वा॒युरे॑नाः स॒माक॑र॒त्त्वष्टा॒ पोषा॑य ध्रियताम् । इन्द्र॑ आभ्यो॒ अधि॑ ब्रवद्रु॒द्रो भू॒म्ने चि॑कित्सतु ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वायु देव हमारी इन गायों को एकत्र करें, त्वष्टा देव इन्हें पोषण के लिए धारण करें, इंद्र इन के प्रति प्रेम भरी बातें कहें तथा रुद्र देव इन की संख्या वृद्धि के लिए इन की चिकित्सा करें. (१)
EN English Translation
Vayu Dev should collect these cows of ours, Tvashta Dev should wear them for nutrition, Indra should say loving things towards them and Rudra Dev should treat them to increase their number. (1)
लोहि॑तेन॒ स्वधि॑तिना मिथु॒नं कर्ण॑योः कृधि । अक॑र्तामश्विना॒ लक्ष्म॒ तद॑स्तु प्र॒जया॑ ब॒हु ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे गोपाल! तांबे के बने हुए लाल रंग के शस्त्र से गाय के बछड़ों और बछियों के कानों में नर और मादा होने का चिल्ल बनाओ. अश्विनीकुमार भी इन के कानों में इसी प्रकार का चिल्ल बनाएं. यह चिल्ल पूजा के रूप में संख्या में अधिकता प्राप्त करे. (२)
EN English Translation
O Gopal! Make a chill of male and female in the ears of cow calves and calves with a red weapon made of copper. Ashwinikumar also made a similar chill in his ears. May it gain an excess in number in the form of Chilla Puja. (2)
यथा॑ च॒क्रुर्दे॑वासु॒रा यथा॑ मनु॒ष्या उ॒त । ए॒वा स॑हस्रपो॒षाय॑ कृणु॒तं लक्ष्मा॑श्विना ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
देवों और असुरों ने पशुओं के कानों में शस्त्र से जिस प्रकार का नरमादा होने का चिह्ल बनाया, मनुष्यों ने भी इसी प्रकार चिल्ल बनाया. अश्विनीकुमार गायों की असीमित वृद्धि के लिए इसी प्रकार का चिल्ल बनाएं. (३)
EN English Translation
The kind of narmada mark that the gods and asuras made with weapons in the ears of animals, humans also made a chill in the same way. Ashwinikumar make a similar chill for the unlimited growth of cows. (3)
