यद॒न्तरि॑क्षं पृथि॒वीमु॒त द्यां यन्मा॒तरं॑ पि॒तरं॑ वा जिहिंसि॒म । अ॒यं तस्मा॒द्गार्ह॑पत्यो नो अ॒ग्निरुदिन्न॑याति सुकृ॒तस्य॑ लो॒कम् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मैं ने अंतरिक्ष में रहने वाले, पृथ्वी पर रहने वाले तथा स्वर्गलोक में रहने वाले जनों की हिंसा के रूप में जो पाप किया है, मैं ने अपने मातापिता के प्रतिकूल आचरण कर के जो हिंसा रूपी पाप किया है, गृहस्थों द्वारा सेवित यह अग्नि मुझे उन पापों से छुड़ा कर उन लोकों को प्राप्त कराएं जो पुण्य कर्म करने वालों को प्राप्त होते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
May the sin that I have committed in the form of violence of those living in space, living on earth and living in heaven, the sin of violence that I have committed by behaving against my parents, this agni served by the householders, free me from those sins and get those worlds which are attained by those who do virtuous deeds. (1)
भूमि॑र्मा॒तादि॑तिर्नो ज॒नित्रं॒ भ्राता॒न्तरि॑क्षम॒भिश॑स्त्या नः । द्यौर्नः॑ पि॒ता पित्र्या॒च्छं भ॑वाति जा॒मिमृ॒त्वा माव॑ पत्सि लो॒कात् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
पृथ्वी हमारी माता है और देवमाता अदिति हमारे जन्म का कारण है. अंतरिक्ष हमारा भाई है. यह मुझे मिथ्या भाषण रूपी पाप से बचाए. आकाश हमारा पिता है. वह पिता से आए दोष से हमें बचाए एवं हमें सुखी बनाए. मैं व्यर्थ ही प्राण त्याग कर के तथा यज्ञ आदि न कर के स्वर्गलोक से अधोगति प्राप्त न करूं. (२)
EN English Translation
Earth is our mother and Devmata Aditi is the reason for our birth. Space is our brother. It saves me from the sin of false speech. Akash is our father. He saved us from the defects from the father and made us happy. I should not attain discharge from heaven by giving up my life in vain and not performing yajna etc. (2)
यत्रा॑ सु॒हार्दः॑ सु॒कृतो॒ मद॑न्ति वि॒हाय॒ रोगं॑ त॒न्वः स्वायाः॑ । अश्लो॑णा॒ अङ्गै॒रह्रु॑ताः स्व॒र्गे तत्र॑ पश्येम पि॒तरौ॑ च पु॒त्रान् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
यज्ञ आदि करने वाले सहृदय जन अपने शरीर के ज्वर आदि रोगों को त्याग कर स्वर्ग आदि लोकों में प्रसन्न होते हैं. हम भी कुष्ठ आदि रोगों से हीन अंगों के द्वारा सरल गति से चलते हुए स्वर्गलोक में अपने पिता, माता और पुत्रों से मिलें. (३)
EN English Translation
The kind people who perform yajna etc. are happy in heaven etc. by giving up diseases like fever etc. of their body. We should also meet our father, mother and sons in heaven by walking at a simple pace through organs inferior to diseases like leprosy etc. (3)
