प्र॒जाप॑तिश्च परमे॒ष्ठी च॒ शृङ्गे॒ इन्द्रः॒ शिरो॑ अ॒ग्निर्ल॒लाटं॑ य॒मः कृका॑टम् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इस गाय के दोनों सींग प्रजापति और परमेष्ठी हैं. इंद्र ही इस का सिर, अग्नि ललाट और यम कृकाट अर्थात् गले के नीचे लटकता हुआ भाग है. (१)
EN English Translation
Both the horns of this cow are Prajapati and Parmeshti. Indra is the head of this, agni frontal and Yama Krikat i.e. the hanging part under the neck. (1)
सोमो॒ राजा॑ म॒स्तिष्को॒ द्यौरु॑त्तरह॒नुः पृ॑थि॒व्यधरह॒नुः ॥ (२)

सोम राजा गाय का मस्तक है, द्यौ ऊपर की ठोड़ी और धरती ठोड़ी का ऊपर वाला भाग है. (२)
EN English Translation
Som Raja is the head of the cow, the upper chin and the earth is the upper part of the chin. (2)
वि॒द्युज्जि॒ह्वा म॒रुतो॒ दन्ता॑ रे॒वती॑र्ग्री॒वाः कृत्ति॑का स्क॒न्धा घ॒र्मो वहः॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
बिजली गाय की जीभ, मरुद्गण, दांत, रेवती नक्षत्र गरदन, कृत्तिका नक्षत्र कंधा और धर्म र्क्त का प्रवाह है. (३)
EN English Translation
Electricity is the flow of cow's tongue, deserts, teeth, Revati Nakshatra neck, Krittika Nakshatra shoulder and Dharma Karkat. (3)
विश्वं॑ वा॒युः स्व॒र्गो लो॒कः कृ॑ष्ण॒द्रं वि॒धर॑णी निवे॒ष्यः ॥ (४)

विश्व वायु, स्वर्गलोक तथा कृष्णाद्रि विधरणी (धारक शक्ति) निवेष्य (पृष्ठ भाग) है. (४)
EN English Translation
Vishwa Vayu, Swarglok and Krishnadri Vidharani (holding power) is niveshya (surface part). (4)
श्ये॒नः क्रो॒डो॒न्तरि॑क्षं पाज॒स्यं बृह॒स्पतिः॑ क॒कुद्बृ॑ह॒तीः कीक॑साः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
श्येन गाय का क्रोड अर्थात् कोख अथवा बगल, अंतरिक्ष पाजस्य (उदर), बृहस्पति ककुद, अर्थात् ठाट तथा बृहती छंद हड्डियां हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
The core of the Shyen cow i.e. womb or side, space pajasya (stomach), Jupiter kakud, i.e. that is, and brihati verses are bones. (5)

देवों की पत्नियां गाय की पसलियां हैं और उपसद उस की कोखें हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
The wives of devas are the ribs of the cow and the sub-members are its wombs. (6)
मि॒त्रश्च॒ वरु॑ण॒श्चांसौ॒ त्वष्टा॑ चार्य॒मा च॑ दो॒षणी॑ महादे॒वो बा॒हू ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मित्र और वरुण गाय के कंधे हैं, त्वष्टा तथा अर्यमा गाय की भुजाएं अर्थात् अगले पैर हैं तथा महादेव बाहु हैं. (७)
EN English Translation
Mitra and Varuna are the shoulders of the cow, Tvashta and Aryama are the arms of the cow i.e. the front legs and Mahadev is the arm. (7)

इंद्राणी गाय की कमर है. वायु पूंछ है और पवमान बाल हैं. (८)

Indrani is the waist of the cow. Air is tail and poovant is hair. (8)

ब्राह्मण और क्षत्रिय गाय के नितंब हैं तथा बल उस की जंघाएं हैं. (९)

Brahmins and Kshatriyas are the buttocks of the cow and the forces are its thighs. (9)
धा॒ता च॑ सवि॒ता चा॑ष्ठी॒वन्तौ॒ जङ्घा॑ गन्ध॒र्वा अ॑प्स॒रसः॒ कुष्ठि॑का॒ अदि॑तिः श॒फा ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
धाता और सविता गाय के होंठ, गंधर्व जंघाएं, अप्सराएं कोखें और अदिति शफ अर्थात् खुर हैं. (१०)
EN English Translation
Dhata and Savita are cow's lips, Gandharva thighs, nymphs are wombs and Aditi shaaf i.e. hoofs. (10)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
चेत गाय का हृदय, यकृत अर्थात् जिगर मेधा अर्थात् बुद्धि है तथा व्रत पुरीतत (आंत) नाड़ी है. (११)
EN English Translation
Chet is the heart of the cow, liver i.e. liver medha i.e. intellect and fast is pure (intestine) pulse. (11)

पर्वत बैल की प्लाशि (छोटी आंत) है, इरा उस की बड़ी आंत है और भूख के अभिमानी देवता इस की कोख हैं. (१२)
EN English Translation
The mountain is the plashi (small intestine) of the bull, the Ira is its large intestine and the arrogant god of hunger is its womb. (12)

क्रोध इस के गुरदे हैं, मन्यु इस के अंडकोष हैं और प्रजा इस का जननांग है. (१३)
EN English Translation
Anger is its kidneys, the values are its testicles and the subjects are its genitals. (13)
न॒दी सू॒त्री व॒र्षस्य॒ पत॑य॒ स्तना॑ स्तनयि॒त्नुरूधः॑ ॥ (१४)

नदी इस गाय का मूत्र, वर्ष के स्वामी इस के थन और मेघगर्जन इस का एन है. (१४)
EN English Translation
The river is the urine of this cow, the swami of the year is the udder of this and the thunder of this. (14)
वि॒श्वव्य॑चा॒श्चर्मौष॑धयो॒ लोमा॑नि॒ नक्ष॑त्राणि रू॒पम् ॥ (१५)

विश्वव्यचा इस का चर्म है, जड़ीबूटियां इस के लोम हैं तथा नक्षत्र इस का रूप है. (१५)
EN English Translation
Vishwavyacha is its skin, herbs are its lom and nakshatra is its form. (15)
दे॑वज॒ना गुदा॑ मनु॒ष्या आ॒न्त्राण्य॒त्रा उ॒दर॑म् ॥ (१६)

देवजन इस की गुदा, मनुष्य आंतें तथा अन्न उदर है. (१६)

Devjan is its anus, human intestines and food stomach. (16)

राक्षस इस के लोहित अर्थात रक्त और अन्य जन इस के ऊवध्य हैं. (१७)

The demons are its lohit i.e. blood and other people are its roots. (17)

पश्चिम दिशा में ठहरी हुई गाय और उत्तर दिशा में ठहरी हुई गाय सविता हैं. (२२)

यु॒ज्यमा॑नो वैश्वदे॒वो यु॒क्तः प्र॒जाप॑ति॒र्विमु॑क्तः॒ सर्व॑म् ॥ (२४)

गाय का देखना मित्र और लौटना आनंद है. (२४)

Seeing the cow is a friend and returning is a pleasure. (24)

This form of the world is the form of cow. (25)
उपै॑नं वि॒श्वरू॑पाः॒ सर्व॑रूपाः प॒शव॑स्तिष्ठन्ति॒ य ए॒वं वेद॑ ॥ (२६)

जो इस बात को जानता है, वह सारे संसार के सभी रूपों वाले पशुओं का स्वामी बनता है. (२६)
EN English Translation
He who knows this becomes the master of animals of all forms of the whole world. (26)
