि॑तं सनेम॒ मदे॑म श॒तहि॑माः सु॒वीराः॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जिन इंद्र ने अपनी शक्ति से सूर्य को प्रत्यक्ष किया तथा पृथ्वी को अन्न वाली बनाया, उन्हीं इंद्र से हम देवताओं का हितकारी अन्न प्राप्त करें तथा वीरों से युक्त रहते हुए सौ वर्षो की आयु प्राप्त करें. (३)
EN English Translation
Indra, who made the sun manifest with his power and made the earth food, from the same Indra, we should get the beneficial food of the gods and get the age of a hundred years while being full of heroes. (3)
य एक॒ इद्वि॒दय॑ते॒ वसु॒ मर्ता॑य दा॒शुषे॑ । ईशा॑नो॒ अप्र॑तिष्कुत॒ इन्द्रो॑ अ॒ङ्ग ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र हवि देने वाले यजमान को अन्न देते हैं. इस कार्य में कोई भी इंद्र की सहायता नहीं कर सकता. (४)
EN English Translation
Indra gives food to the host who gives the havi. No one can help Indra in this work. (4)
क॒दा मर्त॑मरा॒धसं॑ प॒दा क्षुम्प॑मिव स्फुरत् । क॒दा नः॑ शुश्रव॒द्गिर॒ इन्द्रो॑ अ॒ङ्ग ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वे इंद्र यज्ञ न करने वालों पर अपने चरण का प्रहार कर के उन्हें कब ताड़ना देंगे तथा हम स्तोताओं की प्रार्थना कब सुनेंगे? (५)
EN English Translation
When will they attack those who do not perform Indra Yajna and chastise them by attacking them and when will we hear the prayers of the psalmists? (5)
यश्चि॒द्धि त्वा॑ ब॒हुभ्य॒ आ सु॒तावाँ॑ आ॒विवा॑सति । उ॒ग्रं तत्प॑त्यते॒ शव॒ इन्द्रो॑ अ॒ङ्ग ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! जो पुरुष सोमरस ले कर अनेक स्तोत्रं द्वारा तुम्हारी प्रार्थना करता है, वह प्रचंड बल और ऐश्वर्य प्राप्त करता है. (६)
EN English Translation
O Indra! The man who prays to you with somaras and many stotras attains tremendous strength and opulence. (6)
य इ॑न्द्र सोम॒पात॑मो॒ मदः॑ शविष्ठ॒ चेत॑ति । येना॒ हंसि॒ न्यत्त्रिणं॒ तमी॑महे ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम सोमरस अत्यधिक पीते हो. उस से बल उत्पन्न होता है. हे इंद्र! तुम अपने जिस बल से असुरों का नाश करते हो, हम तुम से उसी बल की याचना करते हैं. (७)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You drink sommers excessively. Force is generated from it. O Indra! With the force with which you destroy the asuras, we beseech you for the same force. (7)
येना॒ दश॑ग्व॒मध्रि॑गुं वे॒पय॑न्तं॒ स्वर्णरम् । येना॑ समु॒द्रमावि॑था॒ तमी॑महे ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! जिस बल से तुम ने दशग्व, अध्रिगु और कांपते हुए स्वर्णरथ की रक्षा की थी तथा सागर को पुष्ट किया था, हम तुम से उसी बल की याचना करते हैं. (८)
EN English Translation
O Indra! We ask you for the same force with which you protected Dashgva, Ahrigu and the trembling Golden chariot and strengthened the ocean. (8)
येन॒ सिन्धुं॑ म॒हीर॒पो रथाँ॑ इव प्रचो॒दयः॑ । पन्था॑मृ॒तस्य॒ यात॑वे॒ तमी॑महे ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! जिस बल से तुम ने जलों को सागर की ओर गमनशील बनाया. हम अमृत के मार्ग में आगे बढ़ने के लिए उसी बल की याचना करते हैं. (९)
EN English Translation
O Indra! The force with which you made the waters moving towards the ocean. We plead with the same force to move forward in the path of nectar. (9)
