अव॑ मा पाप्मन्त्सृज व॒शी सन्मृ॑डयासि नः । आ मा॑ भ॒द्रस्य॑ लो॒के पाप्म॑न्धे॒ह्यवि॑ह्रुतम् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे पाप के अभिमानी देव! मुझे छोड़ दो. तुम सब को वश में करने वाले हो. तुम मुझे सुख दो. हे पाप्मा! पीड़ारहित मुझ को पुण्य के फल के रूप में प्राप्त होने वाले लोक में स्थापित करो. (१)
EN English Translation
O proud God of sin! Leave me. You are going to subdue everyone. You give me pleasure. O Papama! Establish me without pain in the world that is received as the fruit of virtue. (1)
यो नः॑ पाप्म॒न्न जहा॑सि॒ तमु॑ त्वा जहिमो व॒यम् । प॒थामनु॑ व्या॒वर्त॑ने॒ऽन्यं पा॒प्मानु॑ पद्यताम् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे पाप्मा! यदि मुझे नहीं छोड़ोगे तो मैं इस अनुष्ठान द्वारा तुम्हें बलपूर्वक चार मार्गो के संगम रूप चौराहे पर छोडूंगा. वहां छोड़ा हुआ पाप हमारे शत्रुओं में प्रवेश करे. (२)
EN English Translation
O Papama! If you do not leave me, I will force you to leave you at the intersection of four paths by this ritual. May the sin left there enter our enemies. (2)
अ॒न्यत्रा॒स्मन्न्युच्यतु सहस्रा॒क्षो अम॑र्त्यः । यं द्वेषा॑म॒ तमृ॑च्छतु॒ यमु॑ द्वि॒ष्मस्तमिज्ज॑हि ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र के समान अमर रहने वाला एवं बली पाप उसी को प्राप्त हो, जिस से हम द्वेष करते हैं. हे पाप! जो हमारा शत्रु है, तू उसी के पास जा. (३)
EN English Translation
The same immortal and strong sin as Indra should be attained by the one with whom we hate. O sin! Go to him who is our enemy. (3)
