Kanda 6 • Sukta 33
यस्ये॒दमा रजो॒ युज॑स्तु॒जे जना॒ वनं॒ स्वः॑ । इन्द्र॑स्य॒ रन्त्यं॑ बृ॒हत् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मनुष्यो! जिस इंद्र का प्रसन्नताकारक प्रकाश शत्रु विनाश के लिए तत्पर करता है, उस इंद्र के रमणीय एवं सेवा के योग्य तेज को तुम ग्रहण करो. (१)
EN English Translation
O men! You should accept the delightful and serviceable radiance of Indra, whose pleasant light makes the enemy ready for destruction. (1)
नाधृ॑ष॒ आ द॑धृषते धृषा॒णो धृ॑षि॒तः शवः॑ । पु॒रा यथा॑ व्य॒थिः श्रव॒ इन्द्र॑स्य॒ नाधृ॑षे॒ शवः॑ ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वह इंद्र दूसरों से तिरस्कृत नहीं होते तथा अपना तिरस्कार करने वाले की शक्ति को पराजित करते हैं. प्राचीन काल में वृत्रासुर के वध के समय इंद्र के बल को कोई पराजित नहीं कर सका, उसी प्रकार अब भी उन का बल पराजित न हो. (२)
EN English Translation
That Indra is not despised by others and defeats the power of the one who despises him. In ancient times, at the time of the killing of Vritrasura, no one could defeat the force of Indra, in the same way, his strength should not be defeated even now. (2)
स नो॑ ददातु॒ तां र॒यिमु॒रुं पि॒शङ्ग॑संदृशम् । इन्द्रः॒ पति॑स्तु॒विष्ट॑मो॒ जने॒ष्वा ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हमें पीले रंग का धन अर्थात् स्वर्ण अधिक मात्रा में प्रदान करो. इंद्र सभी मनुष्यों के स्वामी तथा सभी प्रकार के उत्कर्ष वाले हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Give us yellow money i.e. gold in large quantities. Indra is the swami of all human beings and one of all kinds of excellence. (3)
