यथा॒ मनो॑ मनस्के॒तैः प॑रा॒पत॑त्याशु॒मत् । ए॒वा त्वं का॑से॒ प्र प॑त॒ मन॒सोऽनु॑ प्रवा॒य्यम् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जिस प्रकार मन के द्वारा जाने जाते हुए दूरस्थ विषयों के साथ पुरुष शीघ्रता से ध्रुव मंडल तक जाता है, उसी प्रकार हे खांसी और कफ रोग वाली कृत्वा! तू मन के वेग से पुरुष के शरीर से निकल कर दूर देश में चली जा. (१)
EN English Translation
Just as a man quickly goes to the pole with distant subjects known by the mind, so o kritva with cough and phlegm disease! You go out of the man's body with the speed of the mind and go away to the country. (1)
यथा॒ बाणः॒ सुसं॑शितः परा॒पत॑त्याशु॒मत् । ए॒वा त्वं का॑से॒ प्र प॑त पृथि॒व्या अनु॑ सं॒वत॑म् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जिस प्रकार अच्छी तरह तेज किया हुआ बाण धनुष से छूट कर शीघ्र ही भूमि को छेदता हुआ गिरता है. हे खांसी! तू उसी प्रकार बाण से बिंधी हुई पृथ्वी को लक्ष्य कर के इस पुरुष से दूर चली जा. (२)
EN English Translation
Just as a well-sharpened arrow leaves the bow and soon falls piercing the ground. O cough! In the same way, aim at the earth tied with an arrow and go away from this man. (2)
