पावन, रश्मियुक्त, धीर, फल धारण करने वाले एवं अपनी बुद्धि से समस्त प्राणियों को पवित्र करने वाले सूर्य माता-पिता तुल्य धरती और आकाश के पुत्र हैं. वे धरतीरूपी शुक्लवर्ण धेनु और आकाशरूपी सामर्थ्यसंपन्न बैल को प्रकाशित करते हैं एवं आकाश से उज्ज्वल दूध दुहते हैं. (३)

The sun, who is pure, rashmi- friendly, patient, bear fruit and sanctifies all beings with his wisdom, are the sons of the earth and the sky like the parents. They illuminate the earthly Shuklavarna Dhenu and the sky-like powerful bull and milk the bright milk from the sky. (3)
