दे॒वी दे॒व्यामधि॑ जा॒ता पृ॑थि॒व्याम॑स्योषधे । तां त्वा॑ नितत्नि॒ केशे॑भ्यो॒ दृंह॑णाय खनामसि ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे प्रकाश करती हुई, कालमाची नामक जड़ीबूटी! तू दिव्य पृथ्वी में उत्पन्न हुई है. हे नीचे की ओर जाने वाली जड़ीबूटी! मैं तुझे अपने केशों को दृढ़ करने के लिए खोदता हूं. (१)
EN English Translation
This light- shaped herb called Kalmachi! You have been born in the divine earth. O downward-going herb! I dig you up to strengthen my hair. (1)
दृंह॑ प्र॒त्नान् ज॒नयाजा॑तान् जा॒तानु॒ वर्षी॑यसस्कृधि ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे जड़ीबूटी! तू मेरे केशों को दृढ़ बना तथा मेरे जो केश उत्पन्न नहीं हुए, उन्हें उत्पन्न कर. मेरे जो केश उत्पन्न हो गए हैं, उन्हें तू अधिक विशाल बना दे. (२)
EN English Translation
O herb! Make my hair strong and produce my hair that has not been born. Make my hair that has been created more vast. (2)
यस्ते॒ केशो॑ऽव॒पद्य॑ते॒ समू॑लो॒ यश्च॑ वृ॒श्चते॑ । इ॒दं तं वि॒श्वभे॑षज्या॒भि षि॑ञ्चामि वी॒रुधा॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे केशों को दृढ़ करने के इच्छुक पुरुष! तेरा जो केश धरती पर गिरता है तथा जो जड़ रहित काटा जाता है, मैं तेरे उन सभी केशों को, केश संबंधी रोगों का विनाश करने वाली ओषधि से गीला करता हूं. (३)
EN English Translation
O men willing to firm up hairstyles! The hair that falls on the earth and which is cut without root, I wet all your hair with the medicine that destroys hair related diseases. (3)
