असा॑वि॒ सोमः॑ पुरुहूत॒ तुभ्यं॒ हरि॑भ्यां य॒ज्ञमुप॑ याहि॒ तूय॑म् । तुभ्यं॒ गिरो॒ विप्र॑वीरा इया॒ना द॑धन्वि॒र इ॑न्द्र॒ पिबा॑ सु॒तस्य॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे बहुतों द्वारा बुलाए गए इंद्र! तुम्हारे लिए सोमरस निचोड़ा गया है. तुम अपने घोड़ों द्वारा जल्दी यज्ञ में आओ. श्रेष्ठ ब्राह्मणों ने स्तुतियां करते हुए तुम्हारे लिए यह सोमरस दिया है. तुम इसे पिओ. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra called by many! For you the somras has been squeezed. You come to the yagna quickly by your horses. The best Brahmins have given this somras for you while praising you. You drink it. (1)
अ॒प्सु धू॒तस्य॑ हरिवः॒ पिबे॒ह नृभिः॑ सु॒तस्य॑ ज॒ठरं॑ पृणस्व । मि॒मि॒क्षुर्यमद्र॑य इन्द्र॒ तुभ्यं॒ तेभि॑र्वर्धस्व॒ मद॑मुक्थवाहः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे हरि नाम के घोड़ों वाले इंद्र! यज्ञकर्म करने वाले मनुष्यों द्वारा निचोड़े गए और जलों में स्वच्छ किए गए सोमरस को पिओ तथा अपना पेट भरो. पत्थरों ने तुम्हारे लिए जो सोम सींचा है, उससे अपना मद बढ़ाओ तथा स्तुतियों को स्वीकार करो. (२)
EN English Translation
O Indra with horses named Hari! Drink the somras squeezed by the sacrificial humans and cleaned in the water and fill your stomach. Increase your item from the soma that the stones have sewn for you and accept the praises. (2)
प्रोग्रां पी॒तिं वृष्ण॑ इयर्मि स॒त्यां प्र॒यै सु॒तस्य॑ हर्यश्व॒ तुभ्य॑म् । इन्द्र॒ धेना॑भिरि॒ह मा॑दयस्व धी॒भिर्विश्वा॑भिः॒ शच्या॑ गृणा॒नः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे हरि नामक घोड़ों वाले एवं वर्षाकर्ता इंद्र! तुम्हारे पीने के लिए निचोड़े गए सोम को यज्ञ में तुम्हारे आने का निश्चय जानकर तुम्हें भेंट करता हूं. तुम शक्ति से युक्त एवं प्रशंसित होकर इस यज्ञ में समस्त स्तुतियों एवं कर्मो से प्रसन्न बनो. (३)
EN English Translation
O Indra, the horseman and the rainer, named Hari! Knowing your determination to come to the yagna, I offer you the som squeezed for your drink. Be pleased with all the praises and deeds in this yajna by being empowered and admired. (3)
ऊ॒ती श॑चीव॒स्तव॑ वी॒र्ये॑ण॒ वयो॒ दधा॑ना उ॒शिज॑ ऋत॒ज्ञाः । प्र॒जाव॑दिन्द्र॒ मनु॑षो दुरो॒णे त॒स्थुर्गृ॒णन्तः॑ सध॒माद्या॑सः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शक्तिशाली इंद्र! तुम्हारी रक्षा से अन्न धारण करने वाले एवं प्रजाओं को धारण करने वाले उशिजवंशी यज्ञ करने की अभिलाषा से यजमानों के घरों में स्थित हुए. वे तुम्हारी स्तुति के साथ-साथ प्रसन्न हो रहे थे. (४)
EN English Translation
O mighty Indra! The Ushijavanshis, who wore food from your protection and possessed the people, were located in the houses of the hosts with the desire to perform yajna. They were pleased with your praise as well. (4)
प्रणी॑तिभिष्टे हर्यश्व सु॒ष्टोः सु॑षु॒म्नस्य॑ पुरु॒रुचो॒ जना॑सः । मंहि॑ष्ठामू॒तिं वि॒तिरे॒ दधा॑नाः स्तो॒तार॑ इन्द्र॒ तव॑ सू॒नृता॑भिः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे हरि नामक घोड़ों के स्वामी, शोभन स्तोत्र वाले, सुंदर धन वाले व विशाल दीप्ति वाले इंद्र! तुम्हारी शोभन स्तुतियों द्वारा स्तोताओं ने अपनी तथा दूसरों की रक्षा की है. (५)
EN English Translation
O lord of horses named Hari, Indra with shobhan stotra, with beautiful wealth and with huge radiance! The Psalms have protected themselves and others through your adornment praises. (5)
उप॒ ब्रह्मा॑णि हरिवो॒ हरि॑भ्यां॒ सोम॑स्य याहि पी॒तये॑ सु॒तस्य॑ । इन्द्र॑ त्वा य॒ज्ञः क्षम॑माणमानड्दा॒श्वाँ अ॑स्यध्व॒रस्य॑ प्रके॒तः ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे हरि नाम के घोड़ों वाले इंद्र! तुम अपने घोड़ों द्वारा यज्ञों में निचोड़े हुए सोमरस को पीने जाओ. शक्तिशाली इंद्र को ही यज्ञ प्राप्त करते हैं. तुम यज्ञ का विषय समझकर दान करते हो. (६)
EN English Translation
O Indra with horses named Hari! You go drink the somras squeezed into the yagnas by your horses. The powerful Indra receives the yajna only. You make a donation by understanding the subject of the yajna. (6)
स॒हस्र॑वाजमभिमाति॒षाहं॑ सु॒तेर॑णं म॒घवा॑नं सुवृ॒क्तिम् । उप॑ भूषन्ति॒ गिरो॒ अप्र॑तीत॒मिन्द्रं॑ नम॒स्या ज॑रि॒तुः प॑नन्त ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे असीम अन्न वाले, शत्रुपराजयकारी, सोमरस में रमण करने वाले, धनयुक्त, शोभन स्तुति वाले एवं युद्ध में अन्यों द्वारा न ललकारे गए इंद्र को सुशोभित करते हैं. स्तोता नमस्कार पूर्वक इंद्र की स्तुति करते हैं. (७)
EN English Translation
O one with infinite food, shatruparajakari, raman in someras, rich, shobhana praise and beautify Indra, who is not challenged by others in war. Stota namaskar praises Indra. (7)
स॒प्तापो॑ दे॒वीः सु॒रणा॒ अमृ॑क्ता॒ याभिः॒ सिन्धु॒मत॑र इन्द्र पू॒र्भित् । न॒व॒तिं स्रो॒त्या नव॑ च॒ स्रव॑न्तीर्दे॒वेभ्यो॑ गा॒तुं मनु॑षे च विन्दः ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शत्रुनगरियों का भेदन करने वाले इंद्र! तुमने शोभन-शब्द वाली एवं बाधारहित गंगा आदि सात नदियों द्वारा सागर को बढ़ाया, तुमने देवों और मानवों के कल्याण के लिए निन्यानवे नदियों को मार्ग प्राप्त कराया. (८)
EN English Translation
O Indra, who penetrates the enemy cities! You have extended the ocean by seven rivers like the beautiful and unhindered Ganga, etc., you have given way to ninety-nine rivers for the welfare of gods and human beings. (8)
अ॒पो म॒हीर॒भिश॑स्तेरमु॒ञ्चोऽजा॑गरा॒स्वधि॑ दे॒व एकः॑ । इन्द्र॒ यास्त्वं वृ॑त्र॒तूर्ये॑ च॒कर्थ॒ ताभि॑र्वि॒श्वायु॑स्त॒न्वं॑ पुपुष्याः ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुमने वृत्र के पास से बहुत जल गिराया. इन मुक्त जलों के प्रति एकमात्र तुम्हीं सावधान थे. तुमने वृत्र को मारकर प्राप्त किए गए जलों से सारे संसार के प्राणियों का शरीर पुष्ट किया था. (९)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You dropped a lot of water from the vritra. You were the only one who was wary of these free waters. You had confirmed the body of the creatures of the whole world with the waters obtained by killing the vritra. (9)
वी॒रेण्यः॒ क्रतु॒रिन्द्रः॑ सुश॒स्तिरु॒तापि॒ धेना॑ पुरुहू॒तमी॑ट्टे । आर्द॑यद्वृ॒त्रमकृ॑णोदु लो॒कं स॑सा॒हे श॒क्रः पृत॑ना अभि॒ष्टिः ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र अतिशय वीर, यज्ञकर्मो वाले एवं शोभन स्तुतियुक्त हैं. मेरी वाणी इंद्र की स्तुति करती है. इंद्र ने वृत्र को मारा, प्रकाश किया, शक्तिशाली बनकर शत्रु को हराया एवं शत्रुओं की सेनाओं को समाप्त किया. (१०)
EN English Translation
Indra is very heroic, yajnakarma wale and shobhan stuti ably. My voice praises Indra. Indra killed the vritra, lighted up, became powerful and defeated the enemy and eliminated the armies of the enemies. (10)
शु॒नं हु॑वेम म॒घवा॑न॒मिन्द्र॑म॒स्मिन्भरे॒ नृत॑मं॒ वाज॑सातौ । शृ॒ण्वन्त॑मु॒ग्रमू॒तये॑ स॒मत्सु॒ घ्नन्तं॑ वृ॒त्राणि॑ सं॒जितं॒ धना॑नाम् ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! अन्नप्राप्ति वाले युद्ध में मैं उत्साह से बढ़े हुए एवं धनस्वामी तुम्हें बुलाता हूं. तुम यज्ञ के कुशल नेता हो. तुम युद्धों में अपने सेवकों की रक्षा के लिए भयानक रूप धारण करते हो, शत्रुओं को मारते एवं उनका धन जीतते हो. (११)
EN English Translation
O Indra! In the war of food, I call you, who have grown up enthusiastically and have been rich. You are the efficient leader of the yagna. You take a terrible form to protect your servants in wars, kill your enemies and win their money. (11)
